Nice location , poor interior, unjustified price

Nice building from the outside, with a nice location but the inside is shockingly different from the pictures available online and is totally not worth the high rate asked for

The interior and the rooms should be totally refurbished and the price halved. Today I understand the reason it's a 2 stars hotel but I still don't get the price positioning...totally uncalled for

vicinity to the beach is an asset of la Galeria.

La Galeria is a VERY clean place. Attention is being paid to all details!

Clean, amazing summer location by the La Concha beach (although slightly further from the centre about 25 min walk) but easily reached by bus. Nice seaside views, aircon, friendly staff, very good bathroom and free Nespresso coffee capsules daily.

It was way too noisy and poorly insulated. I can imagine it being amazing if you’re alone or not too many guests at once but we could hear the next door guests at all times as if they were in our room.

Classic European hotel in a very good location.

The location is good if you do not like an active social life :) It's pretty close to the excellent beach, but it takes 20 mins to walk to the city center (shopping and restaurant area). A few minutes to walk to the funicular. Yes, very stylish lobby and classic good furniture in the room. Staff support with restaurant, beach towels, and parking.

Breakfast has no huge variety of food, but tasty.

It is very close to the beach and the promenade to be able to walk into town.

The decor was a bit over the top and made our room feel very dark. There was also no communal space to hang out like a lobby or communal outdoor space.

great location near the beach; only 20 min walk to the historic centre. and staff were really friendly and polite on our arrival. We definitely made the right choice. there is a 24h desk and staff helped us book a taxi early morning for our departure. Thank you guys

Very good

This place is simple but functional. It's more like a hostel than a hotel but it is safe, works well and has everything I needed for a night. Would definitely book again.

Not much to complain about. It is simple, so don't expect too much. Youth hostel style, rather than hotel style.

dreadful place - will never go back

we loved san Sebastian and the area round the hotel, it was also very close the the sea but from the image it looked like it was actually on the beach front - it wasn't

the room its self was dull dingy and the bed was the smallest double bed in the world- the pillows were foam and the room had an electrical buzz to it that only went off when we took the key card out the machine- so couldn't use the electrics all night we didn't have a view of the beach, my sister booed a single room and when I booked it went from 124 euros a night the 155 then when she came to pay it was 175 euros

A old-fashioned, individual Hotel.

Very Spanish/Basque with old furniture, and modern fittings. Very close to the beach and Miramar park. Coffee and tea in room.

Sadly no cycles for hire. The bathroom has a rail which is useful for older people, but the toilet is in the corner and a bit cramped.
