I had such a magical time at the resort, the owners were lovely people and so kind, caring and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. I am fully plant based and there was maximum effort to create the most delicious breakfasts with the most natural and fresh Caribbean food, some even gown within the grounds of the resort itself. The rooms are so clean and comfy and the resort is a dream with such beautiful nature and is super quite and safe. The white sandy beach is a 5 min walk at the bottom of the hill and close by is so many amazing authentic places to eat. Looking forward to going back soon.

Spectacular views and great facilities! We went for a swim in the pool every morning and then enjoyed a homemade breakfast made by the lovely hosts Lloyd and Kate!
The hosts are an amazing lovely couple who helped us with activities exploring the area and cooked for us every evening!
Definitely recommend to stay here if you are in Jamaica and want to get away from crowded touristy places

Beautifully designed, good pool, delightful hosts and fabulous views. Quiet and safe. Excellent varied breakfasts. The property is built on a hillside overlooking Long Bay set in a beautiful tropical garden.
It is quite remote without many other restaurants or tourist facilities within walking distance. Our hosts were happy to cook for us in the evening, often using food grown in their garden. The roads between Kingston and Port Antonio are not for the faint hearted.

The kindest most sweetest hosts, we were taken great care of. We all enjoyed our stay at pimento.
Thank you very much

Almost everything about Pimento Lodge met or exceeded our expectations. Lloyd and Kate are excellent and knowledgeable hosts, their daughter Dionne was also there and it was a pleasure to meet and talk with her. The food was good and the location and lodge surroundings were also very good.
The meals and drinks are a little pricey, which no doubt reflects the lack of alternatives in Long Bay and around.

Amazing views and coastline. Delicious excellent vegetarian food and fish, much of the produce grown organically on the property’s grounds.
More information about property and area would have been useful. Supper is $35 with fish and $25 for vegetarians. Long trip from Kingston on windy roads over the mountains or the patchy tarmac on the coastal road.

Scenery and location was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Lack of access to WiFi as when booking one of my criteria for choosing Pimento Lodge was free WiFi. Having limited access to the one dongle in the property meant we were cut from communicating with family and with no TV in the room, there was no alternative entertainment on the property.
2.5
Breakfast was straight from the fruit trees on property (breadfruit and ackee) it’s was delicious and Ms Kate went the extra mile to have them fried for me. The view was nice. Staff friendly. Room was clean and good enough space for two people.
Breakfast could have had more variety to choose from. There was no WIFI, no TV, not much to do on property and the attractions are quit a distant away. No stores or fast food close enough to the property. The roads to get the property are terrible not recommended for pregnant women, people who suffer from migraines or medical issues because it will take you a long while to get to the nearest hospital. If want to get away from the outside world this is the place to go.
3.5
The views and the hosts were great. The facilities were OK but there was no TV and WiFi as advertised.
Breakfast on the first morning was very good, but the following morning was disappointing. The property is well maintained and is lush with floral and fruit vegetation. Property has great potential and hopefully will benefit from the new roadway construction currently underway.
Must provide TV and WiFi as advertised or remove them from advertisements.

We had a wonderful time and immediately felt at home thanks to the owners, Lloyd and Kate, who are delightful people and very caring hosts. Breakfast time on the terrace was very special as Lloyd and Kate prepare something that includes a local flavor and there is always time to talk. This is more like visiting friends than staying in a hotel -- a rare and wonderful thing!
I liked everything very much

Pimento is a cozy hideaway resort with lovely rooms, spectacular views and charming amenities. The grounds are filled with various fruit trees and the rooms are perched on a slope so you feel the ocean breeze. Definitely an amazing experience, if only for a short conversation with Lloyd and Kate! They are the best hosts that you will find in Jamaica - kind, full of stories and jokes, truly a lovely couple.

The couple who run the hotel could not be nicer. The layout of the hotel is wonderful, and we had no complaints what so ever.
Not the hotels fault but the road works outside the hotel made travel difficult.

We had an immediate connection with the owners. Excellent service but more importantly, friendly, smart and fun people. We enjoyed good conversation and the food was very good.
The refrigerator was loud in the room.

We arrived at the hotel after a long drive, Lloyd the owner of the hotel greeted us, he accompanied us to our room. The room was very nice, spacious and very clean.
Outside the room there is a table and two chairs so you can enjoy sitting outside. The surroundings of the hotel is very beautiful, lots of flowers and trees. Along with Lloyd is his wife Kate, Kate is an amazing cook, we really enjoyed the meals.
Kate and Lloyd are kind hosts, we really enjoyed chatting with them and hearing their story. For those looking to escape the noise this is definitely the place for you, quiet and calm. You will not be disappointed when you get here. Accommodation above expectations.

Lloyd and his wife are such interesting and warming people. They love receiving people. The place was built by them and it is so beautiful. The garden is amazing!
Mattress is too hard. Also, I recommend this location for people who want a peaceful stay.

We spent a week at Pimento Lodge resort and can highly recommend this accommodation if you want a beautiful and relaxing place to stay at. Lloyd the owner made us feel at home, always made sure we were well taken care of, and provided us with good recommendations of where to go and what to do in the area. All the staff was also friendly, helpful, and the service flawless. You have the option to have dinners arranged at the hotel, which we took advantage of a couple of nights, and the food was delicious. Lloyd also makes sure to have the bar open for when you need it. The views are amazing it was great to go back to the resort with its pool after exploring the region during the day. The small number of cottages on the large property made us feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and this was the highlight of our trip to Jamaica
The road leading up to the property is very rough, especially the last couple hundred meters
