Wonderful country side stay. Very close to the river Loire, good for bird and nature lovers. Very friendly hosts. The dinner was excellent. Got upgrade to larger room due to staying many days. Short driving distance from Angers and Brissac. Highly recommend.
Room could use yearly thorough brushing of cobwebs.

The hosts, Mirjam and Claude are really exceptional hosts: they make you feel home immediately, bringing you the best food and drinks and inviting you to socialise with other guests in their living room :-) An unforgettable experience! And the place is surrounded by large fields, you are in the middle of nature - so we really enjoyed it.
Overall we really had a great stay. The only thing that could slightly be improved is that the place could do with a little bit of maintenance in some areas. Having said that, I would go back any time!

Hosts were excellent at hospitality, genuine. Property was spacious and beautiful. we enjoyed the meal they offered.
Although the rooms were decorated very nicely and were very clean, the two attic rooms had low beams which were a bit hard to navigate. Overall the room was still lovely. Just something to be aware of. It would work well for a night or two , but if you are staying longer you might ask for a different room.

Extremely lovely staff, very accommodating. 3 lovely dogs to greet you and a nice relaxing outdoor area to hang out in. Just steps from the banks of the famous Loire river and nestled amongst some very serene countryside.
If you're over 6 foot or 1.8 meters tall I would recommend staying out of the attic rooms. They are super cute but I can't count the number of times I hit my head on the beams that criss cross the room and bathroom.

Johanna is an amazing woman, full of energy, knowledgeable, warm friendly and welcoming - she has travelled the world over and has many stories to tell whilst entertaining you. The location, environment and the garden gives a chilled feel, not to mention the dining barn which top quality foods is served. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely highly recommend Le Mouton. See you again in the near future 😁👍

Quiet. Old house
Room size is not 30 m2 as advertised and you can’t stand up as it is under the roof

The location was superb, very peaceful. Our room was quite unique. We enjoyed a delicious dinner served in front of an open fire in the kitchen. Food was superb - all fresh and vegetables from the garden. Our breakfast was delicious too and we were made very welcome! Merci beaucoup Chantal et Juliette et Whisky et Coco! We had a wonderful stay!
