Thermal pools and garden around.
Good inexpensive restaurant on site.
Nice breakfast .
Some things here and there could have renovation. But it is already reflected in hotel price.

We had Cabina 1 which has its own pool behind the cabina!
This place calls itself an “oasis of tranquillity” and that is exactly what it is!
All the staff was wonderful !

location, views, cleanliness, relaxing thermal water pools, beautifully kept landscaping ….. the friendliest staff and the best ‘typical costarican food’ cook (Doña Flor).

We had a wonderful two-night stay relaxing in the pools and enjoying the very pleasant temperature of the higher elevation. We came on a busy holiday weekend and the pools were busy in the afternoon with day crowds. After the day visitors left and early in the morning, we had the pools to ourselves. We soaked and watched birds fly overhead and perch on trees nearby. Breakfast was good and the staff is amazing! Don't leave without trying (and buying) the cheeses from their dairy. They make the best cheese I have tried in Costa Rica! Carlos speaks English and always made sure our stay was perfect. Nice assortment of of pools, and if you stay in Bungalow 1 you have your own private pool out your back door. We are coming back!

The property has numerous hot springs and spectacular views of the mountain. The staff was very nice. Very close to Rincón de la Viejo National park.

We rented 2 bungalows that each had a private thermal pool included (though there are at least 4 more larger thermal pools on the property). We stayed the last 2 nights of our trip...we were tired and decided to just hang out on our last full day and use the thermal pools. It's a peaceful location, we loved our pools and it's just an easy hour and half drive from the Liberia airport. The people were very friendly and generous making us feel very comfortable. We even ate all our meals there. The bungalows are well appointed, comfortable with sliding glass doors and back deck. Pura Vida
Noting, just what we needed

The hot springs were amazing! We were only here for one night, we wish we had time to stay longer. I will definitely be returning here. Wonderful, comfortable accommodations, amazing facilities, fantastic natural surroundings and super friendly staff. What more can you ask for?

This family run hotel is a gem. The bungalows are basic, but all you need. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. We saw toucans and capybaras while sitting in the warm thermal pools. Beautiful views of Miravalles volcano.

Breakfast included and was very good. Pineapple yogurt is the best and made on site
Grounds are beautiful and Toucans in the trees. Loved socializing with the friendly cows
The bathroom faucet was very loose andunsecure. The bed had a bedskirt on top of the bed for a cover. Housekeeping didn’t replace towels after she took used ones. She didn’t replace paper hand towels when empty. Paid extra for cabin with a hot tum but it was barely warm

This hotel is phenomenal, our family spent excellent four nights there. We had two cabins, one of them with a private hot-spring pool. The staff was fabulous and very accommodating. For example, we were able to cancel one extra cabin that we booked but ended up not needing, even though the booking was non-refundable. The breakfasts included in the rate were fantastic, tasty and plentiful. This place is great even in the wet season. My personal highlight was soaking in the private hot pool during a tropical downpour.
Our cabin could use some minor repairs, the ceiling fan was too noisy, something broken with it, the shower and the sink had quirky regulators. I also wasn't aware that the cabins do not have air conditioning - it wasn't at all an issue during our stay, but maybe it gets hot during the dry season?

The hotel is located out in the countryside, with a beautiful view of the Volcano Miravalles. The road from the freeway up to the hotel is in excellent condition. Breakfast was very good and typical for the area: fruit, homemade yogurt, eggs, cheese, gallo pinto (rice and beans), platano, and toast. Delicious! This is a family run hotel and it shows that they do things to satisfy the clients!

Included breakfast was delicious and had a variety of choices. We also are dinner which was fabulous and order empanadas both nights we stayed. They were fantastic. Wait staff was kind and hard working!
(Room photos below were “lived in” - room was clean and neat when we arrived and clean and neat when we came back from our excursion the next day!)

Loved the 8 hot spring pools, the lovely gardens and adjacent natural areas. There was good birdwatching on site, indeed even from the warm to hot pools! I loved walking along streamside and pond banks in early morning and at night (frogs, bats, sleeping birds). Alas, didn't see the resident armadillos.
Liked the comfortable cabin (only 5 there I think), the peaceful setting, the dramatic volcanic mountain viewed from the pools and restaurant. We mostly ate there, just took water and fruit if we were walking by day.
Lovely family hosts - we felt very welcome and we enjoyed conversations with Carlos, a good way to learn more about life in Costa Rica. It was very restful and was our favourite place we stayed on our 3 week trip in Costa Rica.
There wasn't anything we disliked

This was the most beautiful property at which we have ever stayed! Seven hot springs scattered with beautiful views of the volcano. We checked in and only left once to go to town and have lunch which I also recommend. The service was second to none and if you need a place to unwind you’ve found it!

Very friendly owner/family who provided lots of help and fulfilled our requests, always with smiles on their face. Delicious breakfast and tasty food in the restaurant. Many thermal pools on the hotel ground which opened until 10pm. The cabanas with two double beds are spacious. There was a fridge in the cabin which was useful. WiFi was good speed.
Our cabin with one double bed (cabana 5) was very small; although, at the same rate, the cabins with two beds were of good size (cabanas 1, 2, 3). No wardrobe, but there was a short bar with a few hangers for clothes.
