About this cottage rental
Paradise End is popular for its open-plan style downstairs and the fantastic views over Hebden beck and up to the hills and moors beyond the cottage. It's a sociable and family friendly spot where no one needs to get stuck in the kitchen on their own. The kitchen with all the necessary appliances has a wooden dining table with seating for 8. This leads into the living area which has a large, comfortable sofa and chairs and the most amazing views out over your terrace. There is also a corner snug area with large Smart TV . For those of us not inside watching TV there's lots of inspiration with guide books, maps and local history books to explore. There's loads of children's books and family games too.
There's a walk in cupboard for hanging coats. You also have the key to a separate laundry and drying room where you'll find your washing machine and drying racks for washing and any wet weather gear.
The cottage has 4 bedrooms:-
1. A king (5ft) double room, with open wardrobe. On the ground floor with shower room across the hall.
2. Small double (4ft 6") room with chest of drawers, but no wardrobe in this room.
3. Larger twin room (2 x 3ft wide singles) with wardrobe and drawer storage.
4. A king (5ft) double room with wardrobe and baby change unit. Space for your travel cot in this room.
Paradise End is the end of a row of the three Jerry and Ben's Cottages. Outside the cottage is your own private terrace with round table and benches for 8. There's also a BBQ. There is access (steep steps) down to the stream, woods and gardens which are shared with the 2 other holiday cottages. The cottage is on a footpath and many great walks surround us - up onto the moors or down to the village of Hebden (10 minutes on foot) with its pub and cafe and beyond to the River Wharfe.

Our family of six (ages 15 to 55) thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Paradise End. It is beautifully situated with walks, landscapes, wildlife starting or visible right from the door that will amaze everyone. It was the perfect combination of feeling remote and away from crowds yet within east reach (walking or driving) to village amenities. The Clarendon and the Old School Tea Room were exceptional. Fiona was helpful and responsive. We unanimously agreed that we will return.

Paradise End was a lovely cottage with a lovely view of the stream below. We loved the walking trail that left from the the back door. We found the house to be as advertised and the owner was very responsive on the few times we needed anything. It was a nice launching point for hiking in the southern Yorkshire dales.

Spacious and comfortable house with walks from the door
We loved our stay in this fabulous house. The location and views are very special, not least for the number of walks that can be taken directly from the door and the opportunity to scramble on the boulders on the hillside across the beck! The owners have thoughtfully kitted it out the house so that it is very comfortable and very well equipped. We hope to return …

Fabulous location
We had a lovely stay at Paradise End. The house was perfect for us - a family of 5 adults (youngest 19) who wanted a quiet location with lots of walks from the front door as well as easy access to other activities such as caving and gorge walking.
Fiona was really helpful before and during our stay and there’s lots of great info provided in the cottage.
We will miss falling asleep to the sound of the stream!

Hope to come back one day.

Perfect place
Hard to be over-enthusiastic about this stylish and comfortable cottage in a most beautiful place. Combines seclusion and privacy with nearby essential amenities (i.e. a great pub!) and lots to do round about. Only problem was the hideous traffic on the drive to and through Leeds/Bradford to get there, and a difficult train journey for one person to Skipton. return journey however was problem free.

Lovely Cottage in beautiful location
A well equipped cottage, tastefully decorated in a wonderful setting. Walking routes from the front door in several directions. Wildlife visiting the garden and owls hooting in the night.
Sadly we didn't meet Fiona but the messages I had left for her prior to arriving had been acted upon. I'm sorry we were unable to thank her in person.
A lovely stay & recommended!

Stunning location, fantastically equipped for families and their requirements.
The setting exceeded my expectations, a beautiful location where we had pheasants at our window and spotted a heron on more than one occasion from the comfy sitting room. The cottage has a downstairs bedroom and shower for those with some mobility issues (which we had) and toys, books, plates etc for children which was a pleasant surprise. There are some great walks from the cottage going in all directions. The owner has a really helpful guide and lives nearby.
A real family cottage and I hope we can return in the future either in the same or other properties at the location. Has to be one of the most picturesque places we have ever stayed in!

Beautiful spot in the Yorkshire Dales
This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. Plenty of room for 8 people, very well equipped. A short walk from a quaint village with a great tea room, it is set in beautiful countryside with breathtaking views. Fiona was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning again.

Paradise End
Just come back from a 4 day stay in Hebden. Cannot recommend Jerry and Ben's Cottages highly enough. Set in a very picturesque area with amazing views - don't forget to take your camera on every trip you do. Some lovely walks from the house so you don't even need to use the car.
Do not hesitate to book, we will be going back next year.

Excellent property in the ideal location for exploring
We were a group of 5 adults with 4 young children so not always easy to find the right type of property. But, this one was spot on. The kitchen, dining and living space was sufficnetly open plan to keep half an eye on the kids whilst laid out in such a way to give the feeling that those relaxing in the living area were not being overlooking by those eating at the dining room table or in the kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size with adequate storage space. The garden was a delight and the kids had great fun wading in the stream and exploring the overlooking hillside. All in all, a great stay!

Absolutely Stunning Cottage and Location
This was a family gathering of six people in total. My wife and I, sister-in-law (whose significant birthday was the reason for the celebration), our son, our daughter and her partner. The directions were spot on and the setting, even at first glance, was stunning. The property was spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully equipped. Going through to the rear lounge revealed a breath-taking view over the beck and of the surrounding hills.
Fiona came over to make sure that we were OK, apologised if the paint on the front door was still tacky and emphasised that we should not hesitate to ask should any problems arise.
We stayed for three full days and at no time were we lost for anything to do. Stunning views, a good range of walks and runs. Hebden, Grassington and other locations near to hand. My wife and I have taken self catering holidays for 30 years and Paradise End Cottage is definitely one of the best, if not the best, properties in which we have had the pleasure to stay. That gorgeous view from the rear garden will live with me for a long, long time. The most telling recommendation is that the family voted en bloc to return next year.
