Entirely enjoyed my stay - highly recommend!

Great private Onsen (inside and outside)! Friendly staff. Cosy living room with fire place. Great kitchen room and plenty of room to spend time during the day. Wonderful location. Professional website.

Cozy place in a beautiful environment with great staff.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull. There are many recommendations for hikes, nearby restaurants and public transport. There is a cozy common room with books and a fire, and a small shop to buy food. The free amenities are high quality. The rooms are clean and spaceous, as are the onsen. The venue is in a great location with amazing scenery nearby. It's well reachable without a car.

The windows have traditional japanese blinds, but no additional curtains, meaning that the room gets very light at ~5 AM (in June). The onsen have a slightly sulfur-like smell to them, which might not be enjoyable for everyone.

que lugar especial! tudo pensado com tanto carinho, com funcionários tão receptivos, lindo demais. eu amei! os onsens (um externo e dois internos) são ótimos e não é preciso pagar nada a mais para usufruir, apenas reservar no momento do checkin.

o fato de não existirem passeios na primavera, apenas no inverno. tem poucas bicicletas para aluguel, não consegui reservar. uma sugestão: o café parceiro da pousada poderia oferecer um lanche a noite, assim como oferece café da manhã (solicitado com antecedência). o restaurante mais indicado (walking distance) estava fechado e o outro oferecia uma comida bem sem graça, preferia ter comido um sanduíche no raicho, por exemplo. numa próxima oportunidade iria de carro e levaria uma compra de supermercado.

貸切り温泉が3つあり、一つは露天風呂なところ！ 4回入りました　タオルもその都度使えて良かったです食器、キッチン家電なんでもあり、色々持ち込めば作れそう

露天風呂の温度が低くて物足りなかった、真っ暗闇の露天風呂怖かった　バス旅だったので辿り着く為のバスの時間が数本しかない、、、

Superverbliif als je wilt wandelen en relaxen

Als je wilt wandelen en een comfortabel verblijf wilt moet je hier zijn, wat een prettige plek. Neem zelf eten mee (hoewel de basisdingen wel te koop zijn, er ligt van alles in de kast zoals pasta en rijst) en kook ‘‘s avonds gezellig met anderen je maaltijd. Daarna in de binnen- of buitenonsen en nagenieten bij de open haard. Ik wilde in de buurt van Kamikochi verblijven, dit was goed te doen met de bus. En heb vanuit het guesthouse ook twee mooie wandelingen gemaakt.

Kan niets verzinnen.

ห้องรับแขกและห้องครัวส่วนรวมใหญ๋ดีมีข้าวของเครื่องใช้พร้อม ห้องแช่ออนเซ็น มีให้จองเป็นรอบๆ ห้องนึงจองได้รอบละครึ่งชั่วโมง มี่แบบในร่ม 2 ห้องและกลางแจ้ง 1 ห้อง

ฝักบัวอาบน้ำในห้องแช่ออนเซ็นที่ใช้มี 3 อันแต่ใช้ได้อันเดียว ที่แช่กลางแจ้งตอนกลางคืนไฟมืดไปหน่อย เหมาะกับแช่ตอนกลางวันมากกว่า ราคาห้องพักแบบส่วนตัวถือว่าค่อนข้างแพง

Exceptional stay, beautiful guest house with wonderful onsen!

Warm and inviting interiors with a lovely hand-drawn murals on the walls. Wonderful rooms, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds were especially comfortable. Shared bath was clean and amply stocked with bath soaps. Highlight was the three onsens onsite that guests reserve for private use.

Its a modest but very pleasant guesthouse. My family reserved the Onsen for a private use and that was fantastic (no additional charge for this). Very very helpful and kind reception. Strongly recommended. The drive there is through the mountains, better to arrive at day time if you are driving a car.

Very environmentally friendly

Staff are very friendly, they even drive us to and return from nearby restaurant by their own car. Rooms are simple but stylist. Outdoor onsen is superb. Sustainability and environmental friendliness are fully promoted and implemented in the hostel.

Lovely place to stay. Usage of the indoor and outdoor onsens are booked for private use (and there was plenty of opportunity during our one night stay) so it was nice that my partner and I were able to enjoy it together.

Fantastic hotel with great onsen

Amazing onsen, can be booked to use privately. Big comfy beds, great little touches - they really have thought of everything! We had the most amazing stay & would definitely recommend.

Ear plugs are needed as sound travels quite easily in the property

Great location. Hotel has everything you might need to rent for your active holiday and day out in the mountains.

no tea making facilities in the room. You have to go down to the canteen for this and sometimes queue for the kettle.

the building design was kind of interesting, I love the room that has the fireplace.

I didn’t know that I had to make my own meal. it was fun but even for people who could read the “how to do” it’s still very ambiguous.

Comfortable rooms, nice communal areas to lounge, beautiful open air outdoor onsen bath, lovely guided night trek to Zengorono falls, and they kindly sent us to the bus terminal as it was raining the next morning.

Receptionist was very friendly and nice, onsen is comfortable and traditional, the interior of the place was amazing and we loved the simple yet sufficient design :)

Beautiful, outdoor onsen, breakfast bagels and cozy fireplace...what a way to start a day!

From the start, when we were greeted enthusiastically by Nami-san, we knew we had found one of our favorite guesthouses. Our corner room with a bath, sitting room and bedroom with two comfy beds fit our needs exactly. As avid cross country skiers, we were thrilled to find loads of great trails. You can also book snowshoe treks with the guesthouse. And, to clarify, you can walk to several restaurants or buy some food at the guesthouse raicho the (instant soup/rice/etc.) to make in the kitchen. The guesthouse also has a coffeeshop with locally roasted coffee beans and four different homemade cakes.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

A comfy, friendly, and excellently located place; your ideal base when exploring Norikura Kogen.

Everything! Guesthouse Raicho was a truly wonderful place. The staff were kind and friendly, always happy to help with any question one had, the location was excellent, the facilities excellent. The guided snowshoe tours were also amazing fun, exciting and generally superb. I loved discovering Norikura Kogen, but I also really enjoyed getting to know the different members of staff too. My Japanese is still improving slowly, but (a) excellent English was spoken if need be, but also (b) the staff were very kind in helping me improve my Japanese. I definitely want to come back :)

Outdoor onsen is excellent, room is spacious n clean, common areas are warm n comfortable.

Great place in Nakaokogen with super staff!

The staff was super super helpful and friendly. Our heater and kotatsu weren’t working and they fixed/changed immediately. They also gave us good hiking tips and made reservations for dinner. The outdoor onsen was also incredible! It was just amazing to experience the onsen surrounded by snow, nature and open sky!

The bedroom was a little cold but the heater and kotatsu helped a lot.

Love every moment and will be back for autumn!

Well equipped, love how peaceful the surroundings are and the onsen was fantastic! It’s very rustic and charming. Read some reviews about the lack of food, but honestly it’s not at all an issue for me cos i just brought along some simple groceries / pre-packed food - the kitchen is very well equipped!

Lovely large rooms, great communal areas and private onsens.

Very nice large room with good amenities. Great communal kitchen and lounge. Good breakfast bagels. Great private indoor and outdoor onsens. A terrific base to see Zengorono Falls, which are stunning in winter.

The accomodation is great. It does not have a restaurant but you can buy some simple ready made food here (like noodles) and order bagels for breakfast. Nearby we had excellent meals at Irodori. Abbey Road was also very good for a meal.
