Location good. Property was very clean and well organised .Cake and some milk a lovely touch.
It was very small. Only suitable for a couple. Quite a busy road. Also be aware tea rooms , local pubs yes on your doorstep but may be closed or not serving food. Pop in as it’s very random. The White lion even ran out of crisps and coffee.

Location is good with so many footpaths short or long from the door, excellent bus service to Hebden Bridge.
The rain😉😉 and nothing else.

Spotlessly clean, very well appointed with everything you could need . Cafe opposite super. Great location for us to spend time with family who are in Hebden .

amenities were really close. loved the history of the place and age of buildings. cottage was very comfortable
padded lap trays to eat in front of tv would be a great addition
did not like being so close to a very busy cobbled road. at times it felt like being by a motorway. big trucks going right past the window often late at night. did find it difficult to get a good nights sleep

Great little cottage in a unique village, superb tea room with a fabulous breakfast, steps away, Community run post office next door, 2 pubs yards away, slight climb up the hill.

A lovely, clean and comfortable cottage, perfect for 2 adults. Good communication with the owner regarding key collection and time the cottage was ready. Milk in fridge and cake waiting for us.

The location was excellent. Lovely cottage and thoughtful additions for the dog. Also, we appreciated the welcome gift of a cake. Really helpful host. We would book this cottage again.

Location was beautiful; cobbled hill side village; idealic . We were at a wedding up at Gibson mill - all worked really well !
Super tea room / cafe across the road and friendly pubs !
Nothing really ; cars on the cobbles early morning woke me but, not much anyone can do about that !!!

Location good. Very pretty. Lots of walks. Lots of places in hebden bridge.
Coming from living in a very quiet cul de sac I found the cottage quite noisy when trying to have a lie in on holiday. Also heard passing traffic in the night and groups of people leaving the pub. Some people may not even notice this but for me there was too much noise in the bedroom to get a really good nights sleep.
4.5
Good location with pubs, shop and cafe close by.
Great bus service from Hebden Bridge (walked down) with the stop close to the cottage.
Cottage well finished with all equipment you could want.
Rear patio doesn't get any sun and is tiny, but thanks for trying.
Full length mirror would be useful.
Low doorways, but plenty of warning signs.

Very clean and maintained to a good standard. Cottage was well located for amenities such as walks, pubs, cafe and local bus service.
Steep stairs.

A lovely little cottage beautifully renovated to a high standard with lots of nice thoughtful touches. Well appointed and very clean. Situated in the heart of old Heptonstall, a remarkable well preserved historic village perched on the hillside above Hebden Bridge. Apart from the Bronte connection it equals Haworth in every way.
Nothing not to like.
3.5
Great location. Compact cottage with everything needed for base for walking and exploring the area. Good sized bathroom.
The bedroom and the 2nd floor had even more restricted headroom than we had imagined. No room to stand up at any point and the spiral staircase was not easy to use with uneven foot treads. With the bathroom on the 1st floor it was not ideal for anyone needing to use the bathroom during the night.
4.5
Everything is to a high standard including the fantastically thick towels but it enhances rather than diminishes the traditional nature of the cottage. Right in the heart of a fascinating village the cottage gives easy access to walks and the splendour of the Calder valley. The hosts are very helpful but not at all intrusive.

Cottage was exceptionally clean and all home comforts provided including a lovely cake and milk for us and treats for our dog on arrival. The cottage was a little haven of luxurious tranquility in a village steeped in history, wonderful walks and stunning. A must for dog owners- dogs are very welcome both in Heptonstall and nearby Hebden Bridge. Will definitely visit again.
Absolutely nothing
