Locatie en zwembaden geweldig, appartement viel tegen.

2 kamer appartement Alfagar Village, heel ruim, erg schoon en heerlijke bedden. Ontbijtbuffet is voor 3 sterren goed, genoeg variatie. Zwembaden geweldig mooi, perfecte locatie aan zee en restaurants op loopafstand.

Appartement was oud, kitranden badkamer oud, weinig sfeer, saai appartement. Navraag gedaan aan de receptie omdat de foto's totaal niet overeenkwamen met werkelijkheid, er blijken dus ook nieuwe opgeknapte appartementen te zijn. Overige dagen had ik het Alfagar Aparthotel appartement prestige geboekt, die was geweldig mooi en luxe en zelfs goedkoper. Alleen ontbijt was hetzelfde, dit vonden wij niet 4sterren waardig. Ontbijtbuffet: warme gerechten zoals pannekoeken en roerei waren nog maar net lauw. Volgende keer niet village maar Aparthotel Prestige.

Fabulous places great if you have kids and the amount of pools and activities for them day and night

How clean and respectful everything was the apartments were clean twice did not expect that on our last 2 night we did have banging by other people on the door and the folling night the were shouting and a lot of noise from a party.

We eat in the cafeteria and I was so disappointed that I paid €1.50 for one piece of butter and we got 2 and was charged €3.00 for this which we did not use only one and for bread we were also charged €3.00 we were asked if we would like some bread to which we said yes not knowing we were going to be charged for this and when I asked I was told yes yes here in portugal we charged for everything you ask for it you pay for it but we were asked if we wanted it. It was expensive enough food was nice but €6 for bread and butter was a lot. And in your shops everything was so expensive like a little tub of jam was 50c my god and a pot of jam was €5 a bit much. There's was ants in the apartments which were sprayed the view from the room was not great as I was looking right out at a roof top with a solar panel I think on it. Not great it said garden view this was not garden view this was a view of the roof.

Disposition du buffet du restaurant l'Oliveira mal agencée au vu du monde.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage, großzügig gebaut und tolle Lage. Etwas zu laut (Animation, viele Kinder)

Das Appartment ist enorm großzügig. Die Betten waren super bequem, alles sehr sauber und ein sehr guter Standard.

Wir wollten Ruhe und um uns herum waren sehr dicht viele Familien mit Kindern, die auch über die Balkone in die Unterhaltung gingen. Das war etwas nervig, da die Balkone sehr dicht nebeneninander waren und auch direkt in unser Schlafzimmer schallte. Ausschlafen ging nicht so gut.

lovely,clean, well equipped apartment overlooking a small beach.Beautiful sea view and nice well kept gardens. Pleasant, friendly, helpful staff.

Only one thing, which wouldn’t affect too many people! several cats wandering around the gardens. I have a phobia!!!

Nice Stay

Nice resort, plenty of pools to explore and also and indoor pool in case weather is not great. The Village has its own supermarket with all the basic stuff, an ATM, restaurants and even a car hire company. Breakfast was good, providing fresh fruit, different type of bread, dairy products, pastries and full Irish breakfast.

Even though they are doing works on the resort, some parts looks a bit run down. Steps to the beach are quite uneven but you can take this as charming as well!

Certainly, I'd be happy to provide some additional information about my experience at Alfagar Village Resort. In terms of the room, I found it to be very clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. As for the pool, there were enough to choose from, including a heated pool that was not very crowded, which was great. And finally, the location of the resort was also very convenient, with beautiful views of the sea from our room. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Thank you for asking about my stay at the resort. While I had an overall enjoyable experience, there were a couple of things that I didn't like. One of the things that I found slightly disappointing was the breakfast buffet. Although the food was good, having the same menu every day for a week became a bit monotonous. Perhaps including some Portuguese local breakfast food in the menu could be a nice addition and provide a new experience for international guests. Another issue I encountered was with the bathroom. Specifically, I noticed that there was no proper drainage in the bathroom of my apartment. As a result, when water spilled on the floor, it remained there for a long time, which was not very pleasant. It would have been better if the bathroom had proper drainage to avoid this problem.

Not worth the money. Pictures on site do not match reality.

Rude receptionist (Paula) on check in. Moved 3 times finally to a room with sea view which is what we booked and expected. Heater in kids room would not shut off had to call maintenance to fix. Pools were not heated. Laundry is 2 small machines for whole resort? Piled up rubbish in some areas. Resort is tired, old and dated.

Enjoyable stay, would consider coming back

Breakfast was good but a bit repetitive if you stay for a week. We originally booked an apartment with garden view but had an issue with it so were moved to an apartment with sea view, what a treat! The staff were generally friendly and willing to help. Lovely beach (accessible by a flight of stairs from the resort) and an enjoyable small indoor swimming pool. Half board was really useful with a toddler but dinner should open at 6pm rather than 6.30pm. The food, at dinner, was ok and varied, not mind-blowing, but it was a good on-site option for tired littles ones.

Could do with a bigger laundry - only one washer and one dryer for the whole resort so it would be constantly busy during peak season. Could do with a sponge and some washing liquid in the kitchen (you don't really want to buy this on a one week holiday). Parking was fine off peak (March) but I bet it becomes a challenge during peak season.

Beautiful setting, very relaxing, well-maintained and attractive resort

Beautiful location on the cliff top with easy access to a gorgeous beach. Comfy beds, pretty landscaping, very clean apartment, unexpected sea view from the balcony. Our children loved the pools and the beach. We were there in March so it was quiet (which suits us) but not too quiet.

The service in the restaurant was hit and miss and the food was ok not amazing, but it was fine for us as we were self-catering.

Very good value for the price.

View from balcony was beautiful. The beach was lovely. The grounds of the resort are beautiful.

Free wifi wasn’t great. We could have paid for upgraded wifi but chose not to do it. If we return we will pay for it next time.

Very good

Location is simply amazing, especially if you hire a sea view apartment. Beach is only 5 minutes walking. There is a supermarket and several restaurants and swimming pools (two of them heated) in the resort. Albufeira is a nice starting point to visit the Algarve.

Just outside my apartment bedroom, it was located an A/C external unit. I like to sleep with the window open to hear the sea waves but the noise generated by this external A/C unit was a bit disruptive, so I had to keep the window closed.

Great place… i wish i went over summer!

unfortunately I went over winter time and alot of facilities were closed (kids club, kids pool, cafeteria, etc), but I still i rate it as very good place s, great location, beach around the corner, parking place, clean and very helpful people. for a couple of bucks i got sea view apartment and it was lovely! very good for money!

The idea of an indoor pool is that is supposed to be warm, which is not the case! Checkin/checkout is still done like in the last century.

Great location. Value for money

Location is great. Beach is fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Good restaurants on site and resort is well maintained.

The apartment had few issues. Beds were not so comfortable and apartment was too close to a restaurant that had live music until late night. So it was little difficult if you are tired and want to sleep early. Also the curtain on the kitchen was quite transparent and people passing by could easily see in to the apartment.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. There’s convenient access to a beautiful beach. The restaurants offered good food. Our apartments were clean and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice family hotel

Hotel is very clean, with plenty to do for families and children. The indoor pool was excellent to have as we stayed in November when it was too cold for the outdoor pool or the beach. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options.

All the staff were excellent other than the receptionist who tried to charge me €50 for a transfer to Algarve Shopping as he said it was "very far away" but its not, it's maybe 15 minutes and we paid €30 return in a standard taxi. Other than thag everything was excellent
