Bar areas good and coffee lounge very very good
For price charged, parking should be included and breakfast a little cheaper.
Asked for a quiet room, but we're almost directly above main entrance on main road side. Was noisy until after 1am

Great location, comfortable rooms.
The toilet in our room often didn’t flush fully but I think this is going to happen in old, big buildings.

Old fashioned but elegant room. Clean and very comfortable
Dining room is very bland. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and the dining experience should reflect that. Too much like a rather ordinary cafe.
No it all reception staff were up to the mark. Greeting a 70 year old with “are you alright?” Is not good enough.

Staff and food was good
Perfect location
It's an old building, but some things were overlooked:
Shower partition door was siliconed in, but not attached. Door needed banging in to stop leaks onto the floor. Sink was cracked, and bath stained
Fixed the TV signal due to a bad connection into the wall.
Shower doused me in cold water initially... Unable to switch from bath to shower without being in the bath.

Very nice hotel , great size bed , amazing breakfast , right in the town ., parking to the rear .

The location of the hotel is very convenient for the city centre. The main parts of the hotel are beautiful and suggest greater luxury than you subsequently discover when you get to your room. The biscuits were tasty and in fairness it was a comfy bed. The apartment would be ideal for someone staying for work purposes.
For the price we paid, I expected a lot more especially as the hotel bigs itself up as a boutique type place. I travel for work and stayed in a budget chain hotel recently which was similar in terms of feel/quality. The bathroom was tired and smelt bad. One of the larger towels had a stain on it that looked like someone had cleaned their shoes with it - we reported it to reception who seemed non plussed. The newsletter/ information paper left in the room was very creased and crumpled which did not give a good impression. Details matter!

Rooms were well equipped, large king size bed was comfortable
Good location for all amenities in the area
Rooms very warm and unable to open window fully. Bathroom needs refurbishment
Bar area dusty and needed a good cleaning

Food
Dinner was good
Breakfast was good
South facing room was unbearably hot. Small fan not really helpful. A hotel of this price and classification needs to be able to deliver rooms that are not unbearably uncomfortable in warm weather.
Web site out of date referring to March menu

Comfortable bed -' mirror above plug points - staff extremely friendly and helpful
Complete lack of storage/shelving facilities in bathroom
The entire room and bathroom are In serious need of redecoration
Room was far too warm - Sash windows looked so aged - was afraid to open
Issues with toilet flushing
For the amount of money paid complimentary toiletries were severely lacking
Each morning 6.20 am huge noise from heating or ventilation system
Coffee and tea facilities very basic
Overall not good value for money
I would not stay here again nor could I recommend hotel

the atmosphere and decor
mislead about the evening meal which was bar food and we were entertaining friends. we were led to believe the restaurant food was available . the breakfast was ok . the poached egg was hard and Luke warm . our booking was questioned

Convenient location
Bath drain blocked so had to shower standing in 3 inches of water.
One of the water glasses had not been cleaned properly with a crusty substance on the rim
Toilet seat did not stay up
Curtains had come away from retainer at one end.
Welcome letter wasn't very welcoming, telling you more about what you couldn't do and the subsequent penalty (£100 for losing a key for example)
At £160 per night just for the room, it was poor value for money.

Comfortable bed and quiet location.
IIt was a little stressful finding the car park and I was worried there wouldn't be a space.
The heated towel rail needed to be switched on externally but I wasn't told this, also the radiator in my bedroom didn't work.

Location excellent customer service very good. Friendly staff and very helpful.
A lot of pigeons outside the window, very noisy from 4am.

I was blown away with how beautiful the Green dragon hotel is. Our room was so cosy, we booked a apartment suite so I could work. I couldn't believe how much room we had. The hotel went above and beyond for us. Leaving a beautiful card and gift for my partners birthday. I would highly recommend the stunning green dragon hotel to anyone. Our dinner was outstanding, the gluten free option are incredible more options than I've seen anywhere else. Will definitely be back soon
We found we didnt have much tea, sugar, milk, coffee in our room. How ever the reception staff where more than happy to give us as much as we needed. Plus a two minute walk around the corner of the hotel you can find tesco. If there's anything else you need.

The building and its decor is stunning, characterful & charming.
It's exceptionally clean, comfortable and all round gorgeous.
There were very little signage to help find our room.

The hotel was quirky, it also had a restaurant and bar you could go too.The room we had, had everything from hair dryer, iron and ironing board also little bottles of smellies. It was close to Hereford Cathedral, also near bars, shops and restaurants.
The room did have tea and coffee facilities but no spoons. The only thing we didn't like was that you had to pay for the parking, also it was first come first serve. We couldn't park in the last space that was available because a large car was over the line so we couldn't park in the space so we had to park next to another car which didn't have lines.

Lovely quaint hotel with spacious rooms.

As we stayed for the Christmas weekend to visit family, we weren't at the hotel much and stayed on a room-only basis. It was very central which is what we needed on this occasion and the accommodation was pleasant and practical enough in terms of cleanliness, space and comfort, Given it's an old building, it has some nice charm and character.
Despite all the lamps in the room, it still felt quite gloomy and the bathroom lighting was especially dim. We didn't really need the TV but when we did give it a go, some functions were limited. Some banging of doors from other guests but that's not unusual when staying in a hotel. Think it was a bit over-priced, especially as we were room-only, but that may have also been down to staying over Christmas as well as it's central location.

very central for visiting Hereford city and surrounding area attractions
was cold building, but the rooms were ok with extra heater

Old, interesting feel to the hotel despite it having lovely modern facilities. Very central.
Had to check out unexpectedly due to one of the children being unwell. Staff offered to refund our second night despite checking out at 9pm. More than generous.
