Precisely what we were looking for.

Great access arrangements made the logistics of checking in and out simple. Everything needed was in the room and it was very convieniantly located for town.

The room temp’ was a bit too warm for me. Maybe some form of thermostat control would help.

Fine enough for a short stay when you don't need great rest

Location was good and staff (though never present on site) were reachable and helpful. The location was good as it was a short ten minute or so walk into the center of the rather lively town.

It was definitely a "value" stay and the beds were far from comfortable. Moreover walls were very thin, which mattered when other guests came in late, which happened every weekend night until about 2 am.

Good value overnight stay accomodation

Very clean room with a comfortable bed, excellent large bathroom and good off-road parking, and also very quiet considering the location on a quite busy street.

We booked 2 rooms but the twin room was sparsely supplied with coffee/tea etc. A minor quibble but after a long day/night at a wedding it was needed.

our stay was grand.

Parking was £20 included in the cost. It's a 10-15minute walk to city centre. Great to have the big parking yard. Table and chairs on the lawn out back if one wanted to eat outside.

Bed was way too soft. Finishing touches to bathroom could be a lot better. Breakfast not included.

Beds were comfortable, bedside lights, good sized bathroom

Access was difficult with steep narrow stairs so we had to leave luggage in the car. Booked as bed and breakfast then told no breakfast. Shower over bath not easy to get in and out of. Fan not working in the bathroom and windows locked.

Great city, found a good Italian restaurant. Kidson House was perfectly fine for what it was.

Clean and tidy, good welcome and help during stay.

Noisy location as on a main road into town and lots of people walking past on way home from town. Rear rooms are much quieter being protected from the noise.

Really nice room. Thank goodness there was tea, coffee and biscuits in the room as there wasn’t breakfast.

Comfortable room with a great balcony , was very quiet and close to the centre , very friendly and welcoming staff

Sandwich menu in the room when theres no sandwiches but i believe this has been sorted , also tv a bit small

Well priced option for the area with good hosts!

All the staff we met were amazing and lovely especially the owner and her 2 dogs. Bathrooms were good and the rooms were spacious and spotless Parking was good at the venue.

For us the only issues were the small TV and the bed not the most comfortable. Althought this may seem minor, for us, when staying away these are more important. Road outside was fairly busy in the day but quiets down a bit by night.
