Like home cooked food. Nutritious and tasty
Nothing in particular

We did like the service but unfortunately the food was a bit new to us and the way the staff prepared the food, hospitality was great, and the room was big enough for 3 people to stay. The doggies were very cute.
The problem with the hotel was that the room did not have enough ventilation. The rooms were dingy with no sunlight. We could not open the curtains because there were many insects especially lizards and tadpoles. The hotel is the costliest in Amritsar city but they do not provide pick up and drop off to the airport free of cost. It is 1600 rupees one way. Food is also very costly to eat at the hotel. Booking.com showed total as 41193 INR but then the hotel people added taxes and said total as 48873 INR. This is not done. We did not like this.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property is maintained well and is very beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and offer luxury.
The food options can have more variety and if swimming pool can be added in future
4.5
Very friendly and hands on staff. A homely feel, will do everything to make your experience better.

Decorations, building, the hotel looks like a real museum. Staff and their dog all are very friendly.
AC could be better , no insect protection on the windows
4.5
The hotel is beautiful with old-world charm and lots of attention to details.
The bed was huge and comfortable.
Staff is nice and attentive, also helping us with transport to the border ceremony after a taxi canceled on us. A huge thanks to their driver, Hans, who answered our endless questions about daily life in the area.
We had to stay quite a while after checkout and it wasn't a problem to sit in the various public àreas and order lunch.
Only thing was that we arrived early, and even though our room was ready- they wanted an extra charge for early check in. It's normal but not necessary...
4.5
Beautiful old mansion with great feeling of “old India “. Lovely staff especially the driver. Great trip to the border crossing. Nice breakfast.
A lot of the experiences on offer were not available or required prior booking- this could have been better communicated. The place would benefit from de cluttering.

it was quaint and the location was so convenient.

Ranjit’s Svaasa is a very comforting place to stay in the midst of Amritsar. From check-in to departure, everything was exceptional, including the staff, room, and food. The building is very historical and it was interesting to learn about the background.

Authentic Indian residence in quiet location in a busy city. We loved it!
All very good
3.5
The ambience is great. Its an old haveli in the middle of Amritsar, a quiet and beautiful retreat and so well designed. The staff is attentive, courteous and very helpful.
Considering their charges, their breakfast was really below par and they can do a much better menu for the same.
The pillows are hard and sleeping is pretty uncomfortable..please get softer pillows

it’s a lovely property, unique and the staff are excellent . it feels like you are a guest in a home , which I suppose in a way it is as it is an old Haveli .
4.5
The property is a beautiful family home steeped in history. I loved how family pictures bring alive the family history. The place is charming & great for anyone who likes old world charm

it was beautiful and had a very nice vibe to it
Rooms were not heated enough

the decor of the place was fabulous and very tastefully done up and the location was good too
lukewarm water and which was not hot enough for the cold weather

Hospitality, guidence around the city & the location
2.5
Breakfast was far from organic with a limited range and canned juice. Location was OK.
Our stay at Ranjit Svasa was disappointing. The rooms had a dank, musty odour and plumbing was ancient. The private sit out turned out to be a sitout in a passage.
Quite overpriced for its rooms and services and the hype about staying in a 'haveli' rather hollow.

it’s an authentic Indian/Punjabi property with fabulous greenery. we thought the food in the dhabas was going to be more authentic than the hotel. how wrong were we. we are sarso saag & maki ki roti on our first day & it was the best Roti & saag we’ve had. not to forget tarka daal
nothing to complain tbh

This was our second stay and we still like everything! The reception, location, rooms, the building, staff. This time we had breakfast and loved it too!
That we can't go to Amritsar often enough to go and stay there always!

Exceeded expectations. Lovely food and staff

Quality of food and location.
Customer support in terms of hiring vehicles for travel. They are keen to keep their taxi company contact happy than being fair to their customers.
