Friendly staff, very clean and lovely food. Free parking and good location for Ashby. Bottled water available for the room.
Due to the nature of the old building, it was a bit noisy with some passing motorbike traffic as the window is an old sash/single pane style. Ear plugs a must if you're a lighter sleeper.

Excellent service and very friendly. We visited from Australia and would gladly stay here again and will on our next trip

The staff were friendly and very helpful 😊

Food was great.
Room to small for a double bed. And bed to soft, with two people in the bed spent most the night trying not to full of the side of the mattress.
4.3
Friendly reception and stay. Good quality food, a nice place to stay with extra parking across the road.
Not much!

Staff were really good and very attentive and food couldn't fault. Also the fridge on the landing with water is really good.
Room 2 didn't live up to expectations from seeing the room pictures online.

Quirky, As the saying goes don’t judge a book by it’s cover. It came as a bit of a surprise to find that in this day of all day opening that the Bulls Head actually shuts on a Sunday afternoon, but it didn’t take long for our hosts to answer the door.
food was freshly cooked to order and the staff were extremely helpful
The modern touches to an old building are extremely helpful usb plug sockets, spacious shower, shampoo, body wash & hand soap provided
Nice size mug for your Tea/Coffee & Biscuits!!!

Delicious food, spacious room and great location!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bottled water was available from a fridge on the landing, you just help yourself. Parking was a doddle, either at the front of the pub or down the side on a large car park provided for the parish hall.
The cooked breakfast was a feast in itself, fantastic!
The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.
We will definitely stay here again .

Well love Beaumaris, that helps! But the hotel room was pleasantly comfortable in a lovely old building, real character to it! We overlooked the main street but it was quiet, is Beaumaris ever noisy? Having lived here in my student days I knew what to expect of the town, quaint, clean, individual shops, choice of restaurants good. The Hotel itself offers everything bar, restaurant, character and pleasant staff!
Nothing not to like. I love old historical pub/hotels.

nice pub with great staff

The food was really good and certainly value for money. The staff were able to assist in my request for food that I could eat due to my medical condition while still serving my wife with the full English breakfast that she ordered. Our friends come over for a meal in the evening and it was really good but it now means that we'll have to come back so that I can taste it once I've recovered

Really liked the friendly atmosphere, the landlord Dave was great and very helpful. Dinner options where a plenty and the food was great and not overpriced. Breakfast in the morning was really good, nice home cooked feel and they couldn't do enough for me.
All the staff where great, room was great, clean and bed was comfy.
I stay away weekly stopping in some high end hotels and I can honestly say I'll remember this little gem for years to come!
I was staying for work so not sure I'll be back again however I will recommend anyone staying near Ashby to take the extra few miles and stop here.

The lady who greeted me was very nice and very kind and the warm welcome was just what i needed after a long day at work.
The room was very comfortable.
The food was execeptional.
Couldnt have been better the whole package - very impressed.
The shower facility could be better but wasnt bad.

The room was tastefully furnished and decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
4.3
The staff were very attentive and helpful at check in, dinner and breakfast. The room was exactly as posted on Booking.com, comfortable bed, very clean and tidy with great food, especially dessert.
Only critique would be with the shower. The shower position and size of the screen meant water was going across the floor, no matter how careful we were.

Room was spotless, bed was like sleeping on a cloud, waterfall shower was devine. David was an exceptional host he went above and beyond for us. Free refrigerated water as much as you like was a lovely touch. We had a 3am checkout and breakfast sandwiches were left for us to have at the airport. Breakfast on the other 2 mornings were lovely. Loved our stay and will return when visiting family again. We stayed in a standard double which was perfect for us as we just laid our heads there. If you like a more spacious room the deluxe is definitely worth the money, the other couples ended up having to book the deluxe.
Nothing at all.
