Exceptional

Joanne is so friendly and welcoming. I stay there every year.

Love everything. It is good value for money but as all accommodation the prices have really shot up over the past year.

Superb

The host was lovely and helpful. It was clean, great location two minutes from town center and beach. The beds were nice and comfortable.

There's no extractor fan or windows in the en suite bathroom

I would stay here again

The owners let me drop my case off early on request. They were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast was lovely.

Stayed 3 nights in January 2022. covid precautions had been put in place but this did not prevent a welcoming experience from the Hosts. it is 2nd time I have been here and will not hesitate to use Fairways again. I can not comment on the breakfast because I did not take that option. Room spotless and well serviced daily. lovely strong hot shower. if I could have sneaked the bed out in my suitcase I would have done it was so comfortable. no problems getting to sleep and no noise disturbance either

A Very safe friendly comfortable environment.

Great hosts very kind and helpful. Beach was only a 10 minute walk and the high street was a 5 minute walk. One room got loud at one point but the hosts where very fast to fix the problem which was excellent

A hidden Gem

It was so clean and the location was spot on. The price was amazing. Joanne and Darren were perfect hosts we we will be back next year thank you 😊

Very good

Overall I was very happy with my stay. What I didn't like above personally were only minor niggles. Room was impeccably clean and tidy and was cleaned every day. A good size room, more than enough for me as a solo traveller. Plenty of storage. Bed was very comfortable. The host couldn't be more helpful and happily answered my queries. Well located to Newquay town centre and only 15 min walk to Fistral beach (where I spent most of my time). Covid procedures in place helped me feel more comfortable. Although road was noisy and had to shut windows so I wasn't woken too early, there was a ceiling fan in the room which kept it cool.

I was in a room at the front of the property facing the street. So, the room could have done with some privacy curtains as en suite wasn't particularly big enough to change comfortably in. Road out front was a little too noisy with the windows open first thing (steep hill that vehicles drive up in low gear). So not the easiest when I tried to sleep in.

First time in Newquay

Great location and room very clean and comfortable the host Joanne was lovely and very helpful. The room is cleaned daily and towels changed often tea and coffee every day would recommend had a lovely holiday with my daughter.

Perfect

Location, parking nearby, clean comfortable room. Lovely proprietor so friendly and helpful. Great hot breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Water was always hot for shower. Fan above beds was a godsend when it was hot. Will definitely stay there again.

Not worth the money

Location that’s all

The room was very small you could only just walk around the bed there was a small table and 2 chairs in the window recess but you couldn’t pull the chairs out far enough to be able to sit down . The bathroom was tiny after showering we had to come out into the bedroom to be able to get dried at £90 a night with no food included I would expect a much better room it said sea view we overlooked what I can only describe as back yards I would not recommended anyone stay there it’s awful we will not be returning again
