We had unit 3 which faces South, with view from bedroom of Mount Teide in Tenerife.
A nice orchard of fruit trees and bee hives surrounds the spacious artificial grass-covered garden, where you can eat & sunbathe if the weather is right.
Large ground floor garden room which gets sun during the day.
The owner left some fruit and water for us.
The property description does not make clear that unit 3 has on the ground floor only a garden room with no tv. The bedroom and small kitchen and small bathroom with a tiny shower cubicle are accessed via a steep fairly narrow 15-step stairway with no handrail.
No hot water in bathroom or kitchen sink.
Being 400 ft above sea level, the prevailing NE wind is very noticeable, especially at night.
Set in a run-down, partly agricultural neighborhood with many dogs barking for long periods, especially during the day.
There are some crude dog kennels in an adjoining field (right next to unit 4) housing several hunting dogs which bark for long priods.
The finca is a long way from the centre of San Sebastian town, down a steep slope. No restaurants, cafés, bars or open shops nearby.
Having a car is essential.

Unterkunft, Vermieter alles super ABER....

Very nice patio, very friendly host who was generous in sharing his produce (fruit and honey), nice neighbours, lovely lemon grove, use of washing machine
There was not enough hot water for the shower and the bed was too hard. The towels were old and could do with replacing. No hot water tap in the kitchen and no kettle.

Breakfast not provided, not included.
Location was fabulous….for us. We walk a lot and walking into San Sebastián was no problem for us. We also rented a car in order to see the island , we would recommend the same for other guests although there did seem to be buses travelling everywhere. We loved the beautiful garden sitting area amongst the hosts lovely trees and bee hives.(on arrival there were some fabulous juicy mangos and some of the hosts award winning honey waiting for us on the table) wi fi was very fast and reliable, parking on the property secure and private.
Everything exceptionally clean and in good order, free washing machine available. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Sometimes dogs barking, howling nearby at night. we recognise this can be a common feature in Spain and accept it as not really a problem that any one can fix….you soon get ‘a bit used to it ‘
Our only thing that we could put on a wish list is a little bit bigger shower,…. it’s a bit cramped / awkward to wash without banging yourself, sloshing water out, getting the cold curtain on your back etc. A big person could really struggle we think.

oh this is a little hidden gem. the view! everthjng was clean
it was a little spooky returning at night because it’s very dark and there is no one around. not really a criticism but it was dark, quiet and remote. but I really did love the view and all father beautiful flowers

This applies to the 'one bedroom house', one of the three apartments available. Host is very welcoming and helpful. A lot of space: big first floor bedroom (comfortable twin beds), small kitchen attached (not state-of-the-art but reasonably well equipped), small bathroom attached (shower, toilet, sink). Pleasant shared seating area downstairs, surrounded by a small orchard. View over neighbouring houses (not a densely populated area, has a rural feel to it) with Teide in the background.
It's a ways out of the town centre, without easy access to restaurants and shops (not a problem if you have your own car). I found the shower cubicle too small for comfort. San Sebastian can be quite windy, noticeably so some nights (I'm a light sleeper). Energy-saving light bulbs are all 'daylight white', while living spaces should really have 'warm white'.

Very kind host, nice (fruit) garden with banana, mango and papaya trees. Nice wind still areas to sit outside in the sun. Antonio also regularly gave us fresh fruit from the farm to eat.
The bed in the main bedroom was a bit hard for our taste.

The organic garden & our outside area. We were in apartment 2.
On arrival our hosts Clara & Antonio gave us fruit from their garden, a bottle of local wine & a jar of their award winning honey. All were delicious.
Antonio was a perfect host. Very friendly & helpful. Enjoyed the tour of the organic garden.
Convenient parking.
When we booked we didn't know the bathroom leads off from the main bedroom in apartment 2. As my friend had this bedroom it was inconvenient for me. Had to use the potty a couple of times so I didn't disturb him!!
We also didn't know at the time of booking this finca consists of 3 apartments. Fortunately we had quiet neighbours.
The noisy dogs at night although this is not the owners fault. Take earplugs!!

Beautiful secluded gardens, and a generous helpful host.
no dislikes

lovely garden setting run by ecologically conscious who raise most of their own food
isolated location with little immediate cultural amenities
