Top stylishes (Midcentury Stil) Hotel.

It was a fun hotel and if you needed anything, you text the concierge who is very responsive. Ice is by text, plus an iron even though there's a steamer in the room (good for a holiday break, not great for a work visit). I loved that they had a kettle, again booked by concierge! Good breakfast at the Owl (forgotten the full name) on the same complex. The pool bar is great, but as with many places in Phoenix, closes at 9pm. The roof top bar is open though, but only at the end of the week, so check out opening times. The rooms were lovely, just my kind of deco. Staff were excellent. A good stay but maybe not for business travellers.
To the west, the area is more downtrodden, but to the east, there is a lovely shopping area with a fantastic store (about 3/4 mile away).

I was surprised at how nice it was for the price I paid. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It is next to a pool park (not included) that is well appointed. The staff was really nice. The shower was unexpectedly wonderful.
My only complaint is that it is impossible to locate. Although it is where Google maps says it is. There is no outdoor lighting and the hotel has more than one name and the one I used was not at street level, but at top of building. It looked closed except it had a popcycle store lite up. I stopped hoping to get directions and it was their lobby.

Love they have so much on property and a jacuzzi!!!
Loved it all!

Clean
It’s not a serious hotel. The safe didn’t work, no coffee available, staff wasn’t available for checkin or check out. Water pressure was low.

Everything & everyone:)

Hip hotel, lively pool. Decent food, good cocktails - but the popsicles are the bomb.
Comfortable room and great balcony
Some water leakage in connecting hallways

Fabulous funky, imaginative and friendly
No night light, so had to leave the bathroom light on -small thing, but when you are tired and in new surroundings, a soft glow to help find the loo is really helpful! And, the AC was noisy, but we were so tired, it didn’t worry us.

We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of this little place. You never know what you'll get in an "older" part of a city... but we loved the funky retro vibe, the bathroom supplies (including robes!), very comfy bedding, landscaping and friendly casual communications! The outdoor bar next door was great and we enjoyed hanging out under the misters for a couple hours before bed.

The hotel is superb with its fantastic location, making it very accessible to guests. Plus, it is an elegant and upscale establishment that provides great comfort and convenience. Its overall ambiance is impressive and will undoubtedly make any stay a memorable one.

Super cute and trendy
I loved everything about it

Loved the pool area with all the cabanas, the attached coffee shop (Cartel Coffee - tasty concoctions), the whimsical & colorful mid-century interior design, my balcony and the record collection & record player in the room.
no coffee service inside the room, no tub.

Drinks at bar were great. Food was delicious. Check in was amazing and super unique which I loved. Popsicles so good!
Servers can be more service oriented (Bringing napkins and making sure you don’t have to ask for ice water. No record player in room but they brought one up! Don Woods was closed.

it was very clean and a nice style and environment
there wasn’t much that I didn’t like

Staff was very accommodating. I had an extra night that I needed to stay and the manager was able to work around things so I didn’t lose my room. The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and beautiful.
Parking could be bigger.

Cool vibe; nice room; early checkin and late check out; pool and pool bar area; welcome popsicle; rooftop bar
paying for parking - I mean c'mon the hotel price is enough; that we came on a night when the rooftop bar wasn't open!
3.0
Lovely pool area to relax in at the end of the day. Room quiet and comfortable.
Excellent Changing Hands bookstore next door.
Pretty residential neighborhoods nearby.
Easy access to Valley Metro and bus line.
Location was a challenge in some ways. Didn’t feel safe after dark as a solo female traveler. Main streets unappealing and few neighborhood amenities.
Room amenities were peculiar- in room coffee is much nicer than some record player with random selection.
Why are the toiletries still single use plastic bottles?
No obvious recycling anywhere on hotel grounds.
3.5
it was centered between our planned activity locations
The room we were assigned was directly below the roof top bar and footsteps constant until 1:30 am made it hard for sleeping

The bed was comfortable which is extremely important to me and they had Apple TV which after a long day of flying was nice to have to just curl up in bed and watch a movie.
I was just there between flights so all I did was get in bed and watch a movie. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have Apple TV. The two young woman at the front desk were extremely nice.

Staff was cheerful and tried to be helpful, but could not solve basic problems that were beyond their control.
Room was directly below the bar. No soundproofing so the ceiling was banging booming constantly. No in-room coffee maker or tea, no room service. TV did not work for first day. WiFi would not connect to laptop.
4.0
very cool, arredamento vintage, musica in vinile
roof top bar aperto solo da giovedì a sabato, no colazione, no clean up
4.5
comfy and clean room. private and great things to do around and at the location
5.0
clean, well kept.
Cartel Coffee seemed a little out of place with the rest of the staff. I think they need a cup!
5.0
the rooms were fun and colorful, like the fact there was a bar/restaurant so didn’t have to leave if we didn’t feel like going somewhere to eat. There was a roof top bar and a relaxing area near the restaurant to just play games and hangout.
