Comfortable, modern room in a great location in the old town of Vila do Conde. Gorgeous view overlooking the river and a tree-lined square.
The square was lively in the evening, which didn't bother us at all - we love to people watch - but a light sleeper might ask for an interior room.
The description called this hotel a "bed and breakfast" but there was no breakfast. Not a problem, as there's an inexpensive cafe around the corner.

4.0 / 5.0
O conforto e a localização.
A insonorização não é a melhor, ouve-se os barulhos de outros quartos e do restaurante localizado por baixo.
Podiam facultar gel de banho.

The location is good, and its clean and quite
There isn’t what you expect from a hotel, no drinking water no kettle, and the instructions to get your room wasn’t that welcoming

Great view
Quiet location
No reception on-site. Waited ~30 minutes for someone to arrive to allow us entry after calling. Messaged host about problem in bathroom and no reply within 24 hours.

No Breakfast availability.. This was a Room only accommodation unit
Perhaps having a permanent staff availability in situ.

The room is very pretty, very well decorated and good quality of materials.
The description of the property is misleading. When booking, the description stated “bed and breakfast” and “boutique hotel”. There wasn’t breakfast option and it wasn’t a hotel either. The room has an A/C machine but didn’t have a remote. The mini-bar informs of several beverage options but it didn’t have them all available.
Regarding communication, the host was responsive however at check-in, we had a lady coming in, open the building door, gave us a key and left. This is when we realized this wasn’t a hotel.
I would absolutely review all the amenities and description on Booking.com not to mislead guests. I think inside the property is so pretty, we’ll decorated and the description should reflect it so guest know exactly what to expect.

No staff (nobody) is available to address our concern/issues.
I arrived at hotel but the main was locked & we waiter for 45 mins.
I went to residence of one of the hotel staff to request for entry inside the hotel.
Checkin process is very pathetic.

I like very much the location.
The room decoration
The cleaning lady.
I did not like about not having a reception . At least have a phone that we could talk to a virtual receptionist. No air conditioner, refrigerator not working properly.

Friendly staff. Nice view to the river and garden!

The size of the room, the view and the bed was premium! The decor and the room were lovely
We didn’t had any shower gel in our room but my mum and dad had some in their room.
Our TV didn’t worked properly and the image was not working properly.
Not having a lift and parking can be terrible if you’re standing with elderly family members. And we had to walk 2km to get some breakfast.

We had a pleasant stay and the room was beautiful, clean and had the most stunning view of the river. The bed was also very comfortable and the hotel was in the perfect position.
The bathroom had a strange smell and the sink kept becoming incredibly blocked.

The location. I know Vila do Conde and the location is perfect. Near from the main bars and restaurants, it´s the perfect spot. It ´s a perfect stay if you are doing "El camino de Santiago". If you are driving a car, be aware it´s really difficult to get a place around the place for free, but there´s a parking area just on the side and not expensive - just 0.10€ per 15 min -and it´s open from 07.00 am until 01.00 am.
The room is nice and cosy with a great view from the room to the river. The shower is great and the bed is confortable.
The staff was really nice.
01. You can hear everything from the other rooms and from the corridor.
02. There´s no bidet as it says on the description. I don´t need the bidet but the discription is not correct.
03. There´s no shampoo on the toiletries, only soap. I asked for it thinking it was a mistake, but it´s not.
04. There´s no reception. The restaurant is the "reception".
05. There´s no breakfast.
05. There´s no phone on the room, In case you need to contact the "Hotel Reception" you will need to use your own phone.
