Superb

Great location in central Reykjavik, but quiet as at the back of the building.

No oven for cooking but we worked around it using the hob and microwave. Also no freezer.

Comfortable retreat within Reykjavik.

Close to many attractions including the rainbow street and Bus Stop #6 for excursions pick up and drop off. The play.

Lovely location, Cozy Pad, and Safe Central Apartment

I stayed at Next Apartment for my 3 day trip to Reykjavik from the US and I am so very glad I booked here! I was right in the heart of the action and could walk to every Tourist attraction that Reykjavik, Iceland has to offer. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating as well! Thank you for your flexibility and for being just a phone call away for all things during my stay. I would highly recommend Next Apartment for anyone looking for a cozy, safe, and central place to stay when they are in town!

Parking in from the building was quite expensive but this did not take anything away from from my overall experience. I was fine with paying for it for my few days trip.

Superb little gem!

First time travelling and staying somewhere abroad alone and this place made me feel really comfortable. Everything about it was great for me and given I booked last minute, I'm ok with the price I paid. The room I stayed in was a twin which had a little cooking area which was great for saving a little money. It came equipped with all the cutlery, pots, utensils you'd need, even a few spices and herbs in the cupboard. There's a little supermarket less than 2 min round the corner too! The bed is the best thing I've slept on in a while, wouldn't mind one at home 😅. It's soo comfy and warm which I was initially worried about as I feel the cold really easily, but that wasn't an issue. The heating is great too. I found I only needed to turn on the radiator by the bed on low for an hour and that was just fine. This was when the weather was between -2 and 4ish. The apartment was clean and tidy, everything was easy to use and what's more it is in a great location. I had friends staying elsewhere and the walk to their hostel wasn't too long. I could get into the centre of town within minutes and the BSÍ Bus Station in 15min, tops. As a result we walked anywhere we needed to in town and felt safe doing so too. I plan to visit again with my sister and will definitely look to book this place if it's available. I highly recommend it.

amazing location, perfect apartment with everything you need to make it memorable !!!

loved the fact he put in basic refreshments like tea, coffee, toilet rolls, oil, kitchen roll, salt and pepper and was all new and boxes so you could make tea and coffee the minite you walked in. also there was soap and shampoo with towels on heated rail and beds made up so was perfect

Very central, clean, has everything you need. Bed is super comfy, the coffee is a lovely highlight! The owner was really nice and responsive.

Nice holidays

The apartment is very comfortable and fully equipped with kitchen appliances, to let you cooking if needed. There is enough space for 2 people, and the host provides fresh bed sheets and towel, with also floor cleaning. The location is in the centre of Reykjavik, just in a parallel street in front of the main rainbow road (in front of the big church). The host is an absolutely kind and helpful person, he let us pay after the first day (as we went to a full day excursion), and was always available on SMS for communications.

I think could be the best to left all the useful information about check-out, house guide, cleaning, bed and towel change, written somewhere in the apartment, to avoid doubts and to let the guests know when the host/cleaner person will enter in the apartment (and avoid situations in which the host knocks on the door without warning several times during the stay).

location was great - close to bus stop #6 / Culture House, the host was very responsive to messages when we had questions, the apartment was big, clean and warm and had everything we needed

Great location

Fantastic location and great price. We stayed here for two nights before picking up a hire car from the city airport. Modern interior.

Loved staying there and woul definitely return.

The apartment was clean and spacious. . The bed was so comfortable. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Very minor problems. The blow drying attachment didn’t fit the hair dryer, so used it without. No plug for bathroom sink.

The location was perfect! Easy access to shops, bars, restaurants, and a short walk up to the church. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable as well!

Great location right by the city center, lots of restaurants/cafe and shops nearby without the inconvenience of the noise. The apartment was very clean and had everyhing we needed. We would definitely recommend !

Superb, clean excellent location.

The location is excellent, you are right in the centre and a 5 minute walk to the harbour. The apartment was really clean and everything you need is at hand. The facilities are excellent, hairdryer, hair straighteners, dishwasher and microwave etc. The host Sturla even left us coffee and extras in cupboard, such a nice touch. I would like to go back to Iceland and wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again.

The TV didn’t work but not really an issue.

Great location, and value

Very well located, but also out of the way of the drunk noise that happens in the city center on weekends. Sturla was responsive when there was an issue, and the apartment has the basics you need.
