Lots of room for friends and family to sleep and relax, convenient to downtown.

Thank you for allowing us to stay with my dog. The home had a great location and we had a lot of fun.

The place is as advertised. Tons of space, stocked kitchen, nice backyard for the dog.
Everything was easy to get in and ready for occupants.
It has the typical Leadville uniqueness that many houses have, which I love.
Place was great. Note that there is only 1 parking spot right there.

We had 5 adults and the house had plenty of room for all of us. Pet-friendly, with a fenced in backyard. Walking distance to town.

Absolutely loved the proximity to downtown and the wedding we attended at Freight — super walkable. The house was very clean and it was very easy to come and go. Check-in was easy too.
I’d really like to give 4.5 star rating. The only negatives were small and a little more attention to the property management would solve most. The batteries were dead in the Roku remote and one shower’s conditioner bottle was empty. I’m confident that I could have messaged about this during our stay and it would’ve been fixed. It just wasn’t that big of a deal. The downstairs queen bed sinks toward the middle and was comfortable; fortunately we were able to switch to the one upstairs which was awesome.
There were more beds in the house than I remember being advertised. (Not a bad thing.)
All in all, it was a very good stay. If we ever go back to Leadville, we would look into rebooking.

This was the perfect spot for our time in Leadville! I was in town to run the Leadville 100 and the location was ideal, just a few blocks from the starting line and easy access for my friends to come and go throughout the race as they moved to different locations to crew and support me. The layout of the house was great and fit our group perfectly. Next time we get to stay in Leadville, this house will be our first choice of accommodations!

I don't believe in "grade inflation," so my mid-range scores should not be interpreted as negative. This is not a luxury rental house - it was perfect for a group of six guys who came to raft, hike, and enjoy Leadville. I would have liked to check in early, but the property manager[?] said it would cost us $50.00. That might be my only complaint. Good rental, fair price.

we stayed here for 2 days and the location was perfect in walking distance to downtown. the house itself gave the feeling of an old vintage home. there was more sleeping space than i expected with a queen bedroom and a bunk bed room downstairs and then a king bed futon and another queen bedroom upstairs. beds were comfortable and everything was clean. washer and dryer worked fine . the decor was a mix of vintage and 80's . they had several tv's but we could only get the family room and downstairs bedroom to work which was fine. there was a small backyard fenced and my only complaint would be it really needed to be mowed. the kitchen was well stocked with a new refridgerator and an ice maker which was great. we really loved this little town . great museums and resturants to walk to . thank you

Washer, and Dryer works perfectly, There's a brand new refrigerator. The oven works perfect.. We had four adults in our group and one baby and we all slept very comfortably... The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.. Five stars and two big Texas thumbs up...

We were looking for a place close to family that lives in Leadville. The place is older, kind of eclectic, warm place to stay. Everything was very clean and it had what we needed. . We cooked together and played games, walked downtown and played in the snow. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fun and funky place to stay for a couple of nights. The kids loved the video games, boxed table games, abundance of curious books, and historic feel of the house. It is a family-friendly space as advertised. As a pleasant surprise, different than what is shown in the preview images, there is better furniture in the living room, and a booth-style dining area. The bedrooms are not conventional, but it worked fine for our family with plenty of beds from which to choose with five people. It was warm (heaters available in every room) and comfortable. It served our needs for a short get away to the mountains / small town. We appreciated the enclosed porch with benches for removing snow gear. It had sleds and boot driers available to borrow, too! Checking in/out was easy. Cleanliness as "ok" (not great but not terrible, either) since there was mildew in the shower and a few mystery spots on the wall we didn't notice until later, but it was otherwise tidy and ready for our visit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the accommodations with use of a full house and kitchen while away from home, and how it is set up with plenty of entertainment for the times between outings during the visit.

Enjoyable home with great location
Leadville is quirky, but in a charming way. This house is kind of the same: old, quirky, yet charming. Everything was clean, along with plenty of towels, linens, pillows, and even the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. I really liked how the back yard was fully enclosed for dogs. I would definitely choose this place again!

Location Location Location
This property is in such a great spot for walking downtown and going anywhere else you want to go. It is an older house with a steepish staircase that goes to the upstairs bedrooms that MIGHT NOT be appropriate for much older folks but the owners have done a great job of making sure that all handrails are in place and secure. If you have small children, the owners have baby gates that are available and easy to install across areas where you might not want little feet to travel. Such a great property and cute. Would definitely stay again.

Great place, no communication after arrival
I tried reaching out to the property management company multiple times, and got zero response. I didn't cause any major hitch in our plans, but was frustrating. They emailed me multiple times regarding different things, I responded to each email, one time even noting that I had never received a response on a previous email, and still got no response

Nice Functional Home in Leadville
It’s a great spot being 1 block off the main drag in Leadville. The mud room was perfect for ski gear and the kitchen and bedroom had everything we needed.

Very cute and comfortable, particularly for price. Surface areas very clean; a little more attention to small details needed.

Exceeded Expectations!
I wish I could give this place more than five stars. The home was beautiful, check in process was easy, and the location was absolutely perfect. We have already recommended this property to several friends, and we hope to visit again.

Still waiting to hear back
The reservation and check-in process was smooth. However, we were greeted with a moldy, body odor type smell when we opened the door to the main living area. We isolated the source of the odors to the couches and emailed the company and owner that day. No response. The smell wafted into the dining area making dinner and hanging out intolerable. One of the guests stated all the pillows she tried in her room also carried strong body odors, so she didn't sleep well. The stairs to the other bedrooms had a few sharp spots were the carpet is tacked down, so I avoided using them. That carpet also emanated strong odors. There's a broken window pane upstairs, a couple broken curtain rods, a swampy smell to the downstairs shower curtain, concerning stains on the walls, etc. Also, the arcade (which is a cool idea) doesn't work. I emailed multiple times the next day as well, and sent a text but no response. However, I did keep getting the owner's automated emails. Finally, I called the company later that morning but didn't really get an answer, and the operator sounded irritated. We checked out that day since we didn't want to spend another night there. I still haven't heard anything to address our concerns or try to find a resolution. I think if this place got a deep clean and face lift, it'd be great, especially with it's proximity to town. But as of now, I can't recommend it.
