Get away to the farm. Experience the country life spending the time fishing at the pond, relaxing on the front porch and listening to the crickets. However, it is only 5 minutes from downtown or the major shopping mall. If you do need some media, the living room has a throwback entertainment center with vinyls, cd's, dvd's cassettes. We also have wifi and a television. You can stream your service or watch Amazon Prime Fire TV on ours.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Loved listening to all the music, brought back some great stories and memories! The guys enjoyed fishing in the pond catching fish. Thanks again, we are going home with some great memories!

We grew up roughly in the area, and the home had a warm, inviting feel that just felt like places we’d grown up in. It was wonderful! And the sounds of the country at night was spectacular! Would stay again if and when the need arose!

We enjoyed our stay very much. This quaint farmhouse and property was just what we needed. Away from city but close enough to get delivery from Walmart and Door Dash. Cozy front porch and back patio perfect for sitting and enjoying sunrise and sunsets. Kitchen was equipped with all the utensils and gadgets ( even Crock Pots) needed to prepare meals. One of the beds is quite high. I am 5'9 and had trouble getting in,but,once I did,so comfortable! So,if you are short,might want to bring a step stool.😁 Wide variety of albums to play on the stereo and books to read in addition to DVD's and WIFI. Only drawback,Sister was disappointed that access to the pond for fishing,would involve a trek through tall grass to get to pond. Bottom line,would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was good and property pretty much as expected. No issues checking in or out. Would be nice if there was a grill on the property. All in all a good stay and did get to catch some fish in between our golf rounds.

Quiet, peaceful and quaint. Sweet and a bit old-fashioned in its furnishings, it will remind you of a country farmhouse. You really can “go home again” when you stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed for a fishing tournament on Pickwick and couldn’t ask for a a better host and house. The house was very clean and a great place to relax after a long day! We will definitely stay again when we come back!

Very nice place to stay. Nice and quiet and only 10 minutes away from town. It was alot of fun fishing out of the pond by the house. I will stay there again when i go back that way

We stayed here for a weekend of fishing after looking for a quiet place with access to local dining and waterways. The location was clean and we rested each night very well. The stay was perfect and we even got a little bonus fishing done in the beautiful pond next door. We had some unique requests regarding checkout and the host was responsive and accommodating. We will be back for sure.

We had two trucks and boats and had no issues parking both of them. Everything was very safe and we got to watch deer every night in the yard.

This was a very cozy stay and had all the amenities. The washing machine was out of order, but I did not need it anyway. I would stay, again. The owner was nice and amenable.

Most all was well. Could use better mattresses on beds. Bathroom on the small side,but it is an older home. Couch and chair old and worn out. Overall everything was usable just being truthful for fellow travelers.

Three night stay. The good - Loved the location, nice and quiet and cute cows were a bonus. Bedrooms were a decent size and beds were comfy. Nice selection of albums to play in the living room. That was fun. The not so good - tiny bathroom, couch was very uncomfortable, sinking in a few inches when seated. No response from host when asking questions. Cobwebs on fireplace and dust bunnies under the bed. Potential nice areas to sit on front porch and in the back, but no clean/nice seating was provided. Overall stay was okay. Some things to like, some not. This has the potential to be a really great place with just a few updates. Would give it another shot with updates and good cleaning.

We Enjoyed our stay, enjoyed having the amenities of home in a peaceful environment. Highlights included meeting Roscoe, and his fellow bovines, as well as setting on the back porch one night watching a high lightning storm in distance.

The Farm is close to everything the Shoals area offers but far enough away to feel secluded. We love listening to the rain on the tin roof of the back porch while watching the cows, deer and birds enjoy a summer evening. Nice place beds are a little small and soft for our taste but overall a great experience!

Our host was very responsive to our communications with him. The home and property are nicely kept. The fridge was stocked with breakfast foods and the kitchen had descent cookware. I've stayed at other places the the cookware and dished were thrift store cast offs. The only thing we noticed to the negative was the mattress in the front bedroom dips in the middle.

I loved every minute at this property. I am from the area. It was great to go back and visit and have such a magical place to stay. It was just the country peace my friend and I needed. It is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. There is a great selection of vinyl to play, if you know what's good. We fished in the pond. Love the cows, especially Roscoe the bull, my new buddy. I hope to stay here again. I got better rest than I have in a long time.
