The bathroom door needs attention

Friendly staff, brilliant location for our trip, very clean rooms and d excellent breakfast.
3.0
Good size room with lovely shower
Blinds didn’t keep out the floodlights for the carpark, needs thick curtains. Mattress was poor quality and pillows horrible. Food was a disappointment, not cooked well.
4.5
Clean and comfortable room. Bar and restaurant facilities were pleasant and staff welcoming and efficient.
2.0
Location, Friendly welcome, Parking, Overall First Impression.
Breakfast not included in price of accommodation and not offered even as a paid for option in the attached pub / restaurant.
Cleanliness of towels in bathroom
Window not able to open (no means of escape in event of fire blocking stairs to room)
4.0
Room was massive, modern and spotless. The staff was really helpful and there is ample secure parking. Great choice in the area (I was visiting a near by airfield)
The kitchen didn’t serve food after 7pm on Sunday when I arrived back. The room had an exit sign inside above the door which could not be turned off. This made falling asleep a little difficult. There was zero noise from the pub itself but there was some periodic mechanical noise that was prevalent at night.

Location perfect for what I needed, had an event nearby.
Trains didn't bother me, just a few but I always have earplugs when staying away. Had a meal, excellent food and portions. Manager friendly helpful and accomodating with Vegan options on a Saturday. Excellent Vegan gravy with Nut roast. Would stay again.
No breakfast available, even a pre-packed Vegan/Veggie Juice and Continental type breakfast would have been useful.
No Decaff coffee in room, I did ask if they had any, but no - they didn't. 😔Easily fixed and usually there anywhere else.

There was no breakfast offer
The Booking.com description did not meet reality, the rooms were below a Travelodge standard with multiple faults, we had a flood from the inadequate shower installation which in turn set off the fire alarm due to water ingress to the electrics. For a ‘deluxe’ room the double bed (pushed against the wall) required a new mattress very uncomfortable, there was. No sofa, no hand towels, no soundproofing (which was in the description) no robes again in the description. However when the manageress arrived she immediately offered a full refund of the accommodation charge. This establishment has potential to be good but the very poor standard of fit out in the rooms will always disappoint !

The staff were great very helpful the room was excellent very spacious top quality will definitely stay again.
They could put a bedside table on both sides of the bed & a second chair in the room as no breakfast supplied I had t eat my food on the bed just a minor thing .

Breakfast was not available at this establishment, but they gave us a recommendation for somewhere nearby.
We were pleased with the bathroom/toilet facilities.
the property had recently been refurbished to a high standard.
3.0
Newly refurbished restaurant and rooms, looked good. Quiet location and room, easy to find and large secure car park.
£90 was very expensive for this room. Bed was soft, pillows dirty, couldn't shut the bathroom door and the room was very light at 4am.
If the price was lower I could have let these issues slide. But for £90 I expect more.

the staff were lovely, the facilities were great and the beds comfortable.
our room was above the kitchen and the main pub area, we heard voices most of the night and then got woken up very early by loud music coming from the kitchen.

The property was ideal for visiting Friends ands visiting Doncaster. It was clean and smelt newly painted.
The Mattress was a very thin one with a topper on which didn’t help. The bathroom is so small( you can see that the toilet paper holder had been knocked off before. There was pink mould on the tap. the mirror in the bedroom had dust

They did not do breakfast. They offered a pub down the road that did a good Full English breakfast, but I did not go. I knew this before I booked, so not a problem.
I was unaware my arrival day was St Patrick's Day, staff were Irish. They were playing very loud music when I arrived and it did not go off until 12 midnight. Bass throbbed in my room. Unable to fall asleep until all was quiet.

Convenient position for a birthday party we were attending. Pub bit was really nice, friendly atmosphere, good attentive staff.
Didn’t serve breakfast. Which was a shame as the food looked good.

The location was good, it was quiet and the room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The restaurant was handy for a nice meal in the evening or lunchtime. Plenty of places locally to go to for breakfast.
The bed was not very comfortable, could do with a new mattress.
4.5
Room was absolutely huge, comfy bed, well equipped,
Room only had a blind maybe could have do with a curtain to block out the light from the car park , also didn't do breakfast but pub down the road did breakfast

The room looked lovely and clean.
Shower - very small. The whole bathroom was small. The shower head was as big as the whole shower cubicle. All radiators were cold - they needed bleeding.through the night I was freezing. No number to call through the night if needed in an emergency. No breakfast served at all. Evening dinner stopped at 7:30pm. All the floors were too creaky. Mattress was thin. As I sat on it I hit the divan.
