Perfectly placed for exploring the Peak District National Park and the highways and byways of beautiful Cheshire.. All on the First Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV
Bedroom 2: Bunk (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Large lawned garden (shared with owner). Private parking for 2 cars; additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. With open countryside and canalside walks close by, The Flat can be found just 1½ miles from the centre of vibrant Congleton. On the site of the friendly owners home, it offers warm and comfortable accommodation for those wanting to explore the attractions and countryside of wonderful Cheshire, together with the magnificent Peak District National Park.
Known locally as Beartown, Congleton is a pretty and bustling market town located half way between Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent. It’s home to a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops and offers the opportunity for a variety of outdoor pursuits. The River Dane and Macclesfield Canal are both nearby for relaxing waterside walks, and the Biddulph Valley Way provides a tranquil, traffic free route for walkers and cyclists alike. The Peak District National Park is a mere 15-minute drive as is the market town of Macclesfield, one of the gateways to the peaks.
The surrounding area holds plenty of wonderful attractions including the historic houses of Little Moreton Hall and Gawsworth Hall both 15 minutes away and Capesthorne Hall, 20 minutes. Biddulph Grange Country Park is a mere 10-minute drive, the atmospheric ruins of Mow Cop Castle in around 20 minutes together with Jodrell Bank for any astronomy lovers. Finally the cities of both Manchester and Chester can be reached in around an hour or by train from Congleton railway station. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
