Stay

Staff were friendly and polite. Facilities were clean.

The restaurant closed earlier, so I had to leave to get food. Was woken up at 6am with doors slamming.

Comfortable room but staff attitude and service were generally disappointing.

The room was very comfortable with good facilities.

Staff appeared disinterested and not particularly helpful. The breakfast was poor, luke warm food and slow service.

First class.

Everything, the room was lovely, immaculate throughout, with a very nice bathroom. Staff were great and the food was excellent.

Just one tiny blip, was the housekeepers talking loudly near to my room in the morning, when still trying to sleep..the bedding as in sheets could be better quality.

OK for what we needed, but overpriced for what we got

Fantastic location right in the town centre and close to where we needed to be. Beautifully decorated throughout, nice soap, handcream and shower gel in dispensers, so no plastic waste. Tea and coffee facilities provided

Our room was very small, with a bed that seemed smaller than a double, so would have been better described as a single room. The shower room also was very small, and as kitted our as a wet room, it meant the ehole floor was soaked after a shower..not great for the second person in!. Breakfast was very disappointing...very slow service, buffet bar and juice nearly empty, even though an hour and half before the end time. Full breakfast was not very big, and food was dry, when it arrived an hour after ordering

Overall a very satisfying stay. Can really recommend this hotel.

The location was very central. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with all necessary ametities. The breakfast menu was above expectations. Good service and friendly staff.

A minor issue really, but the shower was open on one side so the bathroom floor got a bit wet in the shower area. But this is only a detail that did not affect my overall good impression.

Perfect getaway for the night with gorgeous food and service.

Gorgeous room, loved the little touches like the coffee machine and fresh milk and water. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely, can’t fault at all!

Very lovely hotel, good quality, just a couple of niggly points. Would definately stay again.

Location was good. Breakfast was good, although needed more cereal choice than Bran Flakes or Cocoa Pops. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Tea & Coffee facilities in room. Need more instructions how to use fancy coffee machine and where milk is kept. Also was not impressed with the 2 Hovis biscuits on offer in the room, which were in a jar that looked like other people had put their hands in to take biscuits out! Sealed packets of biscuits would be better.

Comfortable and relaxed

High standard of decor and furnishings , food was tasty, good portions,well presented. Room was comfortable and coffee machine in room great idea.....the young man who served our lunch, breakfast and booked us out at reception is a great asset.

I had a wonderful, homely stay and would stay here again.

Location is very central, the facilities are of a very high standard, the staff are polite and the breakfast was very nice

The town centre location means there will be some external noise but I found this minimal even at a weekend

Beautiful hotel with lots of car park spaces, only let down was the time to get our breakfast.

Beautiful reception area and restaurant, rooms very tidy and clean, plenty of room and good location for a local wedding attended, plenty of car park space, staff were lovely and friendly.

Bed was small, breakfast took over an hour to arrive for us and the order was incorrect, took 35 minutes to get our pot of tea. Sad as this is a beautiful hotel.

Location was great. Easy car park with nice big spaces so my car didn’t get door dented. Room was lovely and immaculate. I stayed in room 19

Was directly above the entrance door which slammed when people entered or left the block.

Comfy room, excellent bed. Lovely breakfast 😋 Great place for us to base ourselves for bluedot festival.

A tiny suggestion, get rid of the noisey coffee machine and just get a kettle!

Location is lovely in prime position just outside the town centre. The hotel is absolutely fabulous. The refurbishment is so tasteful and comfortable.

iT WAS V LOUD MUSIC IN THE HOTEL ON fRIDAY nIGHT, THAT WAS V ANNOYING AS I HAD A LONG BUSY DAY AT WORK AND THE ROOMS ARE IN ANOTHER BUILDING , which was bit cumbersome to go up the maze like alley ways. the guest in rooms were v loud and my sleep was quite disturbed and interrupted. I THINK hOTEL SHOULD GIVE DUE DILIGENCE TO TEHSE POINTS AS WEL, ROOM was good, nicely cleaned, loved the breakfast room & menu, over all Good stay but pls keep in mind that all prefer good night sleep which if music played so loud Isn't possible at all esp after long day of work and travel thanks
