Great base to explore the city on foot if you are willing to walk.

Very good breakfast served by friendly hostess. Beautiful views out over the bay.

Bastante agradable por lo demás

Buen lugar, cercano a sitios turísticos, vista hermosa, instalaciones buenas para descansar, jardín bien mantenido, desayuno adecuado, a pesar de que no tiene un estacionamiento muy bueno se agradece que lo tenga.

La descripción de lo que aparece en booking con lo que realmente es no coincide (decía que tenía dormitorio separado con 2 baños y era solo 1 dormitorio con 1 baño )

We loved our 2 night stay and would love to stay there again one day. Highly recommend it

The location, the view which was amazing, the whole feel of the place was fantastic. Unfortunately forgot her name but the host was very friendly and welcoming

The kitchenette was tiny and had no tea towel or detergent and was not really suited to prepare any meal. But that is just a minor issue, we loved the place

Ein Urlaubsort wie man ihn sich wünscht.

Die Vermieter haben uns in allen Belangen unterstützt. Wir benötigten Hilfe und sie waren über die Maßen fürsorglich und entgegenkommend. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich. Der Blick von dort atemberaubend schön. Die Unterkunft selbst ist stilvoll ausgestattet. Es ist alles sauber. Die Außenanlagen liebevoll angelegt. Beim Frühstück fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Alles wird frisch angerichtet und mit größter Freundlichkeit am Tisch gereicht. Wir hatten während unseres Chile-Urlaubs 12 Unterkünfte - diese war die Beste.

Es war alles bestens.

bel endroit pour découvrir Valparaiso

petit déjeuner bien et varié, belle vue, bon Wifi, parking prive pour petite voiture, ambiance sympa, le jardin plein de fleurs offrant aussi des possibilités de repas a l'extérieur... la propreté des lieux et un style architectural chaleureux

le plafond de la chambre mansardee trop bas, les sanitaires très modernes mais séparées de la chambre par un couloir - l'hôtel qui dispose d'une belle vue est difficile a trouver en voiture dans le dédale des ruelles mal signalées, mais avec l'aide des pasants on y arrive tôt ou tard et les aboiements des. chiens qui vous réveillent en pleine nuit ou de la musique très forte provenant du voisinage.

Apartado con una vista espectacular

La vista del hotel es muy bonita. Para llegar a la zona de restaurantes se puede acceder caminando. Los cuartos son acogedores y te sientes en casa. El desayuno muy completo y delicioso. La atención de Paulina muy bien. No tuvimos agua caliente porque llovió muchísimo durante la noche (anormal para la época) y los calentadores se mojaron, Paulina buscó la manera de resolverlo, nos ofreció otra regadera e incluso cambiaros de habitación.

Nice stay, very well located in Valparaíso.

Great location, super nice breakfast offered and nicely decorated cabins.

Bed was not very comfortable and only offered two pillows that were not very good.

Great relaxing stay with amazing views!

We really enjoyed our stay at Faro Azul and felt right at home thanks to Paulina, who was really welcoming and helpful. The entire property was very clean and in a very good shape with nice possibilities to sit and enjoy the amazing view. For us the location was very good, easy to walk to the center (15 minutes) and at the same time nice and quiet with amazing views. After dinner we took a Taxi back (also nice because you don’t have to walk uphill) and it only cost us 2000 CLP. There is free parking on the property. Breakfast was also really good with fresh fruit and scrambled egg.

it was very noisy at night - dogs barking constantly, party nearby and there is no sound prof system in the hotel. impossible to sleep without earplugs.

Good value for money in Valpo!

Spectacular view from our room!! Easy to park in and around. Super friendly and helpful staff. Eggs for breakfast was a plus.

Neighbourhood dogs barking during the night. The nectar juice too much sugar.

Stay here and you will not want to leave ❤️

My husband and I stayed in bungalow #10 for 5 nights and loved it! The hostal has a big house with 9 bedrooms and 2 detached bungalows. Our bungalow was like a studio: one big room with a queen bed, TV, sofa with table and a small kitchenette (plus the bathroom, of course, with hot water that never ends). There is a two burner stovetop, sink, a few plates/glasses/utensils and an electric kettle. No refrigerator or other appliances. But the great thing is you can borrow whatever else you need from the big house. The bed and pillows were the most soft and comfortable in all our Chile stays so far. Paulina is a perfect hostess and made us breakfast every morning as well as helped us with EVERYTHING we requested. Breakfast was coffee, fruit, bread, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, juice and avocado- so plentiful! We used the outdoor gas grill one night too. The yard/garden is beautifully manicured and has many seating spaces to relax and watch sunset. The big house and bungalows each have their own patios with furniture too. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown. There is a great pizza place only steps from the hostal and also a mini market. The parking was free and inside the locked gate, so it felt very secure. Out of all the great things about this hostal, Paulina really is the best. She was so generous, always smiling and helpful (even though our Spanish is very bad). I would love to stay here again one day.

Charming, peaceful & very welcoming

This was a gem in middle Valparaiso. Perhaps not closer to many restaurants and bars, but that makes it really peaceful. The bungalow was perfect, well equipped, although the view was covered by trees... anyway you can walk a few steps and the view from the shared terrace is great! The personnel was very attentive.

Perhaps the sound isolation and the view from the bungalow, too much covered by trees just in front.

A perfect calm place with lovely views!

Even though the place is not entirely in the center or the most touristy area, it’s very close to everything you could possibly need (La Sebastiana, Cerro Bellavista and its famous paintings, cafes and restaurants). It offers a huge terrace with unbeatable views of Valparaíso and enormous perfectly equipped kitchen! We highly recommend this place!
