We really enjoyed our stay at the property. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pans, and other cooking utensils, which was appreciated! We would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed how short of a walk tot was to the beach, which seems to be very private as we saw very few people down on the beach.

Great location and the house was cozy. There were plenty of beds and there were good cooking and communal space. Towels were a bit stinky and neighbors were a lot closer than pictures suggested. Property manager was very helpful for questions and great access to the beach!

The house was clean, the appliances all worked great, the knives were sharp, the neighborhood was quiet and the blinds did a great job of keeping the bedroom dark. We would definitely recommend this place, and would be happy to stay there again.
Check-in was easy, and communication with the property managers was great and simple. No complaints.

Generally a nice rental, we loved that it was dog friendly and it had a great kitchen and patio, but could use some small improvements.
Location- nice and safe neighborhood, but it’s about a 10-15 min walk to the beach which is a little further than we would have liked, but they provide a beach cart which was very helpful.
Kitchen is nice and large, and generally well equipped but we had the following issues: I believe the freezer ice maker is broken, I reported this to vacasa but they didn’t offer much help since it wasn’t listed in the rental’s amenities. However, there weren’t any ice cube trays so I believe the ice machine recently broke. We had to buy ice trays, which was a little annoying. Kitchen knives are VERY dull, basically unusable. The dishwasher has sand in it so if you wash the wine glasses they get sand caked onto the interior (wine glasses were like this when we arrived, but also appeared this way after running them through the dishwasher, so it’s a recurring issue). Dishwasher also doesn’t have a typical lower rack configuration, which makes washing multiple of plates and/or bowls challenging.
Ping pong table was fun, but needs new paddles and balls. We bought new balls and donated them when we left.
Whoever stayed before us didn’t completely pick up after their dog. As others noted the outdoor umbrella doesn’t work and some interior blinds need repair.

Nice clean home with lots of spaces to hang out. The kids loved the ping pong table. Easy walk to the beach. I have never seen so much driftwood on one beach. We enjoyed sitting in the back room/kitchen watching the hail storms rolling through.

We had the best time! So much fun we wanted to add days but couldn’t make it work. We came to Agate Habit with our baby and 2 pups. It was our first time away as a family of 3+2 dogs. This house was more than we needed but was so great to have all the space! The house was so clean! We felt at home from the moment we walked in. We spend our free time walking the trails, walking to the beach, or we drove to town for lunch and shopping. While at the house we played ping pong, made dinner, and sat on the patio! We’ve never been to this area of the coast and quickly became our favorite! The town is small but has everything you need. The beaches are fantastic! The neighborhood was adorable and quiet.

It was overall a good experience . There were a lot of stains on the carpet that we documented upon arrival. Bath towels smelled. It would have been nice to be able to have fans and open the windows for air, however the blinds were broken. Those are minor things. The house was nice.

This was a very comfortable house and a very nice to stay. There are enough sleeping spaces for eight people but with adults one per queen bed is the most comfortable. A quick five minute walk from the beach and it’s on a quiet street. Overall, a very nice place to stay. I would probably just ask for more communication and better response from the rental company, Vacasa.

The house set up nice. We loved the outdoor fireplace. However there was no TV in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The room that had a TV it did not have cable. The blinds in the master bed room dow stairs were broken. The umbrella on the patio was broken. The house also had a dog smell. These are minor fixes to improve future stays for guest.

Our family loves staying in this comfy cozy home. Peaceful neighborhood with great beach access. Well stocked and plenty of room for our multi-generational family of 8. We love the backyard fireplace and the ping pong table. Always a treat!

We stayed here with our son, daughter-in-law, grandson and our little 10 lb dog. It was wonderful having a main floor master and the kids just took over the bedrooms & bathroom upstairs. Very clean and well equipped. We loved the fireplace outside on the patio, very private and was perfect for those s’mores at dusk & an adult beverage after. Check in and out was a breeze with the Vacasa ap and via text.
The only downside was the inside gas fireplace does not work and they could use a good large nonstick skillet (but I would just bring mine next time) There is no “powder room” on the main floor so unless you want to go upstairs to use the bathroom, you should be prepared for people going in and out of the master….not a problem for us, just a heads up.

Perfect house for family or friends to come together . Everything was clean and there was plenty of complementary supplies and towels . Lots of backyard space for little bbqs and more ! Loved that it was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach as well . The neighborhood was great, felt very safe and welcoming. Would definitely stay again !

First time staying at this property. Loved the area and the surroundings. We loved the trees and close walk to the near by beach.
The house was spacious and loved that the garage had activities for kids to enjoy their stay.
The only thing I would say is that cleaning could have been more thorough prior to check-in. Some of the bedding looked like it had not been washed, pillow case had a fresh stain. Floors were not swept or carpet vacuumed. We didn’t mind cleaning up but not something we feel like we should be doing while on vacation. Overall, it was a nice home, perfect for families and perfect location for relaxation!

The oven and toaster did not work well, so that was a bit of a hassle : ( but other than that its a very nice place.)

Everything you need and more
This place was great! Very beautiful home with all the kitchen essentials you could ever need. Not only did they have a ping pong table and games, but a wagon was provided for adventuring to the beach along with multiple chairs to use. Only a 10 minute walk from the beach, this was the perfect location to hangout with friends.

This house facilitated hanging out and it was in a good location. It's only a short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants, stores... . Everything about the rental went well and we would stay there again. One of the bathrooms is off the downstairs masters bedroom so it will definitely work best for a family; however, it did work fine for my four colleagues and me. We appreciated the many beds. The neighborhood was very quiet, though that may have been because we were there in a very rainy period in December. The back yard looked over a stream and wetland, which meant it was pretty far to the nearest house in that direction and instead there was a nice view of wetland vegetation and birds...

We loved this house! Clean house, awesome location. Loved the outdoor space too so we could have a fire each night. We saw deer and a huge owl while sitting on the patio. Big kitchen table for puzzles and games and lots of space for our big family. Ping pong table was a bonus too! The kids loved it!

Just Right
We loved our stay in this home. It was an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and most importantly to me, it was clean. The large patio was perfect for celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. All 8 of us from age 2-60 enjoyed our stay.

Perfection!
This place was absolutely wonderful! Had everything we needed and things we didn’t even realize we would want. Beautiful house, so clean! Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The beach was amazing too, we had so much fun building things out of drift wood and looking for shells. Will definitely be returning!

Best Weekend Ever!
We had a fabulous weekend with family and friends! The beach was fairly close, the house well stocked, and very comfortable. Best of all, when I emailed the rental co that the back porch light were out, they had someone there replacing the bulbs before noon the next day. Soooo helpful!

Enjoyed our time! House was very comfortable and family friendly. Enjoyed morning coffee watching the birds out the back windows. Short walk to the beach. Kitchen fully stocked to prepare meals. Only thing I ran into was I tried to email vacasa and the owner and never heard back.

We love this house! This is our second visit to celebrate my grandsons birthday! The neighborhood is lovely. The house is clean and well kept. The beach is close and the eagles are a real treat! Cant wait to come back next year!

Heaven at the Beach
This house is amazing!! It’s cozy but can accommodate a large group. It’s very well stocked. It’s luxurious but homey. Only small issue was the fridge smelled strongly of seafood each time the door opened. It was clean but smelled bad. Otherwise....loved, loved, loved!! Hope to return. Thank you!

Beautiful house
This beautiful, new modern beach house was great for our family of 4 (plus dog- though it’s not fully “fenced” which we anticipated). I docked a point for cleanliness- lots of dust and some dirty dishes in the cupboards (including a very disgusting waffle iron) though the furniture was in great shape and the bathrooms and kitchen appliances were clean. Also- when we arrived there was a persistent beeping sound that was coming from the fireplace. A quick response from Vacasa and their local manager ultimately led to several problems being resolved. Took us awhile to figure out the tv and fireplace as there were no instructions. Generally the house is just as it appears and is really beautiful. It’s a Quiet neighborhood and the back of the house looks out on a wetland area so it feels very private.

We absolutely had a blast at the Agate Habit. Was in a cute quiet neighborhood just a few blocks walking distance from a very private beach. Everything was clean and easy access. The only trouble we had was the garbage disposal not working, causing the sink not to drain properly. We asked to have it fixed or looked at 4 times, and got no response on it. That was the only major downfall!

Great family house
We’ve stayed several times on the Oregon coast and this house was everything we’ve been looking for! Great layout for a family, well stocked kitchen, lots of extra bedding and towels, very clean. About a ten minute walk to the beach. The backyard was partially fenced and faced a wooded creek in the back so it felt very private and was perfect for our dog. We really enjoyed the location being close to Rockaway Beach and Manzanita and short drive to the boat launch in Wheeler for fishing.
