Everything in the description is true - no exaggeration. You literally walk out of bed and are within feet of the picnic table and pool. The view is amazing and it was very peaceful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was perfect and exactly what we were looking and hoping for.

We had an amazing stay here. It was peaceful, clean, and very well kept. We were impressed with Yorie's attention to detail and wonderful hospitality.

The property was great and so was the owner. The view was incredible and the personal pool was delightful.

This property is better than shown in the pictures. The host, Yorie, is wonderful, friendly, attentive and responds to requests immediately. It was extremely hot when we were there and being able to cool off in the pool was perfect. The unit is immaculate and all the fits and finishes are top quality. We hope to return next year for two weeks and rent the second unit for our family on the second week. There are several great restaurants in the area, Paparazzi Pizza, Loose Cannon and Pillars @ the Admiral Inn. Shout out to Roger taxi, ask for Janelle because she is a beauty. Shout out to Bigs taxi, make sure you ask for Oris, he's the best. Antigua is a magical place for us and Yorie made it even better. Thank you so much for a great stay!

This was our second stay at Yorie's property and it was a replication of our first....lovely, comfortable, clean, convenient, relaxing. Perfect! We will come again.

This was our second year staying at this property and it was fantastic. The view is second to none, the property is new and very well looked after. Having your own pool is great especially on warm days. It's something to look forward to. There are some good restaurants nearby and it's only a few minutes drive into Nelsons dockyard for anything that's needed.

The villa is exactly as it is shown on the website- Very clean and inviting with spectacular views from the patio and pool that you can access right from the bedroom. I appreciated not only the amazing views, but close proximity to the beach, hiking and sites like Nelson's Dockyard and Shirley Heights.
Our host was lovely and available when we needed. She provided excellent recommendations for some excursions which were amazing.
We hope to return and stay in Yorie's Villa again.

We had a great 1 week stay at Triton. The pool is fabulous at the end of the day and the apartment itself was so comfortable. The view of the harbour and the sunsets are unforgettable. Being able to walk 3 minutes for dinner and drinks at the Loose Cannon was an added bonus. If we ever come back to Antigua we would rent it in an instant.

The villa was perfect! The view...amazing! The beach...beautiful! The pool...a wonderful extra! About 7 mins from a grocery store and some restaurants in English Harbour. The Loose Cannon bar and restaurant was also a great place to dine. The Academy of Rum is right on location. Great activity to book! Shirley Heights is only a 4 min drive, and has gorgeous sunrises, sunsets and bbq parties with steel drum band and vendors! We traveled the island on different days, and both agree, this was the perfect location! You won't be disappointed!

This was a beautiful location. The house was perfect for us, especially with the pool and the view. English Harbor itself is a great part of the island. Enjoyed watching the rowers coming in for the World’s Toughest Row across the Atlantic! After traveling to St.Johns and Jolly Harbor, we don’t think we could have stayed at a better place. Definitely would come again. Thank you very much.

This villa was perfect for us in many ways and we had a fantastic stay. The location, view (which is amazing!) and quiet location were wonderful, and the communication was excellent. Yorie, our host, always responded incredibly quickly if we had any queries - for example, on our second day we wanted to locate the nearest supermarket to buy some basic provisions and Yorie responded immediately. We had two power outages during our nine day stay, but this is not so uncommon in Antigua. We rented a car which was essential for us to see other parts of the country. One suggestion we have made is to consider leaving a ‘handbook’ in the property with useful information to help others with their stay. We would highly recommend the villa to anyone considering booking it!

The little villa was perfect for my wife and myself. Very nicely decorated and clean. The private soaking pool was perfect to cool off in the afternoon and to watch the spectacular sunsets from. Location was ideal and property was exactly as advertised. We hope to book this property again when were back!

This is an awesome property! It was everything and more. Wonderful view! So nice to wake up to. Yorie is very accommodating and was always making sure that we had what we needed. Highly recommend, but there are several steps to the unit. Would go back again!

We came across Yorie's listing for Triton while looking for a special place in the Caribbean to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We were looking for a mix of privacy, splendid views, proximity to restaurants , "supplies", world class beaches and some night life. This property delivered in spades. Even though it was the third week of October and low/renovation season for the local hotels and other establishments, we had no trouble finding places locally to explore and eat. Triton is within an easy drive of all of the above as well as amazing Half Moon Beach, Devil's Bridge, Darkwater Beach just to name a few. And locally Galleon Beach a short walk down the hill, Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour and Shirley Heights are not to be missed. Great communication always with this platinum host and a 10/10 property for cleanliness, quality of furnishings, decor, the pool - and THE most amazing view and sunsets that you will find difficult to beat anywhere! Neil and Trish Rowland.

This suite is one of a few the owner has on her property, but they are all separate and private. This one IS a part of the structure of the main house that the owner lives in, but is completely separate, and privacy was very good. No concerns there.
Overall, fantastic stay. Communication was good as well. We had a power outage on our first night, which meant there was no AC working, so my wife and I couldn’t sleep. I texted the host, who was away at the time, and she coordinated the generator startup within an hour and got us a great nights sleep.
Views are great, and it’s in a safe location. You’ll be happy if you book it!

My husband and I stayed here at this beautiful beach villa for our vacation and we had an amazing time, the Villa was absolutely beautiful and so clean and organized, it was hard packing up to head home…I just wanted to stay longer! I would definitely recommend to family and friends, and Yorie was just awesome, great customer service overall and super friendly. We will definitely be coming back and staying again, thank you again for an incredible time and stay! 😊👍☀️

This property is just as described. We enjoyed it very much and appreciate the attentive manager. Everyone is very friendly around Galleon beach and English and Falmouth Harbour. The view is stunning and beautiful every evening.

This is a wonderful villa with absolute amazing views of Galleon Beach and English Harbour. The villa has everything you need, and we especially appreciated (and used daily) the 2 beach chairs and cooler. Owner Yorie was very responsive to our questions and requests. 2 minor suggestions to make the villa even better (my opinion only) would be to add a small microwave and to have some ice made in freezer upon guest’s arrival. We arrived late after a day and a half of travel, stopped on way to unit and bought a bottle of rum, and wanted to have a cold drink to help unwind, but found the 2 ice trays empty in freezer on arrival. The freezer makes great ice BTW, and we made lots of it during our stay! Minor suggestions only. This is a great, comfortable, spacious unit with great amenities, views, cushioned loungers on porch with shade, and a great pool. The steps up to unit from parking area provide for a good workout which we didn’t mind. If you are not in shape or have bad knees, I’d recommend the Starlight apt next door though I don’t believe it has a pool. We will definitely stay at this unit again when/if we return to Antigua. Final thought: Loose Cannon restaurant below villa on Galleon beach has great food but is very expensive. Our lunch there (just a burger, Greek salad with chicken, 2 drinks and a water was $80 USD and one of most expensive places on the island. Thanks Yorie for a great accommodation and stay/experience in Antigua!

Wonderful! Even better than pictured! Attention to detail was excellent! Everything we were looking for! Even though it was “off season” still plenty of great fun adventures to do close by! Yorie was an excellent host with great communication! 🌴☀️🌴 10/10 in our books! 🥰

My husband and I were looking for a simple, spacious and lovely setting, which is what exactly what Yorie provided in the villa, Triton, on Galleon Beach. It had everything we needed and wanted from a very comfortable king size bed and modern bath/amenities to beach chairs and cooler. The pool off the deck was PERFECT after incredible days at the island beaches. Yorie was very responsive to any questions or needs. Within 1 minute of asking where to put a full trash bag, it was removed by maintenance staff! Above and beyond. Great location, friendly people, we had a wonderful time and plan to return!

Very clean. Amazing views. Yorie was great and very accommodating.
It was our first time to Antigua, so I didn’t expect the insane potholes in the roads on the way to this wonderful property. But once we were there, it was our slice of heaven.
Can’t go wrong with this property.
8.0 / 10.0
Physical Condition- overall, the place is in great condition, sliding glass doors are solid and first class, so are the bath and fixtures. The kitchen area is a little small, but the bedroom and bath are quite large. The pool is a dipping pool, but my wife liked it. There is a large picnic table, plus two lounges with cushions on the deck. Bed is quite large and comfy. There were some loud birds many of the nights, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.
Access- the road to the development is in pretty bad shape - twisting, narrow, many potholes, and no center line, so cars often go from side to side to the middle to avoid potholes. This was true of most of the roads we were on in Antigua, though traffic was light, so we had no close calls, but there were many blind curves, no guardrails, in retrospect, I probably would not have rented a car and just used taxis .
The driveway is pretty steep, so we mostly parked off to the side below the driveway . There are stairs to the left that lead you up to the stairs to the apt. I didn't find the stairs to be a huge issue, and we went up and down several times each day.
Beach- Galleon is a small beach, we only went there twice, it is very gentle, no waves , more like a lake. Saw tons of fish while snorkeling there. The onsite restaurant Loose Canon was a bit expensive, but the burgers were extremely good. We went to Pigeon Beach 10 to 15 min drive - plenty of trees provided shade, and it was nice to have the folding chairs from the apartment - she also has a cooler. We prefered the beaches with views of turquoise water - such as Ffyes, Darkwood, and Half Moon, though Ffryes was about a 45 minute drive over mostly narrow and twisty roads - just drive slowly looking out for obstacles such as animals, people, potholes, parked cars and speed bumps.
Internet was sporadic the first few days, but Yorie changed out some equipment and it was fine the last few days. Yorie was very easy to reach though the VRBO app, and very helpful.
Dining, most nights we went to English Harbor, plenty of good restaurants to choose from and it is about a 10 minute drive.
Safety - we felt safe the entire time we were there. There is a guard shack and gate at the entrance to the development, and I understand there are 2 guards on staff at all times. We ran into John, one of the guards, was very helpful and walked throughout the grounds regularly.

This property has an exceptional view! It is easy to get to, close to restaurants such as Incanto, and La Brasserie. La Brasserie is famous for their fresh morning croissants made with French butter. Yorie, our host, gave us a few tips that made our trip! The little villa and its dipping pool, was exceptional! This property books fast, so just do it! Thanks much for a lovely stay!

Charming hillside Villa with a spectacular view overlooking Galleon Bay and English Harbor. Clean and nicely decorated living space, comfortable bed, and a very nice pool and deck. Cute kitchen with all necessary utensils and appliances, but if you plan to cook you will need to provide everything which is available at local markets. Internet is spotty in this area. Access to the villa is by stairs. If you have any issues or questions Yorie, your host, is responsive and helpful.
English Harbor has a number of very good restaurants. Abracadabra, Calebrini, and LaBrasserie, were all excellent. Pigeon Point Beach is a lovely sandy beach a short drive away with upscale beach restaurant Catherine's. There are also a number of beach bars and casual restaraunts close by to choose from, also nearby hiking trails to work off the calories.
If you plan to rent a vehicle, which we did, the drive from the airport can be challenging, especially at night, as there are few street signs. Pot holes can be numerous in some locations so consider a four wheel drive vehicle with good ground clearance, our subcompact bottomed out a number of times.
People are very friendly in Antigua and we had a wonderful vacation.

My husband and I spent a week at this rental for our anniversary trip. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Triton. It is a quaint little apartment overlooking. Galleon Bay and steps from Galleon beach. The views are breathtaking and we found ourselves losing time just hanging on the outdoor patio and enjoying the refreshing waters of the private swimming pool. The apartment had a well appointed kitchen with everything required to cook our own meals when we did not feel like eating out. There is also a small beach club just down the hill from the apartment but if you want to enjoy food, you have to get there early, as they do not serve food after 6 pm. However, there also a delivery app called All Mart, that connects you to many restaurants on the island that will deliver right to your door.
The interior of the apartment is very nicely decorated and provides a relaxing environment to call home for your vacation. We enjoyed the king size bed, especially the views. We did not find the pillows to be very comfortable, they were very soft, and we enjoy a bit of a firmer pillow, but that was a minor detail and personal preference. However, we loved the large oversized towels for the shower, and the little extras such as the cooler, beach towels and beach chairs. We packed these up in our rental car daily and adventured out to many of the beautiful beaches that the island has to offer. We would highly recommend a rental car to get around the island, and to access the property. There is a very steep driveway up to the apartment and a tall set of stairs as well, so keep this in mind if you have any mobility issues.
The ad for this apartment does state the internet is not very strong, and that is very factual. At times we could not even open a pdf document attached to an email. We would have to say that is the only real negative about this property. Being self-employed, and in the era of a “remote” world, we believe that a stronger internet service is something that would make this rental absolutely perfect!!
All and all, we had a wonderful time at Triton and would highly recommend this rental.

It is rare to find a small apartment with its own pool in such a fabulous location. a stunning view over English Harbour and a stone's throw from Galleon Beach.
The apartment is well equipped and the owners charming.

Located on a quiet beach about a five minute walk from the villa. My husband and I were blown away by the view from our deck. You should be aware that there are 36 steps leading up to the villa so if you have walking issues, this might be a problem for you. That bring said, we are in our 70’s and we were fine. Antiguan roads are a challenge with many potholes so be prepared if you are renting a car. There is a beach bar at the bottom of the hill which was convenient. They do have live bands on the weekend which can provide lively entertainment while you sit on your deck with an island drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it if you prefer independent travel an not the usual hotel experience.

Galleon Beach Gem
Super cute spot, perfect for one person or a couple. The little pool with the gorgeous view and the location on such a fabulous snorkeling beach really made this an extra special getaway. Huge, comfortable bed and high-quality linens were very much appreciated. The little kitchen is very well stocked with good pots, pans, etc. There's not a lot of room for food storage, but you can use some of the generous shelving in the bedroom. The kitchen's painted table is adorable but wobbly, however the big picnic table outside is nice and sturdy. A lovely stay, very peaceful.

Lovely Spot
We loved staying here! One of the highlights of the trip. Loved the bright and roomy design and decor, and the high quality amenities. We can tell there is a lot of thought and attention put into this property. The host was receptive to any questions and needs and left us to our own to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We loved the private pool and swam in it every day as well as the loved going to the beach to swim and enjoy the sun. One days we rented snorkeling equipment and swam throughout the harbour and found a family of large sea turtles and fish and coral and the biggest of sea cucumbers. The boats in the harbour seemed very respectable to others swimming and paddling around. Would highly recommend!

Description NOT reality.
This apartment has uninterrupted views of English Harbour, however it has many problems.
No signage to Galleon Beach from main road.
Poor direction from the owner.
Steep Driveway up to parking only partially concreted, a 4x4 is essential.
3 flights 36 steps to apartment level from parking area.
Pool was dirty and poorly maintained, with thick black algae around the in-pool lighting.
There is a security camera positioned over the pool directly from the owners balcony which also overlooks the entire outside area.
The Kitchen is very old and scruffy with broken Dining Table with loose top and very wobbly. The plastic glassware was in poor condition with some broken pieces.
In the Bedroom/Sitting Room the TV Wiring plugs and cables are hanging 2 feet from the floor on an extension cord. Also in this room there is exposed wiring in the wall.
In the Bathroom there is a broken pull blind in the forward facing window.
This property has no wardrobe but space in the owners storage cupboard with plastic drawers and 8 coat hangers.
Absolutely NO information on Emergency contacts or an escape route plan. NO information on local amenities, shopping restaurants etc.
In all Very very poor accommodation NOT value for money.

Just WOW!
We just returned from a week stay here and are already dreaming of our return! The unit itself is immaculate and nothing short of amazing. Everything is exactly as pictured, but somehow the view is even more stunning in person! It’s situated on a fairly private and quiet beach that offers great snorkeling and amazing sunset views. we were literally less than 10 minutes from English Harbour (we rented a car to explore the island, highly recommend) and all of the amazing restaurants in the area. There are at least 2 different water taxis that run between the beach and the harbour and dockyard so you can easily access everything “in town.” Yorie was an incredibly helpful and communicative host, answering every one of our questions very quickly. We had the most relaxing week in Antigua, and we can’t thank Yorie enough for sharing her beautiful property with us!

Galleon Beach Trip
This property was excellent. Its not a resort but has a security gate and guards that walk the beach. It felt like a luxury suite. Lots of nice little details. Very clean and modern. Outdoor space was PREFECT. Pool was amazing. We used it everyday and especially after the beaches. Automatic rolldown shades helped keep the suite cool during the day.
In terms of location - this is the place to be. You can see big sailboats coming into Nelson's dockyard. Right on Galleon Beach which is clean and has great snorkeling. There is a little shipwreck right off this beach to snorkel over. Super close to the hiking trails which puts you right into the pillars of herculeus the mermaid gardens and up to shirley heights. Less than 10 minute drive to English Harbour with lots of bars and restaurants.
Host was very hospitable and helpful. Answered questions very quickly but gave us plenty of privacy. The room was cleaned a couple of times during our stay which was a nice bonus.

The perfect getaway
My wife and I were looking for somewhere to stay in Antigua for our vacation and came across this property and immediately said that's the spot for us. 2 min walk to the beach, private pool to dip into whenever we want, kitchenette to cook when we didn't feel up to eating out, king bed to end the days in. Yorie was a great host, gave us tips/suggestions on how to get to Barbuda, and let us have our quiet vacation. We didnt know anything about the island, but we were super pleased to find out that the community we were staying in was private and gated. Hiking trails to old forts just at the end of the beach. Perfect snorkeling location inside the harbor where we saw an old boat wreck, rays and sea turtles. Nelson's dockyard was a 5 minute drive where there were sooo many restaurants, a market, and access to anything we needed or forgot to bring with us. Major attractions to the island (Jolly Harbour, Devil's Bridge) we're 40 minutes drive away and were easy for us to get to from this location. And lastly, the house was perfectly located that we got a perfect sunset everyday of our trip. I really can't speak more highly about this property, all the little details Yorie has added; from the decorations, the sun screens to keep the afternoon heat off, the lounge chairs, picnic table, pool, towels, comfortable bed coverings, pool noodles and beach chairs, really made the experience just perfect. If you want the comforts of your own home and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of hotels and all inclusive stays, reserve this location for your trip to Antigua.
10.0 / 10.0
Wonderful
The apartment was absolutely spotless and generally well equipped, and communications with Yorie were quick and precise. The property is in a gated community (which is in the process of being upgraded with a new beach bar etc) and the views are astounding over Freemans Bay and the opening to English Harbour. True, there are cheaper one bed rentals in the area but they do not have the views, location and your own pool. All in all, a great find, but be aware - 36 steps up to Paradise so distribute the weight in your luggage accordingly!
