Einfache Unterkunft nah am Flughafen

15 min mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen, Check-in auch spät möglich, netter Betreiber, bequemes Bett, sauber, leckerer Kaffee

Einfache Ausstattung und Frühstück war nur ok.

Sehr netter Gastgeber, der sich viel Zeit am Morgen genommen hat, um unsere Fragen zu beantworten.

Späte Anreise war kein Problem, da es beim Mietverleih doch länger als gedacht ging. Sauberes kleines Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück am Morgen ;)

Nice place to stay!

Amazing place with a wonderful owner! There was a comfortable bed, hot shower (as I noticed, not all places in Costa Rica have hot water). The location was in a safe location. Close to the airport, but quiet and peaceful.

Great for a one-night stay to go to Poas before flying

Perfect location for going to the volcano Poas and to the airport. Host is really helpful and kind.

Superb

I stayed here the night before my flight. It was a great value and nice. The owner was really friendly and helpful. He made me a great breakfast and there was a lot of fresh fruit. It's only 15 minutes from the International Airport. The room was nice, and it had a private bathroom. I felt very comfortable there and safe.

Safe, friendly, clean, ask the property directly for a grand total prior to arrival so it's clear!

Felt safe. Clean, some minor tiny ants in toilet area not a problem. Front staff nice. Towels and soaps provided. Helpful arranging a better taxi (that didn't charge too much). Maybe ask in advance to get your taxi to this location too! I was in late and out early so I didn't get to see what breakfast was like. Only 10 minute walk to the ATM, shopping etc.

Paid about $10 more US dollars over what the booking said. Only took cash on arrival. Too hot in the room no fan or screens on the window. While there I messaged the property to see if the mosquito's were bad so I could open a window, no response for over a month.

Feels like home

Amazing staff (Nathaniel), great breakfast, very clean room, hot water in the bathroom.

No air conditioning in the room, but there is a fan and it actually has nice weather at night.

Great hospitality by Nathaniel. Whenever we had a question he was there for us. And he made delicious breakfast. Room was equipped with basic furniture and very clean, quite spacious and silent at night. Beds soft and a lot of pillows to choose from. We had 2 beds available in the room. That was great to recover from the long flight.

Bathroom door was blocking the way to the lavatory and toilet. Mattresses were soft but saggy.

Lovely quick stay near the airport

A lovely B&B in Alajuela near the airport. Walking distance to some restaurants, or a short drive to more. Great house with clean rooms and soft bed. Breakfast is basic but just fine. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location for late arrival to SJO with a lovely host

Really lovely host at check in and who cooked breakfast. Convenient for a one night stay after a late flight into San Jose Airport when you don’t want to drive far

Comfortable bed and clean room

Feeling like I was in someone's house that was trying to be a hotel. It would be better pitched as a friendly, warm b&b as we didn't feel comfortable to use the space outside the room. Had to switch cars everytime we wanted to leave

Highly recommend

We really like this cozy, clean and peaceful hotel. It felt like we were at home. Comfortable bed, good place to store clothes. Large balcony with flowers. Green garden is the best place for yoga). The owner is very kind and helpful. You can also fill your bottle with drinking water from the cooler. Eco friendly place)

Nice, little B&B in a quiet corner of Alajuela, just a few minutes walk from the city's center. The Host was super nice and helpful. Optimal spot for either your first or last day in Costa Rica due to its close proximity to the airport. And if you have same spare time in the morning, the Volcan Poás is also quite close :).

- the owner is very nice and gave some great recommendations and tips - the B&B offers a rental car service - decent selection for breakfast given the price - great value for the money - safe neighborhood; walking distance to a supermarket and ATM

- it was not impecably clean (though not bad by any means) and there were some small insects, but this is normal for CR

The staff was very helpful and flexible! The hotel is located close to the airport (10-15 mins by car). In the morning the neighbour's parrot entertained us with its noise:)

The bin in our room was not emptied before our arrival and one of the towels was not utterly clean.

Great first stop after landing

Basic but nice little hotel near the airport, perfect to stay for a night after a long flight before heading off to the touristy parts. Breakfast was fine, great coffee and a basic "American style" breakfast with bread, spreads and fruits. Private parking.

Good and quiet accommodation close to the airport. The owner was very nice and assisted with luggage. He gave us a map of the area and explained very well where to find everything. Good, basic breakfast included (bread variety, cake, cereal, juice, coffee, fruits).

The owner is the only one with access to open/close the doors to go in and out. It would've been nice to have a key to come/go. He was always there though.

Lovely

Sunrise A-1 exceeded my expectations! We were able to check in late as our flight was late with no issues. Natanael, the host was very welcoming, offered us a yummy breakfast and homemade coffee and spent some time talking to us and giving us advice. We felt right at home. We had another stay booked in Alajuela for our last night but quickly changed it to come and stay with Natanael again. We will be returning here in the future as well :)
