I would recommend this for anyone who needs a place to crash for the night, not a longer term stay.

The host was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean enough. She offered to pick me up from the airport (for an additional fee) and that made my arrival feel soooo smooth! And then she made me a simple yummy breakfast of tortillas and eggs with coffee in the morning.

The shower was not something I would have wanted to use. It was an odd location, a back room in her home.

Ganz einfache Unterkunft mit Frühstück in Nähe vom Flughafen. Wenn anderer Gast im Einzelzimmer nur bei völliger Anspruc

Dicht zum Flughafen Nutzung einer Küchenzeile Verfügbarkeit der Vermieterin

Mitbenutzung aller Gemeinschafträume durch weiteren Mieter Anderer Mieter war nur durch eine Pappwand vom großen Zimmer getrennt. Jedes Geräusch war zu hören und konnte gehört werden. Der andere Gast sieht vom Balkon alles im großen Zimmer da Vorhang für große Fensterfront voll durchsichtig ist.

You get what you pay for…

It was cheap, she got a taxi for us at 5:15 am.

Noisy, neighborhood (after we got there, a friend told us not safe to walk in), without a GPS, impossible to find, if you do not eat breakfast between 8&9 you are out of luck, had to ask if private or shared bathroom (shared), Basically, if you are looking for cheap and are a sound sleeper, this is OK,

Great stay in San José

Great location, extremely friendly host, nice garden, comfy bed.

No privacy if there is another guest. Rooms are not light-proof ( I know that's not a word)

Il you're looking for a place to stay just nearby the airport it's very good plan. The host was nice and she made us a breakast before we leave.

A bit hard to find, it's someone's place. Very noisy (maybe the name "duermo tranquillo" it's not the best choice ;)

Clean and quiet place which is close to the airport. The woman was friendly.

My room had only a small window and it was really hot in the afternoon. Also, my bedspread and towel weren't changed for the two nights.

A good night's sleep

Socorro was very accommodation and helpful with calling early morning cabs for us. Location is secure and close to airport. Beds are reasonably comfy and aside from a few neighborhood roosters and the airport 10 min drive away, the neighborhood is quiet!

No credit cards accepted. No English spoken, though host used Google translate effectively, which was good enough for our needs.

Great for one night

The host was kind and helpful. She served breakfast and the WiFi was fine. An Uber to the airport was 2,000 to 4,500 colones depending on demand.

The neighborhood is far from any necessities so just plan ahead.

Very good

Very clean,good for one night with a late arrival. When the cockerels weren't crowing and the dogs weren't barking it was quiet. Great breakfast.

Simple but great

The place is quiet but close to the airport, rooms are cheap and comfortable. The terace is really cozy, full of bird sounds. Breakfast is simple but tasty, with an awesome orange juice. Our host was really nice, and we could easily overcome the language barriers. This place is perfect for one or two nights after arrival or before leaving with plane.

The bathroom is really small.

ok place to stay one night to catch early morning flight

near the airport no traffic. good for early morning flight

the single room is ready small. bed sheets are really worn out. room is quite cold at night I had to put on sweater and long pants and socks to sleep. poor isolation. I could hear everything from the neighbour’s every cough upstairs or somewhere. the neighborhood doesn’t feel safe at night.

Okay to stay the night but not more.

very nice host, she woke up at 5 am to make us breakfast and to help us call taxi. she also helped with local food recommendations, really helpful. close to the airport. clean

one of the beds were extremely hard, like stone. We also woke up from the sounds from outside, a rooster that started at 2 am for example. We only stayed one night but had a hard time sleeping. No microwave in the room as it said, non well equipped kitchen.

nice secure place for a short stay

very quiet and close to airport. owner very nice and attentive. nice kitchen if you would like to do any cooking. Walmart only 1 mile away.

Very good

The host of this hostel/apartment is very nice and as a solo female traveler I felt safe. Very close to the airport. I would recommend to just take an Uber for 2$.
