Gibt nichts!

Located near to the airport. Comfortable rooms, very affordable and in a nice area. Staff were very accommodating on arrival.

Not too much.
I felt like the hostel was completely different to the one I had booked. There are 2 hostels - Casa Lipa - and Casa Lipa2, on the site. I chose the brighter, fresher one. When I got there my code wouldn’t open the door, my name wasn’t on my room and the room was very dark and old with no natural light. I contacted the owners but due to time differences we didn’t sort it. A booklet explained the 2 hostels had merged to one.

room without window, but great for one night going/ coming from airport

Location is good for the airport (under 3 kms) and town centre (about 1 km). A friendly taxi driver lives next door. This is a much better arrival/departure stop-over than San Jose (cleaner city, safer streets) and the national museum on the main square is worth a visit.
Some signage outside the front door would be useful.

Prompt response to questions before arrival. Very friendly and welcoming family.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of late shopping, and food options nearby.
Nothing.

Nice place to stay, cheap and cozy.
Not a super luxury, but ok for the price and what you can expect from it's level and the communication is great with the staff.
Not anything in particular.

I enjoyed my 1 night stay. After traveling for 14 hours, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was most welcoming. It was easy access to the building and to get the key. I appreciated the coffee in the morning.
I did not speak Spanish, so it was a bit difficult to communicate. Otherwise, I was very happy with my 1 night stay.

Clean, felt safe as a female solo traveller had locks on door with your own personal key. 15 mins away from the airport
Supposed to have quiet hours at 9pm it was loud till about 2:30 am then again at 5:30 am and 7:30am.

The owners were very kind and helpful. Beds and rooms were clean and affordable. Close to the airport.
The location was not ideal but the neighbors seemed very friendly. We had a vehicle and it was hard to find a place to park. The owners moved their vehicles for us to park in their spot.

Communication with owner was excellent. He kept in touch durin g the process as well. Thank you Mathias
It was difficult to get into the box for the key. It was dark and its located high up. I could not see the numbers as Im short and there was no light. Eventually with help from Taxi driver, who also had difficulty seeing the numbers I was able to retrieve the door key. There was no staff until 9 am and no breakfast served. I unerstood that there was breakfast when and if requested However Dona Maria graciously made coffee after she arrived and I appreciated her daughters help with contacting a taxi with her phone I support self check in cause my flights always arrive late and its a good option for me however. The system has to be improved with easier access. with light and better location. The bed was comfortable, lots of toilet paper and clear instr uctions in room however there was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom that should be looked after and cleaning the sink could be improved.

Great stay with really lovely family, adorable youngsters, sweet doggo and bunny rabbits!
Room rather noisy. as adjacent to street No aircon in room, just a fan. Look for the bright green paint- there is no signage (perhaps they want to make one up)?

Beautiful rooms, well decorated and clean with very comfortable beds. Lovely family run business close and convenient to the airport (30min walk)
It's very noisy, but things get quiet after 10pm so it didn't bother us, tv reception is poor and when booking in booking.com the room description says you have a private kitchen, when booking I was under the impression each room had a kitchenette which is one of the reason I booked this room, however it is in fact a shared kitchen with several rooms and the host family.
