What a place! Great space for the crew and the girls especially loved the backyard space to play soccer. Wonderful view and the sunsets are great. House exactly as described and very well appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our trip to Massachusetts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hingham. The house was fantastic and well maintained. The rooms sizes are ample so lots of room for all of us to spread out. The house is on an amazing lot with a great view. It's a very short walk to World's End (nature preserve) and we visited there more than once. It's also easy to get to other locations such as Boston and Plymouth. Communication with the owners and property manager were super easy. My family said this was one of our best vacations. I would definitely stay in this house again. Can't say enough nice things about it!

The house was spacious and clean and well equipped for a Thanksgiving get together with family. It is a stone's throw from the water and great hiking trails...town is v close by...I bet its beautiful in the snow and in the summer! Richard was super helpful and accessible.

House is spacious and perfect for a larger family to spread out. Outdoor space is perfect for summer barbecues. Location is excellent for both local activities (beaches, shops restaurants, parks) as well as taking a jaunt into Boston (ferry to Boston is an 8 min drive from house and is a scenic 30 min cruise through the harbor to land downtown). Would stay again.

Great location. Excellent beach for all ages. Sweet historic town. Good restaurants. Everyone asking when we can do it again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Hingham. The location is terrific. Richard is extremely personable and helpful. Most of the house is lovely. Pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, toaster, towels and bedding all provided. Beds comfortable. Unfortunately the basement has some moisture issues so we only used it for the laundry room. Also the air conditioning and window unit in the upstairs king bedroom is iffy making it not so comfortable in summer weather. The garden was very nice for the children to play in while we sat and chatted on the deck. Easy to access Boston by ferry. Walking to The Worlds End was beautiful. We had a lovely trip….

Came up with our kids and grandkids for our youngest’s graduation. There were 11 of us, we stayed 5 days. House was beautiful. Plenty of space, including two bedrooms for our daughters who have young children. Beds were comfortable - I slept so well. Back deck and yard are fantastic.
The kitchen was well equipped. We cook at home a lot (one reason we rent BNBs) and this house had everything we needed. And plenty of dishes.
Owner was very responsive and accommodating.
Hot tub wasn’t working (the only reason I rated a four on accuracy of listing), but the part had already been ordered, I’m sure it’s been fixed by now.

Wonderful! Everything was very accurate with description and it was very clean, every where! Great location and a beautiful home. It was a pleasure to get to stay in this home.

This was the perfect home for a family gathering after the loss of a loved one. The home and area is quiet and serene. You are literally in the back of the Worlds End nature reservation, but still close to shopping and dining areas. The home is clean and the host, Richard is just a text message away and is very attentive and responsive to your needs as a guest.

We arrived to a welcome gift of beautiful chocolates and a detailed manual. The home is beautiful and sparkling clean and all of our needs were well-met. The most special features (to us) were the view, the hot tub, the large patio and the oversized dining table (perfect for guests). Overall, a perfect place to stay.

Our family gathered at this lovely home to attend a family wedding in July 2022. The home and outdoor space are top-notch - beautiful inside and out. Plenty of room for all with 3 living areas and a fabulous deck. The home is stocked with everything one might need. Appreciated the excellent communication with the owner, Richard. He was quick to respond when I texted with questions. I have lots of experience renting VRBO properties and this is one of the very best. Would I rent this home again? Absolutely!

There were 11 of us- so plenty of room. Richard was very attentive to our needs. House very comfortable.

This is the third time my extended family has stayed in this beautiful home. There is room for us all (10 people) at the dining room table, a comfy room to watch movies, hang out, talk, and an outside table for a star lit meal. We loved cooking together in the kitchen. The hot tub was an added plus. The yard is huge with one end looking out over the bay. Every morning our walks were in Worlds End, a unique conservation land a short walk from the house. The house was immaculate and both Richard and Dennis responded immediately if we needed anything. We are already talking about reserving for summer of 2023. You will love your stay here.

Enjoyed our stay
The rental was very nice and with a good location. Neighborhood is very quite and friendly. House had all you needed and we would likely stay again. Need to disclose a few things - the beds are creaky, so much so you are afraid to move in the middle of the night. We highly recommend the owners invest in beds given the cost of the rental. Same for doors, both the front and the back doors need maintenance. We had to keep locking everyone out of the front door and the back would not lock. The hot tub was unusable, we tested the water which needed alot of chemicals but none were available. You also have to supply your own wood. The fridge needs the filters replaced, the ice was a little gross so we bought some. Proximity to the beach is awesome and access to Worlds End is very convenient.

This location was perfect for our three generation gathering - the first time that we were all together since the beginning of the pandemic. It was a joyous reunion and the house and setting enhanced this important event. The house worked very well for the adults and children (three toddlers and two pre-teens). Lots of space to relax, an easy kitchen for cooking and a great dining room for conversation and laughs. The deck is sizable and worked well for relaxing, casual meals and a wading pool - which we brought - for the toddlers.
We loved World’s End reservation and made use of it every day. It was great for walking, biking and letting toddlers run. We used the kayaks twice. Use was very tide dependent and the kayaks need to be carried across the road. Doable.
The kids loved the fire pit! S’mores every night. We also enjoyed being close to a variety of take-out options, supermarkets and ice cream, Nantasket Beach, the carousel and the arcade were a nice added attraction.
Finally, Richard as a great communicator and very responsive.

we loved the house and property, other than the cadence of a couple of the stair cases (caused a few trips and a fall also it would be nice to have a hand rail at the top of the basement stairs). We would definitely come back and would recommend it to others. We loved the views and the spaciousness of your home. It was an incredible place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

Comfy house with water view
This is a charming house which is roomier than it initially appears. Very well equipped kitchen great for us cause we mostly eat in, even had a coffee grinder which we used daily. House has very comfy lounging chairs in living room and family room and a great deck with gas grill that we made generous use of. Very comfy beds. Sadly the hot tub stopped working early on — owner responded quickly but was unable to get fixed. House has central air but we found some unevenness (cold on first floor, hot on second floor) exacerbated by the significant heat wave during out stay. If a concern you might check in with owner in advance. We never got around to addressing it. All in all, a lovely, comfortable house and a great location.

Great for families
Richard and Beth are great hosts and kept a ongoing dialogue with us and were extremely helpful by pointing us to great local dining spots and activities.
House has a magnificent view and was very comfortable for our 4 kids. It was a great spot to hunker down for a low key family vacay.
Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Such a comfortable house with a terrific large deck and garden leading down to the water. Kayaks for four people to kayak at once (One two man), ping pong and many family games. Very comfortable (but creaky) large master bed on the ground floor. No blinds/curtains so bring a mask if you need to. I loved opening my eyes to the view but husband needs pitch black to sleep. Amazing location for kayaking out, walking/running in World’s End. No bike - we rented from a local place. Really enjoyed our time here and would very much like to return.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Richard’s gorgeous home in HIngham for the Thanksgiving holidays. The house was situated on a large lot that had a beautiful view of HIngham Bay. It was only a short walk to the bay and to World’s End State Park where we hiked most days and enjoyed the views of the Boston skyline. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The large living and dining areas were perfect for our family and the kitchen was a delight to cook in. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us and gave us lots of dining, sightseeing and hiking suggestions. They even spend time showing us their home and how all the electronics worked. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again and give it a five star rating!

Glorious week in Hingham
Our family had an amazing stay at Richard’s home. He was extremely easy to work with and had an on-site property manager readily available for any issues. We loved using the kayaks and the beach chairs, toys and umbrellas were plentiful. We walked in World’s End daily and loved watching the sunsets from the back deck. The home was spacious and well equipped and came packed with everything you would need- truly a just-bring-your-toothbrush type of rental! Our kids enjoyed ping pong, air hockey and many of the lawn and board games.
We would LOVE to return to this gem!
Thank you!

Ideal location and spacious property
This is our second vacation in this beautiful home. There were 8 of us (and for a short time 10). There were so many areas inside to hang out, read, play games and watch movies we all had space to do what we wanted. One important thing for my family is to have a dining room table big enough to accommodate all of us. We had lively meals all together last week. The yard is breath taking. Sit on the deck and relax while looking at the sunset over the bay or walk to the other end of the yard and feel the breezes coming off the water. The fire pit and smores were a plus. The kitchen was easy for 2 - 3 of us to cook in together. This home is one of our favorite places and Richard goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need.

Beautiful home in super location looking on to bay. Perfect for a family of all ages. A positive and memorable stay.

Unbelievable spacious home and perfect location
We couldn't have asked for more. Richard met us at his home and gave us a warm welcome. The house was completely clean and ready. The kitchen is fully outfitted for any cooking you might like to do in addition to a large gas grill on the deck. What was beautiful was the expansive yard that overlooked the bay and sunsets. There were 8 of us for one week and not once did we feel cramped. I think it was the only house that could accommodate us all, and sometimes 10 at the dining room table. Since eating meals together as a family has a lot of meaning for us, that was important. You are a few steps away from Worlds End and many of us started our morning jogging or walking through this gem of a park. High tide we kayaked right from the house or waded in the bay. 10 minutes at the most and we were on Nantasket Beach with crystal clear water. The Stop and Shop near by rivaled any grocery store I've been in with a huge organic selection, a dedicated isle to wine and beer, fresh fish and great meat department. Trader Joes is right across from the grocery store. So really all you need is within a short walk or ride. We are already coordinating our calendars to pick a week to return for next summer.

We had a wonderful time!
My family and I stayed at this house for the week of Fourth of July. It was special! We thoroughly enjoyed the location, including World’s End for hikes, sunsets and fireworks for the holidays and how close we were to Hingham Square for shopping, dining and the parade on the 4th. We were also close to Nantasket beach and a great seafood restaurant called Jake’s. The closest supermarket has a wonderful selection. The house is great for a large family, with an open floor plan, lovely water views from several rooms, dining for 12, central AC (we had a short heat wave when we arrived), comfortable beds, a game room and board games, whirlpool tub, and everything you would need for BBQ’s on the spacious deck. It is clean and nicely decorated. Richard was great about everything! We had use of kayaks, beach chairs and coolers. Everyone was impressed how nice the house is and loved the quiet neighborhood and peaceful setting. We are grateful to Richard and his family for opening their beautiful home for us to make some lovely memories during this vacation.

A wonderful place with so much to do
This is a great property that is near the water and World's End. Between the two there were endless opportunities for walking, running, biking, kayaking, swimming, fishing and exploring tidal areas. The house itself is spacious and accommodating. 10 people can dine together inside or out and sleep comfortably. There are plenty of indoor activities as well--the ping pong tournaments were so fun we never even got around to playing air hockey. Walking across the large lawn to sit and view spectacular sunsets over Hingham harbor every night will be one of many lasting memories. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay again in the future.

Convenient, comfortable, and on beautiful property!
This is a well-loved home, very spacious and comfortable, in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, less than an hour away from Boston. It is a great rental for families, especially with school age kids. The number in our party varied each night from 5 to 9; but no matter the number, we always felt comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out, either inside or outside. There is a master suite with a king-sized bed on the first floor and 4 bedrooms upstairs, with one bathroom. The kitchen is well-supplied for big families. There was enough room to seat all of us for dinner, both in the dining room and on the deck. There is a lot to do right on the property—from ping pong and air hockey in the basement to a trampoline and zipline in the yard! Access to the outdoors is a highlight of this rental. The view of the harbor is very pretty, and we watched magnificent sunsets. The property is just steps away from World’s End, land with acres of rolling hills and gorgeous views of Boston. Richard left us a pass, good for admission for 2 adults (there is a fee of $6 per adult). We had a relaxing afternoon at a great beach nearby in Nantasket and we enjoyed delicious ice cream at Nona’s in Hingham. Richard was easy to work with and was always responsive. We are grandparents who enjoyed this time with our kids and grandkids. This is a great rental for families, as there is something for everyone!
