Rosedale Abbey

A very relaxing and quiet location just outside Rosedale Abbey. Beautiful views and interesting history of Rosedale. Lots of interesting locations to visit around the area.

Not an issue for myself, but some people may not like driving in the area, roads are narrow and the hills in the area are not for the faint hearted.

Holiday of a lifetime for us.

Our recent stay at the gorgeous cottage nestled in the heart of the awe-inspiring countryside was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in tranquility and natural beauty, creating a retreat we never wanted to leave. The hospitality extended to us was truly exceptional, setting a new standard for warmth and attentiveness. Every detail was perfected, from the cozy interiors of the cottage to the breathtaking views just outside the door. Home from home. Comfortable and relaxing. Good Central location for exploring the North Yorks Moors. Excellent views from the cottage.

We had a great stay, fabulous for cycling and walking and at the heart of the moors.

Beautiful area and cottage had magnificent views. Really comfortable. Really happy with the comfy bed. Cosy and quaint with some lovely decorative touches.

clean, comfortable, pretty garden,small rooms. Very poor service when a problem was found,ie no key

The cottage was very pretty and a good location for walks and visiting the surrounding areas. The beds were comfortable and the garden and outside area was lovely It is quite snug inside and had no cupboard space for food.

I had no information prior to arrival about the key to the property. I let the property know what time I was arriving and got an email back saying thank you. I was under the impression that someone would be there to give us a key. No key, no key code, no answer from Booking .com. Very stressful first evening, we phoned from local pub , no answer after an hour, we emailed, no reply, we used chat and they cut me off. I got a missed call at 8:30pm(we had already said we had no signal.) we had been trying since 3:30pm. we had brought our own food due to Covid but had to eat in a pub on the first night, which we did not want to do, but we were so hungry and tired by this time! Eventually my son fiddled with the key pad and by pure luck managed to crack the key code eventually. We got in very late, very tired and stressed! I expect some compensation for the first evening being ruined.
