Nothing says swank quite like this Balboa Island upper level beach house! Recently renovated and professionally decorated, this beautiful open concept home will become your new favorite hideaway.

The orange front door is a big clue that what you’ll find inside is truly special. As you enter, you are greeted by a warm and inviting living room equipped with a smart TV and gas fireplace, perfect for a movie in on a cool night. Multiple seating options make this living room versatile for entertaining a large family, or cozy enough for a romantic weekend away. There is also direct access to the spacious balcony with a gas BBQ and outdoor seating to enjoy the afternoon sea breeze. This property’s prime location overlooks Marine Avenue shops and restaurants, where you are just a short distance away from anywhere you’ll need to go.

The newly remodeled gourmet kitchen is an absolute chef’s dream. It includes modern and sleek custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas oven and range, microwave, dishwasher and all the tools you’ll need to prepare a fabulous meal. Every detail down to the backsplash and cabinet hardware was given great attention during design. The peninsula countertop includes bar seating for four, in addition to table seating (the table has an expandable leaf) for up to six .

Down the hallway, you’ll find access to all four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, all outfitted with premium linens. The master suite at the end of the hallway is beautifully decorated in shades of blue and white, and washed with ample natural light during the daytime. The double closets provide ample space to get cozy and stay for a while. The en-suite master bathroom features high end fixtures and custom tile work, floating vanity, a large standup shower with bench and frameless glass doors.

The second and third bedrooms off of the hallway are outfitted with queen sized beds, each decorated in shades of blue and white with colorful accents. The fourth bedroom sleeps two in twin beds, and has a charming beach theme in hues of blue and teal. Each room has custom closet organizers to store ample belongings for the duration of your stay.

The hallway bathroom features a shower and tub combo with sliding glass doors, floating double vanity, custom tilework and high-end fixtures as featured throughout the rest of the house.

This home also has a full-sized laundry closet with stackable washer and dryer, with laundry detergent available for your use and convenience. To make your time in the fun and sun more enjoyable, the owners have also included beach chairs, beach umbrellas and boogie boards so you can play on the sand all day at the beach. This unit also includes carport parking for one car.

Step out the front door onto Marine Avenue, which takes you to all of the quaint shops and restaurants the Island has to offer. Enjoy breakfast at Wilma’s Patio, shop for wonderful groceries and prepared food at Irvine Ranch Farmer’s Market (right across the street), or sip on cocktails at the Village Inn (known as “VI” by locals).

Perfect getaway for a few days at the beach. The home was so wonderful that we extended our stay an extra few days. Regardless, of the location being so close to Marine (Balboa Island's Main Street) and next to the fire station, it was remarkably quiet while being close to the beach and shopping. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with all the amenities you could need. We will definitely return to this property and also recommend to friends. Thank you for the loveliest stay.

We loved staying here with our family of 5 - plenty of space even though it was just the top floor of the duplex! Was concerned it would feel tight but it didn't at all. Very clean & nicely updated with designer finishes! Would stay here again!
