Amazing hosts and great location

Phil and Elizabeth are amazing hosts and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The afternoon scones and morning breakfast were both excellent. The location is beautiful across from the water and a quick walk into the village.

Lovely house and hugely welcoming hosts in Elizabeth and Philip. We were only stopping for one night on the NC500 but would loved to have stayed for longer. Highly Reommend

A wonderful stay in a beautiful and friendly B&B

Great location, incredibly friendly staff, awesome breakfast, comfy bed and plenty of room! We loved staying in the Bungalow 500, hosted by Philip and Elizabeth, and would definitely stay again in the future.

Great place and wonderful people.

Great home made breakfast. Elizabeth and Philip were endlessly helpful and informative for our onward travels. Even played our wedding music over breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay, Charles and Camilla.

Lovely, dogfriendly stay! :)

Our dog James the Leonberger was more then welcome. The room was big and many spots for him to chill! :) The reception was very welcoming. We had our own living room, bedroom, sauna and a bathroom. Very lovely. It was really clean. We all slept good! In the morning there was a very fresh nice breakfast, the coffee was superb! The location was perfect, beautiful view of the mountains.

If you're very tall (over 1.80m) then maybe this bed is on the smaller size. It slept really good, but just so you know! :)

Phillip and Elizabeth, what to say, loveliest hosts you can imagine. Open for a chat, nothing is too much. All around great experience at a 10 min. walk from the Ullapool main streets. Had a fantastic room (bothy) with a separate entrance. The bedroom has a walk in room with desk and storage space. Then we had a sort of hallway with a comfy couch and table for breakfast and a nice bathroom. In winter there is a sauna attached. Every day there's fresh coffee/tea with homemade cake in the late afternoon. Would stay again for sure!

The 'royal' hosts Phillip and Elizabeth where the most kind and generous you could wish. The rooms are comfortable, cozy but big enough and very clean. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. And don't skip the afternoon tea. The lemon cake that came with it was very nice

The road in front of the house can be a little bit busy for some people

Great hospitality in a beautiful location.

Philip was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Before the stay he pointed out that you needed to book at the local restaurants in advance which was helpful. Saw us off with a recommendation to visit a local gorge which was very enjoyable.

Host very welcoming, treated us to homemade cake and beverages of choice on our arrival. We also had access to a sauna in the room, which is a first for me. Location of B&B 10 minute walk from centre of Ullapool and harbour. Would highly recommend Bungalow 500.

Although the washroom was completely functional, I am not a fan of a wet room.

Lovely couple of nights in an exceptionally well run B&B.

Friendly, very helpful host, great breakfast with great range of choices. Tea/coffee with cake at 4.30pm was a nice touch. Comfortable, very clean room. We liked breakfast being served in the room. Location perfect just 5 minutes walk from shops/ferry etc.

An exemplary bed and breakfast experience

Phil and Elizabeth gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home for the two nights we stayed providing tea and cake on our arrival and serving excellent breakfasts, all local food and much produced themselves like their homemade greengage and ginger jam. The property is within easy walking distance of the town along pavements and is set back from the road therefore quiet. There are views of the loch from the rooms.

A small point but we would have appreciated a reading light by the settee in the bedroom.

Everything from the welcome scones to the excellent breakfast. Just a short walk into the centre of Ullapool. The attention to detail with items we might have forgotten available in the room.

Lovely, quirky property with welcoming hosts and all small details attended to. We stayed for one night to get the ferry in the morning and recommend it fully. Bed comfy and room spacious with lovely big bathroom. The tea and cake when we arrived was a lovely touch after a long drive

Phil and Elizabeth are super friendly and helpful! The room is comfy and relaxing. All the stuff are very clean. Definitely had a good rest in the middle of our journey. Breakfast is wonderful as well, lots of choice and delicious!

The wifi connection could be a little bit unstable.
