Our stay at the house on Nawita Rd was wonderful. The house is great with screened in porches, open outdoor porches, beautiful views, and a sandy beach. The views were special and relaxing. Great kayaking and swimming. The kitchen had anything you could want or need to cook with. There were lots of plates, silverware, and glasses. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Everything worked! Plus the owner was easy to contact and available when needed. Thanks for renting this lovely home to us—we hope to come back.

My extended family has been coming to Paradox Lake since the 1940's and this house is by far the nicest I've ever seen. Everything you need to have a great vacation is there, from a well supplied kitchen, to linens and beach towels, and a large TV with good WIFI and streaming services. There are lake views from 3 sides and you can watch the sun set over Blue Ridge Mountain (Hoffman Mountain) in the evening. There is a sandy beach with kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle board. If you're there in the winter there is a fireplace and plenty of firewood.
We stayed in Nawita for a week but we're hoping to come back next year for two weeks.

Everything we were promised was delivered. The house was clean and fully stocked with appliances. The view and surrounding area was spectacular.

Our two week stay at this cabin was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had. The cabin was spacious and well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, making it extremely comfortable to dine and relax at the end of he day. But the most stunning feature was the location and the deck, porch, and lawn chairs that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful lake and surroundings in all their glory. And finally, the adjoining beach on the lake provided a great place to swim, soak up the sun, and set out for a paddle in the kayaks.
The owner always responded right away whenever we had any questions.
We hated to leave and we would certainly go back again to enjoy another great getaway.

Great overall stay. Cleaning could have been better, but otherwise loved the house and location. It was the most peaceful lake vacation we have taken.

Lovely Cabin on Paradox Lake
We loved the layout of the cabin. It gave our family of 7 plenty of space with a cozy open concept design in the main living area to gather and play games. The master suite is everything you need. The cabin is about .5 miles from the main road, but the nearest town (Schroon Lake) is only about 12 minutes from the house. So you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are only minutes away from the nearest grocery store. We went on a day trip to Lake Placid (1-hour drive), skied at Gore (40-minute drive), hiked Severence Hill (5-minute drive), and ice skated and snowshoed on Paradox Lake. I cannot think of a better place (especially during a Pandemic) to ring in the New Year! It was fantastic! If you are visiting in the winter, you will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

The views are stunning and the house is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The screened in porch was our favorite place for a nap or a board game. We loved the beach and used the kayaks daily. We cant give this house a high enough rating. From the cleanliness, to the decor, to the spacious rooms, this location is a truly fantastic getaway. We loved it so much we were planning our next visit as we were driving down the driveway to head home. I will say that our children (2 and 4 years old) loved it as well but did need constant supervision given the location on the bluff. This place is an absolute gem!

Our family of 10 enjoyed a full week at this beautiful, well taken care of property. We had such a great time and felt right at home. We enjoyed all aspects of what the property has to offer. The beach, kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle board, Adirondack chairs over looking the lake, fire pit. We rented a boat and were able to dock it for a few days on the properties dock. The lake is serene and quiet. The location is great and easy to get to. Also not far from the small downtown of Schroon where there is a great coffee shop and grocery store. Reed was great to communicate with-made himself available by phone/text whenever you had a question. He and his wife left the home clean and welcoming for us. It is spacious, perfectly decorated and cozy. We absolutely loved it and will certainly book again if it's available to do so.

Beautiful home and lakefront property
Couldn't ask for a more idyllic setting on the the lake. House was great, the shared beach was sandy with plenty of available activities, and the view from the point on the property overlooking the lake was spectacular. Would definitely go back.

After our third vacation got canceled because of Corona, we were desperately looking for somewhere to go in NYS. I searched Adirondacks vacation rentals and Camp Nawita was one of the first properties that popped up. Once I saw the pics. I didn't want to look at any other place. Beautiful views of beautiful Paradox Lake. The setup is perfect. You have a dock to fish off of on one side. A stunning view from 2 Adirondack chairs on the top of the peninsula, a nice sized yard for games and a fire, then a short walk through the woods to a private beach-shared with a couple of other homes, but we rarely saw anyone else. The use of 3 kayaks, canoe and paddleboard was great. The house was spacious and big enough for our group of 11 adults/teens and one toddler. We were so content just staying at the property and relaxing and just having family fun, we never got to any hiking trails or Ticonderoga. Next time! We'll be back!
