A most comfortable and enjoyable stay at this lovely and conveniently located accommodation.

The lovely character, style and comfort of the property. Also its convenient location for visiting the town and the excellent off-street parking facilities provided. The extremely helpful advice given by the owner on accessing the accommodation was also much appreciated.

A great location to stay for either a business trip or to use as a base for a holiday in Dorset.

This lovely Victorian villa is a hidden gem, very near to Poole town centre but tucked out of the way. My host was helpful and responsive, providing me with a very comfortable en suite room. The little kitchen area with drink making and light breakfast items was very handy.

The entrance area was not well lit in the dark or signposted from the parking spaces so I wasn't sure if I had found my destination. Initially I knocked on the wrong front door but fortunately my host was nearby and came to

The breakfast was just toast and cold cereal

The host left us waiting for 20 minutes before she showed up, even though I scheduled our arrival in advance. She said she'd leave a key but then she didn't. And she had an attitude about us--maybe a class thing? I dunno. We were driving my husband's work van and she was a bit snotty about it.

An elegant, well-appointed, convenient guesthouse

Cranbourne House is a gorgeous period building so it feels like a luxurious place to stay. The furniture and fittings in the room, as well as in the communal areas, are very good quality. The location is handy for Poole town centre harbour. The parking is excellent. The hosts are really friendly and helpful.

A small thing: the shower was really good but was an overhead fixed one. It would be helpful to provide flannels to allow guests to more easily wash effectively. This is often done in hotels. The continental breakfast provided in the kitchen, as self service, was good but I think some fruit might improve it, and maybe yoghurts. However, I know waste might be a concern.

Very comfortable, competitively priced property close to the station.

The house is only seven minutes from Poole station which is ideal for the early morning train we had to catch. The house was lovely. The room comfortable and there was ample parking next to the house. All in all a pleasant stay.

Excellent - hope to stay again when next in the area.

Very convenient if travelling by public transport. Friendly, helpful and couldn't fault anything.

It was a little tricky to find by car as roadworks hindered 1 way system.

Superb

The lady sue who ran the hotel was very accommodating and helpful, and everything else was was of great value and well worth the price.. Couldn't ask for more

The only thing I didn't like and it's unrelated to the hotel... Was during the day the main road is very busy and there isn't a great variety of shops or restaurants near by unless you walk 10 or 15 minutes into town.. Besides that minor inconvenience its located in a nice and safe environment and well worth the price and stay

Ok for overnight only, probably wouldn’t be my first choice if booking in Poole again .

Having a lovely bath . Bathroom was clean. Also good to have help yourself breakfast as I did not think we would get anything, however only cereal available, no bread for toast making .

That the taxi driver could not find the property, hard to find especially in the dark .

Great accommodation and ideally situated for a visit into Poole

The property had ample free parking, and only 10 minutes walk into Poole centre The accommodation was very clean and stylishly decorated.

Ideal for visits to Poole and Sandbanks, low key breakfast and room with all you need.

The host Sue is excellent, nice big bath and ideal for walking into town. The self access modern little kitchen is great making for a place to access cereals, bread and juice.

Great quality hospitality, location and room.

Property is in a fantastic location and offers easy parking. The host was ready to welcome us and made us feel right at home. The room was stylish, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was a great gesture too, will definitely rebook.

Spotless rooms. Relaxing stay.

The rooms were squeaky clean. The kitchen facilities were handy and nice to have bread for toasting, cereals etc for breakfast. It was quiet at night. There was plenty of room for parking (the owner helped me find the location over the phone as I got a little lost!)

The only tiny niggle was the broadband speed which seemed inconsistent

an easy short drive from the harbour. Self serve breakfast provided which included soya milk. comfy bed.

I found the mirror in the wardrobe after I’d done my hair, the socket being available away from the mirror on the dresser. The taps on the sink in the bathroom were difficult to use once hands are wet. Small observations, the property is otherwise faultless.

great property, super clean in a great location. loved the kitchen facility.

it was a super cold night when I stayed and I found the room a little chilly. There was an abundance of hot water though so a warm bath and dive under the ample duvet compensated.

A friendly, delightful, happy, relaxed stay in a place where everything is thought of.

The whole experience was just terrific. After an emotional week, it provided a wonderful oasis of calm and beauty. I felt very relaxed, safe and warm and cosy. I particularly liked the plastic free and recycling emphasis.

There was nothing I didn’t like.
