Fabulous property with plenty of privacy. The location was great being close to Tamarack village and the boat ramp as well. The whole family enjoyed the lake and the mountains. Great vacation

Our stay was awesome. The home was clean and well appointed. Our only complaint was the missing bunk beds, the listing made it seem like there were two sets

This trip was a family vacation for 6 adults. We chose Huckleberry Lodge for its location to Tamarack Resort and its spacious interior us amenities.
Upon arrival I immediately noticed the extremely overgrown (knee-waist high growth of weeds that is the property. The listing photo shows a very clear “yard around the house. The overgrown weeds are so high you can barely access some entry points.
There is a very latge yellow stain in the closet of the master bedroom. The whole bathroom smells faintly of urine. The rental company was immediately contacted. They replied that they would pass my message on to their cleaning service.
The ice maker in the fridge was frozen up with a huge block of ice. No ice would dispense. We were able to remove it from the bottom of the ice container and ice could flow. The kitchen faucet drips non stop unless you maneuver it to just the right position. The propane tank for the grill was empty. We had to change it. The board games are missing so many pieces they are not playable. The “fire pit” is actually just a gas fire table. It is stated in the listing to bring firewood (despite there being a shed full) for use in the “fire pit “ and fireplace. None if that was needed.
Lastly- the house is infested with mice. We saw mice in the kitchen on 2 occasions. Frost Cabins was notified immediately and responded that they would call someone. Mouse droppings were found in beds, on tables, all over the great room floor and all over the deck.

We had a wonderful stay at Huckleberry Cabin over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. The cabin is beautiful with great views. The photos of the windows don’t do it justice. Very comfortable! We’d love to stay again!

We loved this property! Having four bedrooms and four bathrooms was so nice! It's a beautiful home and location and the deck is a wonderful place to enjoy the peacefulness. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace is a perfect touch. We would definitely go back!

Great property, very spacious, clean, and has plenty of beds. 4 miles from tamarack made it very convenient to get out and get some
skiing in during the day. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property to others 😀

Great cabin, grounds could use some upkeep but very nice and comfortable

Great house for a group of eight adults. Good parking for trucks and trailers. Lots of room for seating, dining, and crafts. Each bedroom had a separate bathroom, which was really convenient. Only complaint was that fourth bedroom has child-size twin bunks--not appropriate for a couple. Property photos show a queen/full bunk bed. Not the case.. Kitchen was well equipped and had a gas stove. Would definitely rent again, but will bring an air mattress for the "kid's" bedroom.

Out of the way, yet fully worth it. Enjoyed the tranquility with all the conveniences The teenage boys set up the loft space as a group sleeping area (although I have no idea how much sleeping actually was done). Perfect. Kitchen was very workable for feeding a large group. The large table facilitated games into the night. We all give this our approval

The cabin is amazing. All the comforts of home. The mountain setting is incredible and quiet, aside from the trumpet of the sandhill cranes, which added to the tranquility. Plenty to do see and do and communication with the property manager was without complication. Thank you!
