Great stay. Lovely private property

Great location - central to everything. Just 1km from bay park and 200m from bay view and across the road from the swimming pool and leisure centre

Very noisy location being so close to such great places. The house is a little tired and lacking a little TLC

Bring your own linen and be prepared to give it a clean

The location was handy to shops. It's got a good size fridge and Netflix.

The kitchen needs a good spring clean and a lot of attention. There are many broken items and there were no teatowls. Two of the gas knobs are missing The bath towels were in the cupboard thrown in with other bits of old unsorted linen and we question if they were clean. We're unsure if the sheets were washed as they were a bit smelly. There was an aged burger in the box in the cupboard in the kitchen. The urban myth that they don't break down is true. It didn't even smell. Bathroom OK but the lock is broken. The rug in the lounge is a trip hazard and again the fixtures are tired and in need of maintenance including holes in the wall. The house has good potential if it was looked after and cleaned properly

Great location for spectators at Baywave

Had a sport tournament at Baywave so great to be just across the road, as the carpark was often full.

Some appliances/switches didn't work. But looked like house was being renovated so is probably still on the list to do.

Location was perfect. Lots of beds which is convenient. And the beds were clean and comfortable nice place to sit outside

Very old, smelt quite awful when we came in so we had to air it out. Dishes still on the bench. Apart from that it's fine for the money

Location great and communication with owner excellent.

Would have been good to know there was a tenant on the site - he was however very nice but it just surprised my daughter to hear sounds outside. The house was obviously a bit tired but excellent value for money so no complaints. The white portable heater did not work.

The most expensive and biggest disappointment of all the accommodation on our NZ holiday.

Clean. Beds comfortable.

No washing machine, no dryer (a laundry was one of the reasons we booked a house!), dishwasher disconnected, no teatowels in sight, oven door didn't close properly, heated towel rail lying in bath, leftover prawns found in the fridge, no instructions left re where to find key/ wifi etc, only local tourist info was a Lonely Planet book WRITTEN IN SPANISH, cold building, no two pieces of linen matching... This wasn't a holiday house with guest experience in mind, but someone trying to make a quick dollar on a spare house with minimal effort.

Group getaway at an amazing price.

How close the property was to amenities. Didn't have to drive the car. How helpful the host was with all my questions and quick to answer. House was warm.

Dishwasher was still filled with dishes from prior guests we assume and had a rancid odour. We put dishwasher on to try resolve.

The place needs a bit of maintenance and in some areas need a clean. When booking I was not informed that someone lives on the property, advertised as whole house.

Exceptional

Convenient location and big clean house at budget price. Bayfair shopping center 2 mins walk from this property and we enjoyed our dinner at nice Japanese restaurant and also some shopping.

Fantastic Host, great communication. Such a great property so close to everything and lots of space for everyone.

Only improvements would be the kitchen needed a bit more cleaning and enough towels for all the guests would have been great.

As mentioned the location was great and close to everything but otherwise the stay was no good.

The location was the only positive to this accommodation.

Unfortunately, the place was a let down. The entry to the apartment was awful and in need of a spruce up. Hedge clippers were left out, and washing hanging up which we had to walk under to enter the room, both just made for an uncomfortable vibe from the get go. The "breakfast" area was a table with dirty mugs, a kettle, and empty containers which may have had cereal in them. This was found in the garage surrounded by rubbish and dust. The bathroom was awful and did not match pictures one bit. There were spider webs in every corner, a bar of soap that had been used almost to nothing was left on the sink. We booked a bunk bed room with a private bathroom and were honestly shocked at what we stayed in.
