Lovely place and great staff

The group of people I booked it for really enjoyed their stay and said the staff were amazing, and even helped out with another booking for them next week.

The only problem they had was that my brother in law is 6ft 5 and was unable to get comfortable in the bed as it was small but really enjoyed the stay

How to explain? it’s nothing what I ever experienced in my travel and hotel life. walls ,windows ,floors all dirty. toilet falling apart you need to hold with the legs when your sitting on it. mattress stained pillows yellow. and seagulls scream 24/7 outside your window on the roof.

Ok for one night but I think I wouldn't get that room again

I liked the location shower was good bedding was clean coffee making facility I didn't test the telly but there was towels available and somewhere to hang clothes

The light bulb in the bedroom didn't work I was in bed by the time I found out. the room was small but ok for one night lots of noise from drunks walking past the window but not hotel's fault, though. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable I have backache today and took me till 3am to get over.i was too hot window was wide open too. I think the stairs carpet was a bit worn in places. Overall not complaining it was OK. I would give it 7/10

Central location with a friendly atmosphere, just be aware of the possible exterior noise level

Located right in the heart of Bridlington, just a few minutes walk to the harbour. our room was clea with a large bay window that looked straight to the harbour area. The hotel is situated on a corner and a stones throw from the shops, public houses, the beach and amusements. I would say that this mainly a hotel and public house which the local population like to visit. When i first walked into the public house area it was like stepping back 40 years in time, the decor had a cosy but dated atmosphere to it. The beer was enjoyable as was the entertainent, during the first afternoon of our our stay it was Karaoke time, the vast majority of the participants had excellent voices and it was very entertaining.

Everything was fine until we decided to retire for the night around midnight. That is when we noticed high level of sound from outside our hotel, eminiating mainly from a public house opposite. High volume karaoke, and inebriated punters attempting to sing, lots of punters outside. Eventually after that pub closed and the patrons had all headed home the noise level died down, but not for long as the boy racers took over, including a motorbike. None of this of cousre is the fault of the Brunswick Hotel but i do wish that our windows would have had secondary insulation fitted to the windows.

the only thing we liked about this property was the location

we got upto our room literally had to walk sideways around the room it was that small! it absolute stunk of smoke to the point it lingered onto our clothes! my other half told the guy behind the bar and the cleaner come upstairs with a tin of febreeze like that was gonna do anything! all around the bottom of the shower was disgusting, when you sat on the toilet you nearly slid of due to the seat not been secure!!! we had been out for a few drinks and decided to have our last drink in the hotel i found the bar staff not very welcoming! defo won’t be stayin here again and wouldn’t recommend there’s much nicer hotels to stay in and a lot cheaper too!!

Poor hotel

The bed was really comfy and the room was nice and warm

The staircases could do with a really good clean and decorating and carpets updated. Felt that for the price it should have at least been cleaner
