Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

Jose & Sarah the owners were so lovely and welcoming! The property is located just outside of Tavira which was a short, easy car journey away. The whole property was exceptionally clean and beautifully designed, very relaxing environment with friendly staff.

Our bed and pillows were really uncomfortable, to the point we struggled to get to sleep every night. We’d stay in a different room next time for a nicer bathroom.

The property is set in beautiful gardens, very peaceful and quiet.

A truly memorable experience

There are so many things to love about this property. We stayed in the Master Suite in Casa des Artes and it was spacious for the 2 of us and our 14 year old son. It was immaculately cleaned each day. The breakfast was excellent - amazing home made cakes and Portuguese egg tarts and wonderful fresh fruit. The swimming pool was a good size allowing lane swimming which is a big plus for me as I swim regularly and hotel pools are often very disappointing. Jose and Sara were fantastic hosts - nothing too much trouble. We had an issue with our booking which was resolved very satisfactorily. Finally the location was perfect allowing us to explore the coast and nearby towns each day. I would highly recommend the Quinta to anyone looking for a very special place to stay. We hope to visit again in the future. Thank you Sara and Jose

The jacuzzi bath in the room was out of order and the shower in the bath was ok but not as good as a walk in shower. My recommendation would be to replace the bath with a large rain shower

Everything about this property was wonderful! We extended our stay as we truly loved this boutique resort... Jose and his staff go above and beyond for their guests.... Excellent location as close to Tavira, but out of town and very quiet... We would not change a thing, and highly recommend this property

Wonderful relaxing holiday.

Sarah and Jose are superb hosts. The property is beautiful. We had lovely fresh breakfasts in wonderful surroundings. Our room was very comfortable. Everything was well maintained and clean. There are exceptional beaches only a short drive from the property and Tavira town is very close with its wonderful restaurants.

Quinta de Santa Margarida is a perfect place for an unforgettable stay in the Algarve!

José greeted us upon arrival and words cannot describe what a tranquil and beautiful place this is! Breakfast was included and it was fresh and delicious food every day. The room and service exceeded expectations. José recommended a few places to eat in Tavira, amazing food and ambiance! Tavira is a hidden gem. Can hardly wait to be back! A@C

Excellent stay

Fantastic location... so peaceful but also very close to the beautiful town of Tavira. Rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable. Jose and the staff were terrific and very helpful with any requests. Breakfast provided was great. Would highly recommend this for some quiet luxury.

Sara and Jose were gracious hosts, peaceful setting, new, clean and perfectly located. 100%!

Breakfast was 10/10, Jose and Sara go out of their way to make it perfect and delicious. Variety of eggs, meats, cheese, cereals. Much more than a continental breakfast. It was a special way to start every morning. The property was perfectly groomed, new and done with beautiful taste. It was a calm and peaceful place to spend 5 days with amazing access to Tavira and the beautiful beaches nearby. Sara and Jose were always available for recommendations on beaches, restaurants and went out of their way to help us get a last minute rental car. We enjoyed some beautiful wine and the snacks they prepared were always special and above what we asked for. The visit and the hosts were so enjoyable we cannot wait to come back!

First class on all fronts!

My friend and I had a truly fabulous stay here. It's set within 15 acres of spectacular grounds with lovely common areas (including a great swimming pool), absolutely spotless and immaculately presented bedrooms, and a scrumptious complimentary breakfast spread. Jose and Sara were the ultimate hosts, and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible - including dropping us off in town for dinner on our first night and arranging our PCR covid tests at short notice! Could not recommend more highly.

Extra mile service with passion and X factor

The QSM team put guests firmly in first place. Be prepared to be looked after in relaxed, stress free, friendly luxury - amongst perfectly manicured lawns and gardens. Unusual requests can be catered for with style and aplomb. E-bikes on arrival saved time and eased us quickly into holiday turbo mode. A romantic birthday dinner served on the perfect grass lawn by the pool was a dream come true. Owner hosts local knowledge and local restaurant recommendations proved to be winners. D’Gusta and Artefact in particular were unbelievable value and quality. Our top tip is to hire electric bicycles for your stay. There is much to explore locally and cycling is a perfect option in this rich, abundant area of the Algarve. The secret fresh water waterfall is a 20min cycle from the Quinta. The swimming and diving opportunities are worth the trip. And take full advantage of the fantastic breakfast table which will set you up for your adventures. Obrigado team QSM. Until next time.

Unforgettable 3 night stay

This is a very special place. We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this charming country house set in a huge garden with palm trees, Bougainvilleas and a fantastic pool. The location is perfect - it is in the country side with only 4 minutes drive to the town, Tavira. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious that we had it here every morning; I really enjoyed the pancakes, the selection of fruits and the orange juice. The room was spotless, airy and very well designed; the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a good selection of snacks and drinks in the minibar; I was very happy to have a kettle and tea in the room too. Above all this place is run by a beautiful family with 2 adorable cats; they made us feel at home and were flexible with check in / check out. We couldn’t get enough of this place and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

It's a great charm house with lots of potential. They have just opened it and it still needs some time to improve little things. But the owners are very enthusiastic and will for sure make the place a wonderful one.
