We loved the cottage. We were there for personal reasons, and the cottage was wonderful to come back to after an emotional week.
The parking wasn’t great, but we were warned about that. 🤷🏼♀️

Clean but not as expected
Welcome pack but did not say where the dog treats and bed were! Dogs not allowed on furniture not stated on website but in welcome pack!! Outside gravel seating area was 1 1/2 metres squared and is used by all the neighbours to put bins and recycling there on collection day!! No milk, coffee and only 2 teabags all shops and pubs and takeaways closed so nothing in walking distance. There was a smell of damp and anything left on the floor felt damp. TV signal was lost so watched dvds and to make phone calls or texts had to walk up the hill!!

Self catering, so breakfast was excellent. The location was ideal for exploring the area. The neighbours were very friendly and the property a perfect size for our stay. Also on the bus route to local towns or to Gloucester and Ross on Wye however some services can be rather infrequent.
When it rains the television looses signal. I have reported this. The local pub is, well, local but does not currently serve food and is in need of a great deal of TLC. However, there are several good eating places within a short drive.

Lovely little cottage, ideal for 2 people. We had no problems with the parking by following the advice in the welcome pack. Friendly neighbours and great location.
Lots of DVD's, games provided for entertainment on rainy days
A light under the stairs for the dining table would be good. The lounge was bijou but comfortable

Fantastic property - small but well laid out. Complementary milk and cookies too!
Well appointed and great location
Wi-fi was a bit iffy - not a problem for us but some folks addicted to their smart phones may be frustrated

Very cosy, with everything you could possibly need
Parking situation and neighbours initially were not very welcoming regarding parking arrangements even though we parked down by the wall she wanted to park these so we had to park further down the lane

Cute little cottage, nicely laid out, comfortable bed and sofa. Very peaceful and quiet location
More than one loo roll might be nice bearing in mind the cottage is for 2 people for a week! If you want to fry an egg for breakfast, I suggest you pack your own pan because the one provided is not non-stick. Bring your own toiletries as non are provided

Lovely little cottage, small but very cosy. Bed was comfy. Milk and cookies nice touch. Quiet village location and enjoyed the local pub, the malt shovel.
Parking was bit tricky as nowhere specific to park. Got blocked in so yeah the parking isn't easy. Few toiletries would be a nice touch. No garden.
4.0 / 5.0
The parking was not ideal as trying as there was no parking at the cottage
