A beautiful cottage, perfect for my needs and felt like a home away from home. Would happily return. Host was very welcoming and great communication leading up to arrival.
Nothing to note.

Very comfortable, clean a real home from home. Our second visit and will return again. Guy is a great host.

Everything. Guy met me in person to give me the keys and show me how everything worked in the house which I really appreciated.
The little touches made this really special like the well thought out interior design with different themes in each room, including a children's room complete with story books!
Also appreciated the tourist information guides, that helped me plan my visit, and the washing machine was very handy.
Set down a quiet lane in a small village which felt very safe and had off road parking directly outside the house.
Great location for exploring the Forest of Dean.
Truly dog friendly - Guy met my dog when we arrived and is clearly a dog lover himself!

The cottage had everything we needed and more. The place was immaculate and very comfortable. Good size that fit all four of us well. Guy was the most amazing host and really goes that extra mile.

Guy was a great host, he met us and explained everything we needed to know about the property and more.
The heating system was a bit difficult to understand but it wasn't too cold so we didn't bother.
Not a negative but the bedrooms could do with a small chest of drawers or wardrobe, e.g. in the children's bedroom there is space.

The location was great- easy to get to the hiking trails in the Forest of Dean. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. It’s a perfect location for a remote get away!

Guy was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Cosy comfortable cottage with good facilities. Lovely log fire for the perfect evening with a bottle of wine on those wet days.
No where within walking distance to eat out.

The host Guy was extremely helpful and when he met us on arrival it meant our stay was hassle free. Loved the open fire and the extra touches made when renovating the cottage. Location great for short drives to many activities and sights in the Forest of Dean.
Nothing, couldn't fault anything, we'd definitely re-book in the future. All mod cons and lovely cosy cottage.

This property caters well for small family stays. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living room was cosy (helped by a great log-burner) & parking outside the property was easy. The host was excellent and only a text away if we needed anything. We stayed with a young child and small dog, so it was very helpful to have a dust pan & brush, Hoover, clothes drying rack and cleaning products provided.
Instructions were provided but we couldn’t get the radiators to produce much heat. I’m sure the host would’ve helped if we’d asked, but it wasn’t a major problem thanks to the log burner. The cottage is lovely and compact - not a negative at all - but you may be a bit cramped if you were a couple staying with older/taller children.

The owners had done a fantastic job at doing this cottage in the way they have. The location is very quiet and convenient for sight seeing.

The owner had tried to think of everything, it was a little home from home. Bed was very comfy, we both slept like logs through out our stay.
There isn't a toilet upstairs, which we didn't realise when we booked.

The property is incredibly clean and tidy.
It has everything guests might need and the owner
went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable
as possible. I am an NHS professional and this
short break in the tranquillity of the Forest of Dean
district was much needed.

Decor was tasteful and fresh, the furniture was comfy and the hosts had thought of lots of nIce little touches like: milk, tea and coffee; spare toothbrushes; children’s books and games and leaflets on the local area.
