We liked the house, and the fact that they had a good supply of toilet paper, trash bags, and enough towels for everybody!! Beds were comfortable, the dining tables and counter still and the living room sat all of us!
The house is dated mixed with some updates. The game room loft did not have any air, so no one in our group slept there. The layout looks like it was built at different times- laid out with bedrooms inside other bedrooms and the game room entrance through one of the bedrooms.
If you have a mold allergy you should not rent this location.

My family, friends and myself were recently here for a week. Upon arrival we met the property manager who was super friendly! Upon entering the house it was very clean! The house had a room/bed for everyone and they were all comfortable. Unfortunately they were a few minor issues that could’ve been fixed with some communication. They had the septic drained while we were at the home, later that day majority of the house was smelling awful. The very next day a worker was measuring windows right outside of someone’s window. The schedule of these maintenance issues should’ve been communicated with our group to help arrange not to be at the property. The docks ladder needs to be fixed not super safe for someone to use. There are steps down into the shallow lake. Great place for kids to play. Overall we would stay again but would love better communication!

This is a very big property with plenty of beds and bathrooms for our big family. The beds are all very comfy! The fishing went well we caught enough keepers for a fish fry, some right from the dock! The screened in area is wonderful ! I want one at home now !! Yes there are some things that need to be addressed, but..it didn't stop this family from having a wonderful time together! Thank you for sharing your property with us !!

I cannot say enough about how ideal the location and view is. It was terrific.
Be prepared for a rambling home with steps up and down. The problem is all the little things that were not working. Lights bulbs were out, switches were in weird locations (although most were labeled). Both sinks in the main bath were stopped up and we had to get a plumber out, which was done very quickly. One door would not open from the outside but would from the inside.
There was storm damage and some windows were broken and boarded up. There was a screen door off a hinge and should have been removed. This was all stuff that should have been repaired.
The main source of frustration is that I tried several times to contact the property manager several months before we arrived with questions about parking. I could not phone her and she did not answer my text/emails until right before we arrived. We had also arranged to meet someone at the property several months in advance so that we could get an idea of sleeping accommodations for a family reunion and how well the kitchen was stocked. After a two hour drive, we were stood up.
After we arrived, she was very quick to answer the questions we had.
Parking was an issue. We were able to get 8 or 9 cars inside the gates, but it took some imaginative maneuvering and parking at Possum Hollow. There is a lot of junk in the garage that we were expected to park in. It should be cleaned out if guests are expected to use it.
Overall, it was workable.

We came out with a large group of people. We really enjoyed the screened in patio with so much space for cooking and eating, it was just quite warm in the evenings with the sun shining in directly.
The kids really loved the water, it was perfect for small children with the steps and the depth!
The kitchen was also very spacious with plenty of seating.
The bedrooms were a little oddly placed with some being walk throughs to the others, but plenty of beds of everyone!
The bathrooms were pretty nice with the exception of one shower not working that was greatly needed.
Fishing at the dock was very slow though we caught a few nice sized large mouths! and were able to dock our boat there just fine! The cove was a No Wake Zone so it all felt very peaceful with not much traffic coming through!
All in all we had a wonderful time! With some minimal changes like more light bulbs, cleaner doors, maybe some shades in the screen room, it would have been perfect!

A large group of us stayed for a weekend in May and had an incredible time in our third visit. We had trouble with the guest house toilet, but they were very responsive and quickly sent a plumber. We hope to stay again in the future!

It was nice being on the lake, over all house, needs alot of work. Fans don't work, outside kitchen don't work. No toilet paper...... Some lights don't work. TVs didn't work... No phone service.

The host was very accommodating and responsive. The house was clean and prepared for our arrival. The place is family friendly. A few areas of the house could benefit from maintenance. The pictures of the rooms were accurate but it could have been helpful to have a layout prior to arrival of the house set-up as some rooms are off of other rooms and join rooms, etc. Overall our family had a wonderful time! Thank you.

We had a large group and everyone had a bed!! It was perfect!! Super clean and great location!! The lake was beautiful!! I love that it has 3 big refrigerators! Plenty of space for all of our food!! This is our second time to stay here!! Will definitely be back!!

The property is a complex and perfect for large groups.. The game room and the screened in porch were a real bonus. There were several maintenance issues that need to be addressed, however.

My large family stayed in this home in June. We did experience issues with the property where one of the ACs did not work and the outdoor kitchen was out of order. The property manager was responsive and provided the best solutions possible for our stay.

The house fit our family well. (9 adults and 2 babies) Some of the rooms are arranged in a funky way, so there isn’t much privacy in those rooms, but there are lots of beds and places to go. We really enjoyed the game room with the pool table. The location on the lake was great and the dock was perfect for our boat. The house is definitely showing its age with lots of things needing repair and it needs a nice deep clean. We didn’t use the screened in porch area because of the heat, but the house stayed nice and cool. The beds were comfortable. Check in and out was easy. We had a wonderful visit, but would probably try a different house next time.

WiFi is NOT available as advertised. Multiple TVs in very room that cannot be used due to no WiFi. Cannot communicate with host, no landline and no phone service due to…again no WiFi.
Could not complete check out procedures As requested because there was no laundry detergent.
Landscaping unkept, fire ants in one bedroom. No guest book with instructions, or general information on property. House was not sufficiently clean. It was very expensive, which we were fine with but we’re expecting the experience to be on that level and it most certainly was not. We are regular VRBO renters and this has been our first bad experience.

Gem of a find for large groups!
We stayed for 4 days over the New years, and this was a gem of a find on VRBO! Hands down the best place we've stayed in as a large group! The party hall is just amazing, with the entire group able to hang out there.Karaoke, Movies, fantastic grills, and bar, and a perfect fireplace! The game room was amazing as well, with Pool, Foosball, Air Hockey and a Poker table. The place was well stocked with towels and linen, had enough pots and pans to feed an army, and a wonderful backyard to play in when the weather cooperated! There were enough beds and rooms to sleep all of us comfortably. The only downside was that the heaters and the fireplace in the party room weren't working but we got around it... Communication with the property manager was prompt and hassle free! All said and done, it is a fantastic place that we would highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Great place large groups
We just had our family Christmas gathering here and it worked out perfectly! 13 adults and 14 kids taking from 11 months to 17 years. Plenty of space for everyone to sit and visit, play games cook,, sleep etc. Never even had trouble with only 3 bathrooms since we kept the master bath open for use by all. Tons of counter space for food, snacks and drinks. Well stocked spices, dishes and toilet paper (which doesn't always happen) - we did have to run and get some trash bags though because forgot to pack them j.i.c. My husband, dad and some of kids enjoyed the boat house and it's design, very easy park and tie up the pontoon boat (didn't use lift since meant for v hull.
Overall we give it a full 10 stars and will likely be back next year.

Beds for Everyone!
A group of 10 ladies spend the weekend for an annual retreat. We picked this place for it's proximity to DFW, the number of beds and the large meeting area. This place fit the bill, the beds were comfortable, the view on the upper deck was lovely, the game room lots of fun. The indoor/outdoor kitchen area was interesting and I have never seen so many televisions, level changes, or doors. There is no close shopping so make sure you bring everything you need. The restaurant is within walking distance so that is nice.

Wedding Weekend
This property is absolutely AMAZING! This house is the perfect place to host a family event. We rented this for our wedding weekend and everyone had a blast. PLENTY of places to sleep. By the end of our trip everyone was asking for the listing so they could plan to come back with their own family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This house is great for entertaining with all the amenities you could want! 5 min walk down to the fox hollow restaurant (excellent) water front with great views! Property management was awesome! Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

Epically exceeded expectations!!
We saw the pictures, but seeing the house was mind-blowing. The large kitchen especially was incredible. We rented a boat from Naylor by the Water and had an incredible time in the water. The backyard has a perfect arrangement of steps down into shallow water where our kids loved to play. The hosts were lovely and responded quickly to all my many questions. We weren't originally planning to make this an annual getaway, but we certainly are now!

18 family members gathered for a wonderful family reunion at this beautiful property. It easily accommodated us with plenty of room to spare. There was plenty of entertainment for all ages provided on the property. The response of the property managers and the ease in getting ahold of them made this an enjoyable stay for all! Thank you for providing such an excellent rental!! I would definitely rent this property again!!

This house and the amenities suited our large family very well.
Plenty of room, lots to entertain kids - young and old, nice dock to swim from and park boats, easy access to everything we needed. Property managers were very easy to work with. Will definitely book again next year if possible!!!

Great Place for Large Group at PK Lake
First of all, I would like to thank the property management/owners for being so accommodating for our groups as our original weekend was during the winter storm that we had this year.
We had 10 people in our group and the house still had plenty of additional beds. We didn't leave the house for the weekend and had plenty to do from fishing, playing games in game room, and watching The Masters (plenty of TV's). The Big Green egg was perfect for grilling.
I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a good getaway with plenty of room for multiple families.

Fall Fishing Trip
The lake house had so much to offer and we particularly enjoyed the short distance from the boat ramp, the party room was the icing on the cake being indoors but having all of the outdoors amenities :), the game room was another bonus room and we all loved playing games for our nightcap each night! The house was very spacious, very nicely furnished and provided higher end bedding that was very comfortable, the boat dock is enclosed for a little cover and the kids very much enjoyed fishing off the dock and the property is close to several restaurants with boat access as well!! We had a very nice stay and thank you for sharing your amazing lake home with us!!
