Well appointed apartment. 2 kitchens. A spacious bathroom in every bedroom. Lots of keys for security. Took us a day to get used to what key for elevator, door, gate, but made us feel secure.

The apartment was beautiful and well equipped. They made the hot tub into a cold tub because it was so hot out and it felt great after a day of walking. The only problem was the AC broke on half of the house the day we got there. They notified me and offered a full refund if we wanted to cancel, but we were a family of 9 coming from California that day so we stuck with it. It wasn't great for 5 of the 9 people bc they couldn't sleep, it was so hot. They tried to fix it when we were there and were very apologetic. Elizabeth the house manager was awesome. She was so helpful, available, and professional. I will recommend Lucca Apartments to everyone I know that's taking a trip to Italy.

Wonderful apartment huge, exquisite decoration and yet homely for our party of ten (five couples). Thoroughly recommend it, location excellent within city walls with many superb restaurants & attractions within an easy stroll. Absolutely no down sides . Only thing….we only had four sets of keys for five couples needed comms between us to ensure access if we weren’t all together. But honestly lovely holiday in superb apartment- great support and info, appreciated!

We’ve stayed at the penthouse twice and would never leave if we had our choice. It’s pretty much perfect , but if any minor issues arise Elizabeth handles everything seamlessly.She is as amazing as the penthouse!!

The apartment was clean, air conditioned and located close to everything. Each room had its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchens were equipped with all basic needs. Washer and dryer worked well although they could not be used concurrently. The initial arranged meeting time was delayed. The multiple keys were cumbersome. One of the bathroom showers had only hot water. Air conditioner in one of the rooms was weak.

We had a wonderful time staying in your five bedroom apartment! I have a couple comments: Imwas not notified about the renovation going on! When we drove up, it was quite scary! Once inside everything was great. I was told we had access to washer and dryer, which we did, but; very, very limited, which should be communicated to the party renting. Very small appliances and we could only use one appliance at a time. Just needs to be communicated on the limited amount you are able to use it. One of my friends fixed the WiFi! The spa was not heating, but they sent a repair man a couple days later. All in all, we enjoyed staying there very much! Great location! Elizabeth was nice to work with!

The apartment was well-managed and extremely clean. We did have a problem with the shower draining poorly but that was quickly taken care of. Elizabeth was a prompt and helpful host. The keys were sometimes difficult to work in the locks but I guess that is part of the charm of an older building and old locks.

This place in nothing short of amazing! It was perfect for our multi-generational group of 12. It was huge! Spaced out so nicely that we all had our own nook if needed. Everything you need is provided. The decor is fabulous and the location is excellent-hop, skip and jump from the center. If we needed anything, they were answering msgs immediately. This is a 5 star place. We couldn't have been happier! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa!

Liked the apartment, very well decorated and had everything you needed. The location was excellent, close to shopa and restaurants and about 15mins walk to the train station. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Keep up the good work, can't think of any changes or improvements.

The penthouse apartment was amazing, beautifully decorated and furnished. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the agent kept in touch to make sure everything was going smoothly. Lucca is a beautiful unspoilt city, with great transport links for getting about. We did without a car for the week and didn’t miss it at all. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fabulous apartment right in the centre of beautiful Lucca, couldn’t fault it. Only challenge was the very strict rules on recycling not made easy with the apartment rubbish bins and lack of bin bags! Would not hesitate to recommend.

Our family of 9--grandparents, children, grandchildren--spent a week here and loved the apartment with its 5 bedrooms/5 full baths and two salon areas and two kitchens. The street is a quiet one but very close to any attraction. Our hosts were great and very prompt in answering our texts/calls/emails. The apartment, named "The Medieval Penthouse" was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed with artwork, frescoes, and murals. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed here with our large family of 10 in both sides of the apartment. The apartment was well located, everything being walkable within the Lucca walls. The apartment is absolutely beautiful! We had 4 kids with us, so we had to hide away most of the fancy breakable items during our stay. We also used rain ponchos to protect the fabric kitchen chairs from spills from kids eating. The host was very responsive and we enjoyed taking advantage of the recommendations in the welcome book. Thanks for a great stay!

A beautiful, well appointed apartment in a great location. Perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Lucca. Manuel, the Concierge was particularly helpful prior to departure, recommending some good restaurants and suggesting a walking trip in the hills of Lucca with the wild trail guide company - a great day out.

Wow…amazing apartment! Beautiful interior, clean, and a perfect set up for large families. Lucca was our home base for visiting the Cinque Terre and the Tuscany region. It was so nice to return to such a comfortable place after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommend!

A truly unforgettable experience.

This rental unit is absolutely incredible and fully stocked for a shortlong term stay. There are enough plates, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. to make your own dinner for many guests. My family and I stayed here for four nights, there were six of us total. We each had our own room and bathroom, apart from my mother and I who shared a room. The apartment is very large, but warmed up quickly during our winter stay (the thermostat was easy to use). The pictures are very accurate and actually do not do the apartment justice as it is more beautiful in person! The location is excellent, you can walk all through the centre of Lucca easily and even use the free parking lot that is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on how fast of a walker you are (we drove). Manuel met us at the apartment promptly and let us in, showed us around and answered all our questions. Thank you again and we hope to book with you again soon.

Una settimana da nobiltà L’appartamento è tanto bello quanto le foto promettono. Soffitti altissimi, affrescati in tutte le stanze, divani in velluto, lampadari imponenti, quadri, affreschi con le attrazioni di Lucca, vasca idromassaggio e un arredamento in generale molto curato e sofisticato. La posizione è perfetta per girare Lucca e in generale la Toscana, in due minuti sei in piazza dell’anfiteatro e in 5 sei fuori dalle mura, dove di solito parcheggiavamo la macchina. Purtroppo dobbiamo segnalare una scorrettezza inizialmente ci era stato richiesta una cauzione maggiore a quella indicata dall’annuncio per la nostra età, cosa che è contraria alle policy di Airbnb, e che contattando l’assistenza abbiamo sistemato. Sonia per il resto è stata molto disponibile a risolvere i piccoli problemi che abbiamo riscontrato.
