Great place to stay. Lovely host.

Best full English breakfast that we’ve had ever! Host was lovely and very attentive. Will certainly visit again, even if it’s just to pop in for breakfast and some of the lovely cakes on offer! Accommodation was roomy enough, with great tea/coffee making facilities and the bed was very comfy.

Lovely staff and great value

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable: perfect for a pit stop for a nearby wedding. A lovely breakfast included, too. Fantastic value for money. Thank you!

Perfect location - can't fault it!

The Station Guest House is a perfect location for your stay in Woodbridge, the accommodation is unique and has a nice feel to it, I was very happy with all aspects of the accommodation, the location and the nearby parking were a bonus!!! Carla was brilliant and very helpful; I will be staying here again!!!

Hidden gem in Woodbridge

The staff was amazing I have family in town and this small 3 room B&B is well within walking distance to entire town. It is located at the rail station and the town cab service is also located there. The room was one of the nicest I have stayed in anywhere in England. And very secure. I was a solo traveler from the USA Room would easily accommodate 3 adults. The online photos are really what you get I booked because of the bathroom. Small but modern and charm at same time.Had no issues with train noise at all

Not a dislike but you have to climb stairs to get to your room. Full enclosed shower was amazing

Wonderful character B&B/Cafe in superb location with lovely owner and staff

Beautiful, character B&B set in the old Station Master's house, attached to the railway station at Woodbridge. I travelled by train so this was a perfect location for me. The rooms are upstairs, above a lovely cafe also run by the B&B owners where breakfast is served daily. Great food and prices, as demonstrated by the constant flow of locals with tables hard to find (tables reserved for B&B guests for breakfast). The owner and staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, made my stay very enjoyable. The station and B&B are set next to the river with beautiful views and river walks on the doorstep. The town itself is lovely too and only a ten minute walk from the B&B with lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs. I highly recommend and will certainly return if I am in Woodbridge in the future.

There is some noise from the trains running through the station, but this it to be expected, of course, and didn't bother me personally at all.

great location ,we found some nice walks and places to eat and drink.

Location was brilliant, near to everything in the town, the owners were very nice and accommodating and the breakfast was great.

Rooms in the delightful Station House

Stayed two nights in the Station Guest House. Building and rooms are quirky, but you are in the station master’s residence. We had a room with glorious views overlooking the River Deben. You are above the station platform but didn’t find the trains a problem. Foot bridge next to the guest house gives access to the river and short walk to tidal mill and longshed housing reconstruction of the Sutton Hoo ship. Breakfast was plentiful served in the cafe below the rooms. Check in is limited to 12 ‘till 5. Not a problem for our late arrival as Carla had notified us that the keys would be in a key safe for use.

Very convenient for everything, lovely view from room, clean, friendly and lovely breakfast

Quite overlooked into room from railway footbridge but not a big issue as kept curtains drawn that side.

The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Furnishings new and were given plenty of towels. The owners and lovely housekeeping lady couldn't be more accommodating and polite. So warm and lovely overall

A very convenient play to stay in a lovely spot with excellent service and breakfast.

The room was great and had a lovely view over the estuary. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also excellent.

Space in the bathroom is limited, although that didn't bother me much. The loo seat was a bit precarious!

Very good

Carla is an excellent host and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breafast was very good. Easy access to the river front and town centre.

Room security was a bit basic and even though rooms were fire separated they were not acoustically rated. Access to my room was via a narrow staircase so best not to travel with a big bag like I did.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were able to answer questions about the local area.

I liked the range of food options, so I was able to choose some simpler options instead of a full English Breakfast. Good to see that a Vegetarian option is available. Good range of Hot and Cold Beverages too. The view of the River Deben with the boats & countryside from all bedrooms is lovely.

Some people may not like the trains arriving and leaving, but they are 1x hour in each direction, so I didn't mind at all. The train service starts & finishes at a reasonable time too. They will be quieter once the engineering work to the tracks and level crossings finishes in April 2023.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the station guest house. Great position in the town with good local shopping and many great places to eat! Wonderful view of the river Deben from the rooms and good walks nearby. The owners were welcoming and breakfast was excellent!

The rooms are in the top floor so just be aware there is a flight of stairs to climb!

Lovely Stay

Carla our hostesd was fantastic; a mine of information and the food was really good. We had the cafe breakfast room to ourselves in the morning with a roaring fire. We hardly heard the trains and the access to harbour walk was great

I burnt myself on the towel rail so watch out and check the temperature. Check out is early at 10.30..
