Friendly staff, clean
Stairs but they can’t do anything about that

Right in the heart of Woodbridge. Very traditional old village accommodation with lashings of hot water.
Strong small of cooking in my bedroom on the last night of my stay maybe due to the function going on down stairs. Bathroom starting to get a bit tired.

The quirkiness

Food was excellent
Unfortunately I got next to no sleep as the property is extremely old and the floors are not even, the bed was significantly slanted and every time I rolled over I felt like I was going to fall out. Luckily there was only me. The room was also very hot and the quilt on the bed was thick. When I got up I wanted a cold shower but it was borderline scolding and despite turning the handle all the way to cold and leaving it running for a while, it did not get any colder.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, brilliant staff spotlessly clean nothing was to much ,food was excellent good choice of beers and wines nice that the owner came round at breakfast and asked if everything was OK. Definitely coming back
Nothing couldn't fault anything

Staff. Evening meal. Room.
Felt there could have been a table in breakfast room with juice, yogurts, fruit, toast jams, cereals milk.
Cooked breakfast was good, but just cooked breakfast.

Fantastic location & locally-produced breakfast.
Tiny bathroom- but no big deal!

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The location in Woodbridge is perfect. The owner and all of the staff were really lovely. Our room, The King Suites were so spacious and the bed really comfortable. We only ate breakfast there but it was really tasty and freshly cooked.

Perfectly situated in the middle of Woodbridge. We loved the EFG prints everywhere and the explanations in the room.
we also booked for dinner. Lovely dining room where we also ate breakfast. Delicious dinner and breakfast.

lovely staff, great location right in the centre of Woodbridge, the breakfast was gorgeous
as it is an old building, the windows are very thin which meant we could hear a lot of noise from the street

Location perfect. Staff attentive and professional. Very comfy bed. Car parking very easy and convenient if booked. Historic place to stay. Good food and cooked breakfast choice. All table service and it would have been nice to have some self service fruit and pastries.
Scaffolding outside window and roofer walking past. Owner not sympathetic. Wet paint outside room and splattered carpet. I know these are temporary but it isn’t what I expected for a fairly expensive room and I feel we should have been informed before our stay.

Friendly staff who looked to enjoy working there and fantastic food in the restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely old pub. My room was spacious and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Wi-Fi stopped working so could maybe there is a glitch that needs looking into. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Loved this place, right in the centre of town, big comfy rooms, nice food
Not all rooms suitable for those with reduced mobility, lots of stairs and I dont remember being warned of this or asked about my mobility during booking.

Remarkably good breakfast.Excellent choice, quality and amount. Room comfortable with nice touches like the teas and coffee biscuits etc.Very helpful friendly lady at check-in. Good atmosphere in this historic pub and although busy all the staff were polite and friendly.Loved the location in the centre of town.
Booked 3 rooms. One of these ( room 5) was not the same quality as the other 2. Small and quite dark, possibly from the scaffolding outside. No hesitation from staff to move us to a better room. Thank you. Everything else was spot on!
