beds were comfortable, very convenient having fridge in room. close to car park
shower leaked through glass panel’s, shower head needs jets / holes unblocking, shower mixer doesn’t work in one direction.
glass door was at an angle when we arrived, shower light blew at 10pm and wiped out all the lights in the apartment. to be fair to the owners, I reported the shower light and the door the next morning and they were fixed before I arrived back to the property that same day.

It was like being in studio flat. A good sized room, with separate shower room . The location being inside a town was unexpected as all we could see from the first floor window were trees and it was very quiet. I lived near Park Road for 35 years and went up and down every day. I remember the two bungalows being bought and joined together and the front car park being built, but I had no idea this little lodge camp was at the back. An innovative idea well before clamping pods became a revolution. The lodges are made from good quality log cabins and well maintained, although noise is a slight issue. A team of 3 in a golf buggy doing the cleaning and they seem very efficient. Having a key lock means that it doesn't matter what time you turn up you can get into the Lodge. You have your own special key lock number. The room has a television and free wi-fi. I don't need to go south very often, but I would definitely indeed consider staying here again.
THIS IS BEING VERY PICKY. I could cope with two plates, bowles, cups and cutlery etc. But the only cooking utensils were a spatula and a tin opener. The kitchenette area was very small, needed a light and if you had washing up on the draining board absolutely no where to prepare anything. At the very least you need a bread knife and a chopping board. A salt and pepper would also be helpful. The hot plates are now very old and take a long time to heat up and with the timer you tend to forget that they get turned off automatically. The bar with two stools does not work particularly well in my opinion. Again with the items they leave on the top (much appreciated) it was very difficult to have room to even make a sandwich. I believe a small table and two chairs would be far better. The shower (a little tired) needs a towel rail for the hand towel. The only place to put it is through the shower cubicle handle, plus somewhere to put a bar of soap in the shower. Leaving the bath towels on the hooks inside the room was okay. The important part is the beds and the mattresses were not particularly good. Squidgy, but with a hardish top. Newer firmer mattresses are needed. Similarly I understand that having poly/cotton bedding is easy to wash, but the feel when sleeping is again not particularly good and even cheap cotton bedding would be a bonus. Being on the first floor we had a set of outside stairs to go up and beneath was a concrete path with quite a lot of rubbish. 5 minutes would have cleared it up, just an attention to detail. I repeat that this is all very picky and I think it is helpful for the owners to have this feedback. On the whole I was happy with the accommodation.

The fact I could cook meals
Nothing

Location within walking distance of Didcot main shopping centre & station if required. We also love the self catering facilities as has everything you would need. This is our 4th stay at these lodges as convenient for visiting our relatives who live in Harwell just 2 miles away.
There was nothing to dislike in our opinion but definitely prefer the ground floor lodges to the 1st floor we had this
time as being in the elderly bracket, it was a bit difficult carrying our luggage up the wooden steps but understandably being a last minute booking during the summer holiday season, this was the only one available but it served our purpose of the visit.

The room was very cosy and had everything we needed. Shower was fabulous and clean.
Can’t really fault room or parking, but only annoying thing was next door to us whoever was in there were banging and smashing stuff around most of the night. Especially after we wanted to sleep after the long drive down not ideal.

nice room better than an hotel doom
great place to stay but not next week because we want to book again
4.2
Great little unit with ability to cook if you wanted to. Warm and clean in most places
There was hot drink making items but no milk. Some uht would be good as we had no idea so hadn't bought milk with us. So had no breakfast tea.
4.2
Location, clean and warm and good shower
One of the beds was very squeaky and rocked. No teaspoons. Some smaller glasses would have been appreciated.

Our stay was good but wouldn’t stay in 14 again as it’s right over where the cleaners wash everything I guess, so you can here the washing machine and banging about, we had a late night one night so had a lie in but woke up to a leaf blower at 9:30am and he was at it for about an hour.

Really loved the services available (small kitchenette came in handy.) Was also kept very clean and lovely that towels were provided on the beds too.
The wildlife in the area were also very active which was lovely to see and interact with.
The walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbours quite clearly.
4.2
Great location and a very clean room which had all the amenities needed.
4.2
Ideal location for the purpose of our trip.
Despite being a first floor unit, would have preferred a blind to close on the door. Mirror in the room would have been useful.
The laundry room on the ground floor underneath our room was rather noisy. My partner did speak to the supervisor, when a later start time was arranged, allowing us to sleep longer.

Location was excellent the property was very quiet. Enjoyed the Red Kites flying around.
Did not like being upstairs poor description on Booking .com website would not have booked it had we known given my disabilities.
4.2
Space was used well and lots of free parking. Great shower.
No blinds or curtains on glass door. Sun shines straight on your face when sleeping from 5am onwards. Seems to be quite a few long term residents staying in other units. No WiFi received in Lodge 14.
4.2
Parking and location, maintenance guy was prompt and courteous when needed, very friendly staff, heating was excellent, lived up to expectations,
I didn't like that we could hear our neighbours talking and watching TV, I don't think that they were exceptionally noisy just thin walls.
There was poor lighting in the kitchen space.
4.2
Location, privacy, parking and access were all very good. The room was nice and quiet and expected facilities were all present.
The window blinds and glazed door let a lot of light into the room during the night from the lamps in the car park area. Despite taking other action to filter out the light it was strong enough to mean my wife and I suffered sleepless nights. The room really should have curtains on the window and door to stop the street lights disturbing occupants' sleep.

good size apartment for 2 people, has everything you need for a short stay. would stay there again.
Bedding needed ironing very badly creased and little dusty round skirting boards.
4.2
All clean and all you needed for a stay was included.
no dislikes.
4.2
Free parking. Independence. Sofa and TV. Free wi-fi. Kitchenette adequate to make own meals.
Room was very hot despite the electric fan. Bathroom very small with nowhere to hang towels or put toiletries. Shower itself excellent but nowhere to place soap / shower gel. Room generally was smaller than imagined. Needed a light over the kitchenette area. Table very small and stools for eating area not easy for someone older.

Location
Pictures make it look spacious, but in real life it should be for 1 person and we are small people. Microwave was dirty and although the owner came and gave it a clean when I went to use it again, still had a strong curry smell, the reason being the top of the inside was still dirty.
