About this house rental
Calling all trailblazers and view seekers to Vista Bonita!
Welcome to your secluded family retreat in the heart of the Sedona beauty.
Located in a peaceful neighborhood in the highly desired Chapel Area, this 3300-sq-ft space is your luxurious home base for endless outdoor adventure — explore the otherworldly red rock buttes, take in the breathtaking architecture of Chapel of the Holy Cross, or contemplate the tranquil energy of Cathedral Rock’s vortex — all waiting for you outside.
The space
With vantage points from nearly every room, it’s no wonder why we call it Vista Bonita.
Living and Dining Area
When you enter the home, you will find the entire space is decorated in a warm, earthy palette with accents of cerulean blue, saffron yellow, and geometric patterns, inspired by Arizona’s Spanish influence and Native American heritage.
The living room and dining area have an open floor plan with plenty of natural light and a large walkout terrace overlooking Sedona’s fiery backcountry. The plentiful seating, gas fireplace, flatscreen TV, and large windows makes this the perfect space for the entire family to gather for popcorn movie nights or early morning meetings to map out the adventure of the day.
The modern, fully-stocked kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and a wide breakfast bar designed for entertaining and meal prep. Then, the whole family can head over to enjoy a hot home-cooked (or take-out!) meal in the rustic dining room that comfortably seats 10.
Upstairs Bedrooms
Your crew can choose from 3 spacious bedrooms on the main level — the owner’s suite (with king bed, walkout terrace, and en-suite bathroom), the secondary suite (with king bed, 2 twin beds, walkout terrace, and en-suite bathroom), and the third bedroom (with king bed, and vaulted ceilings — this bedroom has the best views with an entire wall of windows looking out at the amazing red rocks!). The second floor also has a third half-bathroom to ease up on any bathroom-sharing struggles.
Game Room and Lower Bedroom
Climb down the stairs, illuminated by skylight, to the basement where kids (and kids at heart) will be delighted to find an expansive game room equipped with all kinds of fun: a poker table, foosball, yoga mats (for indoor and outdoor use), and cocktail arcade table with over 60 vintage games (Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Galaga, etc.)
The basement also has another flatscreen TV, giant comfy sofa, gas fireplace and a walkout to a patio with a hot tub — perfect for watching the sunset over spectacular red rock formations. The fourth bedroom has a king bed and 4 more twin beds to accommodate larger families (Vista Bonita sleeps up to 14 guests total) or to host spontaneous basement slumber parties.
The outdoor fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. On the contrary, end your day with an old-fashioned cookout in the backyard. Sitting at the picnic table with your family and good food, you’re in the perfect spot to encounter one of Arizona’s most magical (and award-winning) attractions — an unobstructed view of Sedona's star-filled night sky.

The home was perfect for our large family. More than enough space, games for all ages. and perfectly located to town. Also very clean. We are very happy with this home, we could not have asked for anything more. It was exactly what we needed for our daughters wedding and our family's Sedona adventure!

My family of 9 adults and one infant stayed here and it was just wonderful. The house is very spa ious with two gathering rooms…..and we enjoyed the hot tub too! The view out of the living room window was stunning. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is was very very close to the house. The house sits in a great location and we enjoyed staying there. The owner was very helpful in answering questions prior to the trip and checkin was super easy.

This place was exactly what we needed to accommodate our large family during our stay in Sedona. The views were amazing especially at sunrise and sunset. Everything was so clean and well kept. We enjoyed the location and the convenience of the nearby trails too. Can’t wait to come back, it was everything described in the listing and more.

We really enjoyed our time at the house. The beautiful house with large windows and spectacular views. The house was clean, well stocked, comfortable and had extra blankets for the chilly weather. Would definitely stay again.

It was an amazing property about 15 minutes from the center of Sedona. Close to all of the hikes. Great for multiple families , especially with kids. They loved the sleeping area downstairs and the game area. Kitchen was perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dinner!

Awesome Family Vacation- Great Location
Awesome family vacation with great views of the Red Rocks. House is located just south of downtown - which was nice. We walked to hiking trails at Cathedral Rock. House had three nice sized bedrooms upstairs and more bedrooms downstairs.

Dissapointed with Sedona
I found Sedona to be way too crowded. Traffic was horrible. Restaurants were in very short supply. The house we stayed in needed updating and deep cleaning. Small appliances in kitchen were old and quite honestly a fire hazard. House did not even have a broom or mop. Host did rectify the broom situation but never did receive a mop. Views were beautiful.

Amazing view
Wonderful place to stay- comfortable in every respect.

Wonderful house and location
We had a fabulous time at this property. Beds were comfy, everything was wonderful. Our only suggestion- which was a huge problem- is to have more seating space in the kitchen. Bar stools would have been just perfect. The house sleeps 14 but there isn’t 14 spots to sit in the kitchen. Bar stools against the counter in the kitchen would have made it perfect. But still- it was a wonderful house. Host was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating.

Art group stays in sedona
This is our second time staying here, and it met all of our needs. The only problem we encountered, was that the outdoor grill had not been cleaned and when we turned it on, flames shot up from all of the grease! We had to deep clean it before we could safely grill. Otherwise, the game room rocked, and those views are amazing to wake up to!

Perfect home base for our art group
We spent a week in Sedona, painting and hiking. This property was the perfect home base for our stay! The kitchen was well-equipped, there was plenty of seating (both for dining and lounging) and the hot tub and game room were huge hits! We have already booked again for the spring.
