Lovely home, super spacious. Easy access to St Charles trolley, several neighborhood eateries and supplies nearby as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was great for getting to all the areas of the city quickly - Tulane, Freret, Magazine, the Quarter and Frenchmen’s. House was very comfortable for all of us. We had some trouble with the TVs, but we shouldn’t have been watching TV anyway. I think I was having trouble receiving their emails when I requested help, so I would be sure to double check communication before my next stay.
Every single person in our group of 9 told me that their bed was extremely comfortable. We had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The weather was bad for much of our free time, so we couldn’t enjoy the pool as much as we would’ve liked, but for the little bit we did, it was great!
4.7
Everything was very nice & comfortable. The host & hostess were quick to respond to our questions. The four-block walk to St Charles Ave to catch the streetcar was pleasant. NOLA is hot, and we dealt with it! There were 7 elderly (75-year-olds), moderately active adults in our group; we’d all like to go back and stay in the same place one day.
4.7
Everything about the place was great. Very cozy and quiet location.
4.7
This property was everything we needed space-wise. It could use a couple little extra things to make it perfect (a tiny bit of coffee, oven mitts) but overall it was the perfect house! Great location, clean house with plenty of space and amenities!!
4.7
The house is looks and is laid out as it appears in the listing. The furnishings are cool and eclectic. The pool and backyard are awesome and private. The house is situated within walking distance to the French Quarter, the Garden District, Museums, the St Charles line and many other features. Great restaurants and bars are near by in the business district and on Magazine street. While being at the center of everything it is on a quiet street with little traffic. I will stay there again.

This house was perfect -- beautifully decorated, with pretty spot-on amenities. The rooms were all very comfortable, and most have their own bathroom, which is perfect for a group of business colleagues like the group I was traveling with. The location was great (everything was an uber ride away), and we felt safe in the house.
The communication with the hosts was tough -- most of the emails were automated, and there wasn't a clear depiction of what to do/who to call in an emergency.
We ended up seeing a handful of mice during our stay, and when I called the number on the listing, it went to voicemail -- I never received a call back. My email went unanswered for 3 hours, and finally, when someone wrote back, there were repeated guarantees that traps would be dropped off, but none were dropped.
We also asked for a late check out, and while that was approved, the cleaning crew entered the house at 10a (before the specified check out time, let alone the approved later check out time).
I've never left a bad review, and I hate doing it here, but these hosts need to be better about communication and dedication to their space. A number to text should be provided at check in. Calls/emails should be answered quickly. Traps should have been dropped off that day/night when the mice were first encountered. The cleaning crew should have been made aware that a late check out was approved.
Here's hoping this review is incentive for them to continue to improve their standards.

Except for the lack of heat the place was comfortable Could have had more places for belongings in bedrooms and baths
4.7
Great location and great house with lots of room and well-furnished with most everything a big family needs for a fine vacation.
4.7
The layout of the house is awesome. 3 master bedrooms is a definite bonus and the pool was great. The house however had no heat, and when contacted the property manager nothing was done….it was as if they thought I was lying. We had to use 3 space heaters to heat up the place. On the last night we found mouse droppings on the counter and in a bag that had snacks inside. There were gaps on the windows where rodents could get in. The fridge and ice machine had mold, so buy your own ice and don’t use the fridge water. Lack of TP and paper towels so we had to purchase our own. Limited towels and no pool towels. Was it a bad place, not really but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Two families for pre-Thanksgiving meetup. Spacious and comfortable. Nice pool. Good location.

Lovely restored historic home with comfy beds!

We had a small get together of 8, plenty of space, the pool was nice, and shipt or delivery is available to this location if you’re not wanting to go out every night! The hosts were amazing, super prompt and courteous. It was safe and the whole home was warm, charming, and exactly what we needed!

House had beautiful old NO character....pool and quiet space at back of house great for hanging out. Never waited more than 5 minutes for Ubers. Good location to go to various neighborhoods of NO. Kitchen has the basics. Grill was new and worked well.
Great stay!

We planned a family trip with six adults. The house is centrally located, was clean, and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. My only recommendation to the owners is that they install bars in the showers to assist older adults. I highly recommend this house.
4.7
We truly enjoyed our stay in NOLA and the house! Great location that was close to everything! The house was adorable, with so much space and we really appreciated having the private pool to have a much needed relaxation day and break from the heat!
4.7
This house is perfect New Orleans. I would not say it’s within walking distance of anything but a corner store but it was close enough to everything else. I would say, make sure nothing is left I. Your car- we saw two smashed windows a few homes away the first night we were there. The pool is wonderful. There are 2 washers and dryers! And every bedroom has their own private bathroom except one! The kitchen has absolutely every thing you need to cook any meal and that’s no exaggeration!
Over all we loved it.
4.7
We rented the house for family and friends attending my daughters wedding. The house is beautiful, well decorated and plenty of bathrooms and rooms. We could walk for breakfast, walked to the streetcar to go to French quarter and just hung out for a day in the beautiful pool. The hosts were responsive and helpful. My family from Maine said they would rent again. Overall was an A++.
4.7
Great property, great location (between French Qtr & Garden District). Loved the character of this unique property. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Loved the pool. Made for a truly unique spring break experience for all ages in our group!
4.7
This property was a bit of a mixed bag for our group (2 families of 3 and a grandparent). I'll report on the good and the bad to help you get a full picture.
First - Our host was great. She communicated well and often. She was empathetic, concerned, and kind.
Property & Rooms - the house is as you see it in pictures. Cute, clean, historical. The kitchen and laundries are handy and the decor is thoughtful and to the period. The layout & rooms were exactly what we needed. Storage and "flat" spaces is the issue. Several of the rooms had no storage solutions for travel essentials - no drawers or chests or even closets for clothes. We were in the main suite and kept our clothes in the closet in the back room. The showers are tiny, my husband is 6'3" and we selected our room based on the available shower. The bathrooms don't have vanities or spaces for setting out makeup or keeping your toothbrush.
Amenities - Unfortunately the internet was undependable. Cox was to blame for most of our internet outage but even once we got internet back it didn't reach the back bedrooms. The pool is lovely and was quite warm despite the 60 degree weather. There's a new gas grill.
Location & Security - the trip began with just the women and children of the party and frankly, we didn't feel safe. Upon arrival we were approached by a solicitor. She didn't come back so we think it was someone with a legitimate one time need but it wasn't a great first experience. Unlike this sweet property, the streets and buildings around it are quite run-down and didn't feel secure. Sadly, there was an arrest in front of our house on the third morning which confirmed our feeling that the area was unsafe. The small spaces between the houses were gated but not secure - anyone could just open the gate. Our car was broken into one night but it's our fault for leaving a door unlocked. I was really hoping to be able to walk to the heart of the city half a mile away and that was just unreasonable.
Food - if you decide to stay in the area plan to have a "take out night" from Heard Dat Kitchen a few blocks away. SUCH AN AMAZING MEAL. I really can't say enough.
In all, I would stay with this host again, but not at this property. I hope this helps you understand what to expect if you plan to stay.

This house was perfect for our group. It was a little chilly while we were in town, but the patio and heated pool area was lovely! Also great to have 4 full baths when traveling with a group of girls!
4.7
Wonderful place and I think it's haunted! Bonus! Great pool too!
4.7
This was the perfect property for my 40th birthday. The space was perfect for grilling and enjoying family time. When we decided to venture into the French Quarter we were able to easily navigate the street car.
I would highly recommend this property. The neighbors were super friendly too
4.7
We had a fun stay. The house is great. the neighborhood is coming back. overall a good time.
4.7
The owners were so accommodating with schedule changes. Pool was a great distraction for the youngest! Close to streetcar, restaurants, walking distance to so many things. Also very easy to Uber/Lyft! Great family vacation!
4.7
Everything about the stay was great! Communication was quick, the streetcar is a quick walk from the house making it so easy to get around, and the house was perfect for our group.
4.7
A large house perfect for a group of friends and family to stay in together. The house looks exactly like the pictures, and charmed everyone who stayed there and dropped in to visit. Having two washers and dryers was a bonus for three families who all needed to do laundry after a week of travel. Pool can only be accessed through back bedrooms, so plan on putting someone in there who doesn’t mind people coming into their space. I would have loved to have seen something that referenced the history of the house, like just how old it is. House is minutes away from the sports arenas. I would stay in this property again, great experience with property and property management team.
4.7
beautiful house & location was perfect. will be staying again.
4.7
We enjoyed our stay and will return. Check in was easy, house was as described and well supplied, and the pool was wonderful for our children. We would and will stay here again.
4.7
This home was perfect for a short stay in New Orleans. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and private. The location isn’t far from the street car if you want to ride that to all the night life. An Uber ride is cheap as well. We had our own car and were able to park right outside the house on the street. The pool was perfect for cooling off during the hot days of August. The home is even better than the photos and we would not hesitate to stay here again! Beautiful renovated home! Communication with the owners before our stay and during our stay was excellent

Beautiful and Spacious Home
I stayed here with a small group for a bachelorette in New Orleans and we loved it! We spent a lot of time in the pool and just relaxing around the house. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and the home had everything we needed to enjoy our long New Orleans weekend!
4.7
Family Trip
The home was nice. Could've been cleaned better! Trashed was running over out of trash can and smelling in front of the home..and the air didn't seem to work very well. It was warm and stick inside.
4.7
Best vacation ever
Our stay in New Orleans could not have been more perfect, and a lot of that has to do with this wonderful home! We had a wonderful time relaxing in the pool during the day and it is just a quick trip to downtown for night time adventures!

Amazing eclectic property
Loved the decor, furnishings were awesome, house was wonderful, trolley 2 blocks away took us right to French quarter

Great Location and House
We had an incredible time! There was a group of us there for a birthday and really enjoyed how spacious this property was. Also it was easy to get around in the city as the Saint Charles streetcar was a couple blocks away. The pool was so nice to relax after a day of exploring!

Very nice restored historic shotgun. Comfortable beds, great showers, A/C and fans, plus a swimming pool! Kitchen well appointed with small appliances and kitchenware to cook if you want. We were family of eight (over 50's) and after long day of sightseeing enjoyed coming back to relax. Easy access to freeway as well. And just a few blocks to St Charles streetcar. Our hosts kept in touch and that was appreciated. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our experience at this property. It was a short Uber/Lyft or trolly ride away the French Quarter and Frenchman’s street. We loved the decor and it felt spacious for our group of 9. Great pool and outdoor space as well!

The house was great - just as pictured. The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy but we walked all over and it was fine. The manager was very responsive when we had an issue and worked to resolve it ASAP. Would stay here again.
