With lofty ceilings and large picture windows that let in an abundance of natural light, this bright and comfortable home in downtown Anacortes will place you right in the midst of Washington's coastal beauty. Follow the ramp leading up to the front door for easy, step-free access, and make yourself at home in the open, air-conditioned great room with a plush sectional sofa, a window-side dining space, and a polished kitchen with stylish cabinetry and stainless steel appliances that include an induction range. Take your dogs for a walk around town or to Cap Sante Park, come home to toss the day's clothes in the private washer/dryer, and light the gas grill in the fully fenced yard in preparation for a homemade dinner. As for your evenings, relax while streaming your favorite shows or movies on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV in the living area.
This home is one of three individual rentals on a shared piece of property in downtown Anacortes, each with its own fenced yard. And one of Washington's most spectacular state parks - Deception Pass State Park - is 11 miles south, where you can take in an incredible view from the bridge and explore more than 20 miles of saltwater and freshwater shoreline on Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands.

Cozy little place right off the alley with the downtown restaurant strip and the marina within reasonable walking distance!

This little house is perfectly situated for vacationers. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is bigger than you’d expect, enabling a family to cook together. Each bedroom has its own air conditioner / heating unit. The WiFi and streaming service work well. This is our new go-to vacation spot for a summer getaway!

This was the best place we’ve stayed so far! The location was perfect. Very cute, cozy, well equipped. We really enjoyed it!

Such a great spot. We walked everywhere, it was perfect!

Great location, walking distance to the main drag. The place was clean, quaint, and comfortable for our family and baby.

Located in a back alley with sketchy neighbors. House was clean, but too many air fresheners concealing musty smell.

The house was updated and had what we needed. The living room, kitchen, and eating area were perfect for our family of 4. The bedrooms smelled somewhat stale like sweaty clothes, which I think was due to the bed pillows and comforters. I don’t think those had been washed. The house was not as clean as I had hoped - mold in shower and washing machine, dust buildup in dryer, dust bunnies on floor, and the bedding didn’t seem clean. The neighborhood was not the nicest, but it was a short walk to nearly everything in town. Overall, we had a nice stay. Anacortes is beautiful, and we were able to see and do a lot while we visited.

This property has an ideal location!! Walking distance to everything you could need, restaurants, bars, shops, grocery store, dog park (if you travel with pets), and the Marina. The Anacortes Farmers Market is always a highlight to my trips there, so I was thrilled that the property was literally right down the alley from the Farmers Market and from Mad Hatter's Ice Cream!! The property was clearly renovated and they did a great job. We had everything we needed and with the exception of a couple minor details it was comfortable and clean. It was partly a working vacation for me so I was pleased that the property had high- speed reliable internet. There was great parking for our van right near the entrance, but just know if you ever find yourself in Anacortes without a car that staying at this location won't leave you wanting for anything.

Beautiful cozy home close to downtown Anacortes. Close to mountains and outside adventures. Took the ferry in Coupeville to Port Angeles for several nights to explore Olympic National Park, breathtaking!! Bed was comfortable and shower was fabulous, heated floor a plus in the cool weather. Will be back ☺️

The property was great! We did have a little trouble finding it when we arrived in the dark, but everything was smooth and straightforward after that.

This cottage was extremely convenient to downtown Anacortes and had the added benefit of being cozy, comfortable and very clean. We would stay here again.

The kitchen had everything we needed since we cooked most dinners in. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable. This cottage is in an alley behind another property but downtown Anacortes is very safe and you can walk everywhere.

This was a great spot for my family and small pup to make as a landing spot. Super convenient to downtown where there are plenty of places to have coffee, shop, snack, and also convenient to a great walk along the marina up to the top of the hill. Having a small little yard, sectioned off for our pug made it really convenient.

The unit itself was very nice. Owners should always make sure that the unit is fully stocked with essentials though.

We had a great stay in Anacortes in this home! Just a quick walk downtown & an easy walk to Safeway. We had perfect weather for exploring. We’d definitely stay again!

My sister and I stayed here during the annual Shipwreck Fest and the location was within walking distance and perfect for us. The inside of the unit was very comfortable. If you're looking for privacy or ample parking, it wasn't the best. The front door faces a fence and your 'back yard' (which was a small patch of grass separated by a wire fence which was shared with 2 other units) was very very small. We knew this but weren't prepared for the noise from the other tenants being outside past the 10:00 pm quiet time. We had one parking spot very close to our front door which was great but due to the festival our other parking spot in the front was non-existent. It would have been nice to have a guidebook (like many other rentals have) in lieu of a cardboard standee with limited instructions. We were instructed to 'start a load of laundry' when we left but there wasn't any laundry soap, for example. The garbage can in the kitchen is very small in comparison to the recycle can and again, no instructions regarding what to do with the garbage or recycle. Overall it was a good visit and a good unit. I would stay there again but perhaps one of the other units with more out door ambiance.

Very pleased with our stay… awesome place and location. It wasn’t our accommodations that was problematic, it was Vacasa. Our phone wasn’t working and they wanted us to call them to answer security questions before they gave us the code… they had our payment sand all our info and we still had to phone them. Thanks to the lady at the post office for loaning us her phone or I don’t know what we would have done. This was stressful and security overload! Not pleased withVacada at all!’!!!

We loved staying at this property. It was so clean and new. The layout of the house is great; large bathroom and family area. Walking distance to the marina, grocery story, whale watching tour and downtown. Very close to the ferry port, hiking trails and sea kyaking. Easy to get to Friday Harbor and the other islands. My only suggestion would be to have a binder with information about the home and area. We couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioning which was ok because it was cool enough with the window open but it would be nice to have some instructions. Also, the adjustor on the shower head wasn't keeping it up and we couldn't find any information on who to call. We found an extra shower head in the bathroom drawer so we just installed that one instead and it was fine.

Cozy House and Convenient Location
We will definitely stay here again when in the area visiting family. Walkable to most things in the downtown area. House had very nice finishes and details. Made the home extra cozy and comfortable during our visit. Highly recommend.

Good location in 'old town' right next to the farmers market pavilion and a short walk from a bunch of family stuff.

Wonderful vacation cottage
It was a wonderful place to call home for the short vacation our family had. Very clean, warm decor and has every appliance we could need. We definitely recommend this cottage to anyone that would be making a trip to Anacortes.

Beware of Poisonous Plant on Site
The house was fine, though a bit expensive. When we had to whisk our pup away to an emergency vet service, we discovered that a toxic plant was growing as a large weed just beyond the entry steps. We informed the local manager while we waited at the emergency vet to find out if our dog would make it (it doesn't take much to kill them). After 24 hours of care (stomach emptying, treatment with activated charcoal, and constant monitoring), our dog did make it, but there was no effort to remove the plant (nightshade) while we were there, and there was not even an effort on their part to reach out to us and check on our dog or offer to cover part of the $900 vet bill. Pretty disappointing.

Great house. Very poor location on a back alley
House was new. Inside it was perfect expect for the fact that neither the wifi or the tv worked. These were issues that should have been resolved BEFORE we checked in, not four days later.

better than home
Comfortable luxury for people traveling with dogs. We enjoyed the new appliances, the heated floor, the A/C, and comfortable furniture. There's plenty of room and everything is coordinated. This is a great location to use as a base camp in Anacortes.

Could not cook - Disappointing
The info about using the stove didn't help. The burners didn’t turn on. Were all of the pots and pans suitable for the burners?
