About this bed and breakfast
Beautiful, relaxing & spacious room with seating area, mini kitchen, small flat screen TV, tea coffee making facilities, bathroom with separate shower and bath.
First floor room approached via stone steps.
Farmhouse accommodation is provided in our newly converted stables.
The stables were for the heavy horses used on the farm until the 1960's, they were converted into luxury accommodation in 2011.
There are 3 rooms on two levels, each room is a beautifully appointed studio apartment with a bathroom or wet room.
The 2 rooms upstairs each have a small cooker, fridge and sink if you wish to stay in for the evening, otherwise there is a wide choice of excellent inns and restaurants in which to dine in the area.
The stables on the ground floor are suitable for disabled access.
The rooms are warm, comfortable and spacious. The beds are all King size and dressed with Egyptian cotton linen and down duvets and pillows (unless you are allergic to feathers).
Breakfast is served in the dining room of the 17th century farmhouse or on sunny mornings if you wish in the garden.
We cater for all diets; gluten free, lactose or nut intolerant, vegan and vegetarian, just let us know.
Parking is adjacent to the accommodation. We welcome cyclists and walkers and can collect you from the rail station in Crewkerne (just 2 miles away).
Located just opposite The Haselbury Mill Restaurant.

The welcome. The friendliness of Mike and Mary. The Fabulous room. The garden. The field for our dog to run in. The superb breakfast. The fact that everything needed to make our stay comfortable had been thought of.

The room exceeded expectations, very atmospheric, gorgeous furniture - and very spacious. And the owners were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious - lots of choice, amazing local bacon and tasty fruit. My highlight by far was having a tour of the garden and getting to meet the delightful pet pig.

We stayed in the jasmine room, which was stunning. We went for a wedding over the weekend. It's a lovely part of the country. The owners were welcoming and had a great sense of humour. Amazing people. The local cider blows you away along with the scenery. We got to feed the pet pig, who is an incredibly friendly animal.

Our second stay at Lower Severalls. The Jasmine room is large and airy with a good bathroom. We always enjoy the excellent breakfasts that Mike puts on, and the friendly hosting they both provide. It's a relaxing and quiet setting to spend a long weekend, enjoying the countryside and local restaurants. We will certainly be back.
