Situated directly above Navarro Beach and River, this one-of-a-kind home offers a spacious second-story open floor plan with a chef's kitchen, including a gas range, steam oven, warming drawer, and those fantastic views! The perfect space to spend quality time together. Enjoy looking out at the river, beach, and ocean from the wraparound windows and glass doors leading to the upper deck. You will also find a guest bath and a separate queen bedroom, including access to the upper deck on this level.
The ground floor offers a second bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite, and patio slider to the back deck.. The third bedroom is a large Primary suite that features a gas fireplace, and an en-suite including an oversized soaking tub and walk-in shower. A total of 6 people (3 couples) stayed very comfortably at Rio Luna in April. What an amazing house! It overlooks the Navarro River and Pacific Ocean. The open kitchen was very functional and fun to cook in. We were originally going to eat at a restaurant on our second night, but we decided to "stay in" to take full advantage of all this house has to offer. Very memorable stay and we hope to be back someday!

My friend and I had the best getaway at Rio Luna. The staff at Mendocino Preferred were so accommodating and kind. I had messed up our reservation and they were able to help me correct it. Then when we arrived it was absolute perfection. The home was so comfortable and just stunning. It was close to so many activities amenities so we never felt bored. We both wished we could have stayed longer!

Rio Luna exceeded all of my high expectations! The house is beautiful and takes full advantage of the amazing views. It was equipped with anything that we could have needed and Mendocino Preferred made sure check-in/check-out and all communication was simple and flawless. The location of Rio Luna is ideal! We were able to explore the coast from Manchester to Fort Bragg with ease and also drive highway 128 through the Anderson Valley, which may be the most beautiful drive I’ve ever taken! Thanks for sharing this wonderful place, we will be back!

This home is delightful. The location is wonderful though it’s tricky to find. Follow the directions , not the GPS . This home is welcoming and has a calming feel to it. Loved the music posters and lyrics throughout the house. You look down on Navarro River from the kitchen and dining windows. Such a unique view. The oval windows at the end of the living room and also in the master bedroom suite look out through the trees to Navarro Beach and the ocean. A pretty and interesting view. The upstairs is open and airy and comfortable. Unusual fireplace , but it puts out nice heat and burns a good fire. Nice on a foggy or wet day. The upstairs bathroom is amazing and is across from the Queen bedroom ( which is just ok). The kitchen is so well stocked with cookware, dishes , glasses, etc. It’s a kitchen for those who like to cook. Both bedrooms downstairs are massive , but only the front bedroom and bath is redone. It’s lovely. The other room though large and practical, it is dark and stuck in the 80’s. Needs a refresher. Other than that no complaints. It was so nice to bring our two dogs own h a nice home. Mendocino Preferred was great to work with. We’d definitely rent through them and would return to Rio Luna for sure.

This is our second time at Rio Luna. We chose to come back because of our amazing time the first time. The home is clean, well-equipped with everything, but the most wonderful thing is the view and close proximity to the beach. It's also close to wine tasting in Phylo...best pinot noirs!! If you love the northern CA coast, this place gives you the epitome of that. Two small things:Would recommend a few more beach towels. House sleeps 6 and there were only 3Would recommend being prepared to get the ability to charge an electric car. It is the future & more and more people will be getting them.

The house and location were magical. There were two couples with a Australian Labradoodle…Henry and his friend Ruby. Ruby was recently diagnosed with cancer and this was her dream trip with her Humans and Henry. She was a young dog once again and sat for hours just looking at the ocean. The house felt like home to all of us. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us and welcoming our beloved dogs

House is lovely in a very peaceful location with a nice view of both the ocean and river. There are two master suites. One is quite stunning with windows that allow a beautiful view of the ocean. It has a very modern bathroom and many closets. The second master suite is large but not as well appointed and the bathroom needs to be renovated. There are no usable clothes closets in this room. You have to hang clothes in a closet in the hall. Kitchen is well equipped. Grounds are well kept and pretty. Overall property is well maintained. Two excellent restauarants about 10 minutes away. The Albion grocery store leaves a lot to be desired!

We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and very comfortable, can easily gather your group together or retreat to one of the two large bedrooms on the ground floor. On occasion our family will look for a unique getaway location where time moves slowly and the days are quiet and tranquil, this is that kind of place. First, the home is secluded from outside influences of any kind except the ocean, wind, and the countless majestic views.
This location checked all the boxes; clean, quiet, inviting, amenities, comfort as well as conveniently accessible to the highway. Access to gain entry was as advertised, instructions regarding usage of amenities and lighting were thorough and concise. This stay exceeded my expectations based on all the aforementioned reasons.
Lastly, photos only tell a part of the story. Without the experience of being there, the visual of the sunset or sight and sound of the ocean waves against the rock formations, or the crisp ocean air as the sun fades into the horizon, is truly incomplete. If all the items valued in your getaway match this description, you have found your ideal location.

We were very happy with our stay and had no needs arise while we were there. The home was clean and the kitchen well equipped and we cooked in most of the evenings that setup was that great. We had our dogs and it was nice to arrive to some bowls, beds, treats, and towels for them. There are two master bedrooms with one not being pictured on the site so it was a nice surprise when we got there as both rooms were large and had great space since we were two couples traveling.
One small glitch was that we were not informed that a gardener would be on site and we were in the hot tub at the time. We had our dogs with us, tied up, so there was no issue but it scared him when they barked. We would have appreciated being informed as he was there to blow off and clean the property so we vacated the tub.
